F.Hawks: Man sometimes it's great to just unwind and take a load-off.
C.Hawks: What did you do? Why are you acting so casual and relaxed? Did you sleep with Fanon Dabi again?!
F.Hawks: Yes, but can't a guy just take a day to relax? Sheesh, it's like you never got a day off or something. Relax bud.
C.Hawks: I get time off! But I don't spend it sleeping with villains!
F.Hawks: You should try it sometime, you may like it.
C.Hawks: I'm going now, I rather hang out with All Might than you
F.Hawks: Why not go on a date with your man crush instead? I'm sure number 1 wouldn't mind.
C.Hawks: I need more friends...
An old favorite
Fanon lovers: Hawks would be a shitty boyfriend since he is always working and probably uses his body in some lines of his work.
Canon lovers: Hawks is a precious fucking bean that must be protected. If you try and slander the precious nugget, you are going to meet your McFucking end.
*Fanon's phone rings as he is now getting a call from Canon, he answers putting the call on speaker*
F.Hawks: Yello?
C.Hawks over the phone: What happened to the call with Talons? It went straight to voicemail.
F.Hawks: She disconnected the call. By the way, what's the verdict for Talons causing a natural disaster on the Meta Liberation Army's hideout?
C.Hawks: Talons what?! She cannot do that! That could cause casualties to those inside the building! While you are here under the orders of the commission, you are still limited to what you can do. And since you are partnering up with me, I am responsible for you and your actions. So I would appreciate it if you didn't do anything drastic that could get your hero license provoked. We do not have the jurisdiction to attack the Meta Liberation Army or the League of Villians just yet. We have our orders. And our orders to are to wait until we have all the information we need to take them out. So in the meantime, we are to patrol and take care of what goes on on the streets. Act as if we have no idea what the Meta Liberation Army is up to. I would appreciate it if you would just come down to my agency so we can get you settled and find a place for you as a foreign hero to Japan. I've already talked to the commission, and they said to stay vigilant but don't blow our cover. If anyone asks, you are here as a guest under my agency. We can NOT let them know our next move. So please Talons. Don't do anything drastic.
*C.Hawks hangs up the phone and F.Hawks puts his phone away*
F.Hawks: Yeesh kid, you really stressed him out with your idea to destroy their hideout. Sorry, but we already have a plan set, for now, it's just to take care of the villains and nomus that are running rampant through Japan.
đ„șđđ hii!
C.Hawks: Heyo! It's nice to meet you!
F.Hawks: Hey there chickadee, you're surely a sight for sore eyes~
It's 5 in the morning and instead of going to bed like I should have 6 hours ago, I made myself stir fry
Fanon hawks who had his feathers forcefully removed all over his body except for his wings. Removed and made to never grow back. The commission deemed them useless and a hazard to his work. Fanon let it happen and while it doesn't bother him anymore, he still gets the feeling that his feathers were never removed. When those times comes, he often gets upset over his feathers being removed. He swears at times he can still feel them, but becomes disheartened when he remembers they were removed.
This is brought up one day after a hard day at work. He was depleted of all his feathers, yet still had to meet Dabi at their usual spot for intel. During that meeting Dabi had made a snarky remark about Hawks getting too close due his wings being depleted of feathers and Hawks with no weapon. Fanon Hawks had quirked his head in a questioning manner, exclaiming he still had feathers. When he went to pull up his sleeve to show his feathers, all that could be seen was his bare arm. Fanon blinked for a moment talking to himself.
"Oh right, they aren't there anymore..."
Dabi rolled his eyes and told him he still wasn't ready to join the league. After their meeting Fanon left to go back home, whilst Dabi started to make his way back to the LOV base. On his walk back he couldn't help but get what Fanon had said, out of his head. What did he mean by there weren't there anymore?
How I imagine Canon Hawks vs. Fanon Hawks would react when you tell them happy new year.
C.Hawks: "Happy new year to you as well!"
Vs.
