Summary: You took care of Sevika after her encounter with Vi, which lead to another intimate moment between the two of you… and a small surprise.

“Oh for god’s sake where is she?” You could have sworn you turned the corner about ten times now. Before she left, Sevika told you that she was going to be gambling with the other idiots. The same place where she reunited with you.

Well, she did tell you where to find her but it seems like the location wasn’t that easy to find. And the fact that you managed to run into the most complicated alleyway and coincidentally found her there at that time, kinda impressive if you think about it.

You let out a frustrated sigh, thinking to yourself that you might have just walked in circles at this point.  

After what felt like an eternity, you made it to your destination.

“Vika let’s go—“ Your eyes widened in surprise when you saw that no one was there. Only Sevika’s red poncho was visible on the concrete ground.

“What the-” You grunted, immediately lifting the red gigantic fabric. You brushed the dust off of the poncho before folding it, securing it in your arms. Your eyes hastily roamed the dark alley.

Where did she go now? Did something happen to her? Maybe she went back to the Last Drop? Or is she at the apartment? You need to find her.

I don't know if you know them, but i recently read the "the you know who girls" series and really enjoyed it.It's a high school/basketball story with various wlw realationships:)Do you know any other books like that? (Your blog is absolutely great)

I do know them! I’ve read the first one and then promptly bought the second one from her website. (For those who aren’t familiar, they’re by Annameekee Hesik and they’re great for younger queer readers especially.) If you like those, my highest rec is Tell Me Again How a Crush Should Feel by Sara Farizan for sure, and I suspect you’ll also like Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde, which comes out on Tuesday, and Dating Sarah Cooper by Siera Maley, even though on the surface they don’t have much in common. Oh, and Style by Chelsea Cameron, definitely!

Happy YAs with actual queer casts (as opposed to ones that have them because, say, they’re set at conversion camp, or Rachel Gold’s, which I love for having very queer casts but also always feature some abuse - something I appreciate but obviously can’t recommend to everyone)instead of just a character or two are kind of just super recently budding, which is one of those great changes happening to LGBTQIAP YA right now. You Know Me Well by David Levithan and Nina LaCour was a really great example, and Meg & Linus by Hanna Nowinski is an upcoming one I’d definitely put on your to-read list.

I'm so disappointed so many of birth control's scenes were cut from the anime like when reiners last thought before almost pulling shotgun trigger and his moment with telling Annie that she is charming and shouldn't marry into nobility.

(This was the closest I could get to Bert doing the surprised pikachu face)

Oh no anon! I hope you have a laugh like I did when you see this typo. It is a most cursed and hilarious autocorrect 😂 I do sympathize. Over the years I've spelled his name Bertholt, Bertolt, and Bertholdt with some Fubars and Foobars mixed in with the Hoovers since that was an early romaji of his name. I guess poor Bert was doomed to this sort of thing when he was given such a complicated and confusing name.

But to answer your ask, I agree it's a shame. Bert fans have gotten the the short stick when it comes to both the manga and anime adaptation. My bertholt hoover tag is filled with much salt about his treatment in canon. In a fit of rage I once even speculated that Isayama treated Bert unfairly because of unresolved childhood trauma. I don't think that's entirely fair now, but I was angry and needed to vent.
