Moon jellies π
nothing wrong with being a gay scientist. nothing wrong with falling deeply in love with your lab partner who is also gay. nothing wrong with declaring your gay love for each other under the lights of your laboratory. nothing wrong with that.
Thereβs no such thing as a jellyfish.
From the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute:Β "By all accounts, jellyfish are creatures that kill people, eat microbes, grow to tens of meters, filter phytoplankton, take over ecosystems, and live forever. Because of the immense diversity of gelatinous plankton, jelly-like creatures can individually have each of these properties. However this way of looking at them both overstates and underestimates their true diversity. Taxonomically, they are far more varied than a handful of exemplars that are used to represent jellyfish or especially the so-called βtrueβ jellyfish. Ecologically, they are even more adaptable than one would expect by looking only at the conspicuous bloom forming families and species that draw most of the attention. In reality, the most abundant and diverse gelatinous groups in the ocean are not the ones that anyone ever sees.β

Waiting around on this rock we call a planet for an end. End to what? Now that I donβt know.
hozier singing about bones, dead bodies, preys, predators, decomposing, satanic sacrifice, anal sex:
me and the girls:
just making sure y'all know that I'm radically queer and inclusive. some things this includes:
trans women are regular women & should be an integral part of every women's community.
gender dysphoria is a varying and deeply personal experience (I say as a cis woman with butch dysphoria) and can exist independently of medical transition.
nonbinary people don't have to be "man/woman-aligned" (though many are). they're not binary, it says so right there.
define your gender or sexuality however makes you comfortable. all labels were made up by somebody. you have the right to have yours respected.
queer is a useful label & important to a lot of people.
aromantic & asexual people's sexuality is normal and they belong in lgbtq+ spaces.
bi/pan/m-spec women belong in wlw spaces.
whoever else it's popular to invalidate and hate these days in the name of community purism? they're my friends now. hurt them and you fight me.
guess who just followed me? I want to make sure they know they're not welcome. it's 2020, intolerance isn't cool anymore.
