I wanna know where people have lately gotten the audacity to leave comments on fanfics talking about how much the fanfic sucked and negatively critiquing an author's fic like it's a published book review.
It pisses me off cause I've seen authors abandoned or delete their fics because of this.
You're getting fanfics for FREE! No one asked for your opinion.
I hope y'all know as authors we get email notifications when you comment so we see EVERY comment that's been left.
We also can see the negative reviews you leave when you bookmark our fics
Growing up is realizing that Damon Salvatore was a stagnant character trapped in an endless cycle of fuckups by writers and a fan base that refused to let him grow, and if he was going to be with anyone, it should've been Bonnie, the only person to consistently hold him accountable and force him to face the consequences of his actions.
I think what I love most about mythology is that the “Trickster God/Spirit” is an archetypical character found in almost every body of folklore. It’s like “Oh, here’s our God of the Sun, our God of the Sea, our God of Fertility, and our God of Being A Wretched Little Gremlin Who Causes Problems On Purpose”
The first one I can remember was when I was about 13 (a horrible age for me) and I thought the whole damn world was ending.
It's just dark enough that you can barely see the people around you.
Music is blaring from all angles.
People are sobbing.
There are people breaking out into random fits of chanting.
People are shouting. A lot.
There's a lady laying in the starfish position on the stage doing all three.
There's some guy in the back pacing in a circle with his hands in the air and muttering to himself... when he's not chanting, sobbing, or shouting.
The preacher's standing up front, eerily quiet and just sort of taking it all in... when he's not chanting, sobbing, or shouting.
People are laying in the floor and it's unclear if they're passed out or just vibing.
...they are also prone to random bursts of chanting, sobbing, or shouting as well as the occasional spasms.
This lasts for a couple of hours until the lights turn on, the music cuts off, and everyone goes back to how they were pre-revival.
There is a debate on whether the group will meet up at Applebee's or go out for tacos.
Shit is gonna get real complicated, but no more so than canon, I'd say.
You may have to zoom to make out the words. These are just shitty pictures of my computer screen because I do not have the space to download the full file lol
“Public libraries are such important, lovely places!” Yes but do you GO there. Do you STUDY there. Do you meet friends and get coffee there. Do you borrow the FREE, ZERO SUBSCRIPTION, ZERO TRACKING books, audiobooks, ebooks, and films. Have you checked out their events and schemes. Do you sign up for the low cost courses in ASL or knitting or programming or writing your CV that they probably run. Do you know they probably have myriad of schemes to help low income families. Do you hire their low cost rooms if you need them. Have you joined their social groups. Do you use the FREE COMPUTERS. Do you even know what your library is trying to offer you. Listen, the library shouldn’t just exist for you as a nice idea. That’s why more libraries shut every year
Question. Does it have to be a doctor you are currently seeing, or am I allowed to curb-stomp anyone with a medical degree?
My controversial opinion is that I think chronically ill people should be able to fight one doctor a year
