Toni's cheeks flushed, but it was partially covered by the sunglasses she wore. Toni often got compliments on social media, but to get them face-to-face by a particularly beautiful woman is ... much different. She coughed slightly in an attempt to get her mind from wandering and get back to the present. "Thank you. You look..." Toni paused, placing a finger to her lips in an attempt to think of a word. "Is it too forward to say you look ravishing?" Her eyebrow quirked up just slightly above her glasses, her fake trans-atlantic accent peeking out to accentuate her words. It was less of a question and more of a statement. Before she could overthink what she was saying, she tilted her head towards the door. "Shall we head inside?"

Guitars sang from inside the bar, the concrete beneath her feet gently bounced with every hit of the bass drum inside. Perhaps live music wasn’t the vibe the other was going for, but Toni came to the conclusion that it was much more inconspicuous and easier than a nightclub or a bar with bright lights.

It’s been a while since she had properly taken time off to go out after a show. She typically would turn in for the night in her hotel, writing down new ideas to share with Tony Khan, or sketch up gear ideas for the next show, but this was a nice change of pace. She held the arms of her sweater close to her body to keep warm as she waited. The weather wasn’t terribly cold, but it definitely wasn’t the warm weather she has come to expect from her home in Florida.

Toni’s hair was still curled and face still ‘glammed up’ from the show they had just finished not too long ago. Though, rather than the black getup she had donned just hours prior, she was dressed down in a sweater and jeans - large sunglasses propped up on her nose as if they concealed her identity. She gently rocked forward and back on her feet, looking down at the dimly lit sidewalks for a familiar face.

Okay, okay, very fair… I won’t peer pressure you — It truly is amazing the opportunities we get in this business, I mean, as much as I love AEW, nothing compares to the hustle and bustle of Wrestlemania. However, I will always be available for a little lazy hour or two.

i’m thinking today officially needs a redo, because between being given the wrong coffee order and forgetting that i had furniture being dropped off today, i feel completely thrown off.