F.Hawks: "Happy new year, birdie. Let's make the most of this moment while we still can~."
Such a funny little goof
F.Hawks: I am too fast for my own good, just try and out fly me. YOU CAN'T
C.Hawks: I'm too fast for my own good, both in the air and on the ground.
F.Hawks: Dude, you aren't that fast a runner.
C.Hawks: Oh really?
C.Hawks:
F.Hawks: Doesn't prove anything.
C.Hawks: Wanna race then?
F.Hawks: ...
F.Hawks: No.
C.Hawks: Thought so.
Hi there! Auro here with yet another question for both canon and fanon hawks if that's alright with you! I was wondering if either of you guys believe in soulmates, and how much of a romanticist would you guys say you are?
Thank you yet again for your time, keep up your amazing work! Bye boys, play nice! Peace! -Auro
C.Hawks: Soulmates? I don't think so. Plus I'm not big on romance, I'm already married to my work. I don't think I'll have any time for a relationship until maybe after I reach my goal.
F.Hawks: Soulmates? Cringe. I'm more of a, fuck around and find out kind of a guy. If I meet a girl I like, take her on a few dates and then if all goes well, then it does. If not, all well might as well move on.
Who can I commission to draw me Hawks being a soft boi? Like like, soft boi hours soft boi
the darkness of hawks my hero academia
I remember when Hawks was first introduced and opinions were kinda split since we were still trying to figure him out. Even with a bit of a shaky start, I think some people were enamored with him from the get-go. Anyhow, youâre right to say that he was designed to be a fan favorite, Horikoshi admitted that himself when he said he wanted him to be popular!
Hmm. Thatâs kind of interesting to point out. âA rags to riches story?â And the âopportunity of the hero systemâ ooh that makes me think, and once again I am wishing we got more on Hawksâ side of the HPSC story and how his debut went. I can definitely see them pulling a âwith hard work, you too can be a hero!â and âthe hero life offers you many great opportunities and grand splendorâ to reel people in, but I think that happens naturally because of the All Might craze. Hawksâ history was kept private so nobodyâs gonna be saying he went from rags to riches, and certainly not Hawks himself with how little he shares.
Woah đ Oh my god, the spooky music came out of nowhere! That surprised me, and what a dramatic explanation, âcrafted on an empty conveyor belt by men in suits and empty office roomsâ and you called him a chameleon HELP- but apt description. I feel like Iâm reading a fanfic by a theatre kid, this is neat. Really poetic in a serious, looming darkness kind of way. And then everything playing in the background??? Haha, really cool way to design a video and with the sound effects.
Iâm glad you acknowledged that while Hawksâ theatrics COULD have been bits and pieces of who he mightâve turned out to be without HPSC interference, itâs mostly trained acting. Which is part of why he became my favorite. I think itâs really cool to analyze what he does and try to figure out the intentions behind them, and how he switches from one personality to another.
AndâŠthereâs where Iâll have to disagree. Lady Nagant mightâve been a hired killer, but Hawks isnât. The HPSC stopped the whole âkillingâ thing after the last Chairman was killed. And heâs never tried to enable them? He was really upset about that, not wanting to turn a blind-eye to the Leagueâs victims, didnât let anyone die during the High-End incident despite the HPSC clearly saying âyou can, and you willâ even if it couldâve convinced Dabi. Heâs not the HPSCâs blind puppet. And he definitely doesnât like them or working for them. Otherwise he wouldnât have said, âthereâs nobody to give me orders anymore, Iâm free of my shackles.â When they got shut down.
The spy gig wasnât the first time he expressed disliking their ideas. The HPSC loves putting up appearances, past and future, with âfalse sweetnessâ and he ruined their elaborate little public showcase of the top heroes. They wanted polite PR lines? They called it a âcritical turning point?â he threw that line back in their faces. âIf this is a critical turning point, then what I donât want to hear is all these PR-friendly soundbites.â You know, the same thing that annoyed Nagant for it being a lie to the public to save face. Perfect, âsafe wordsâ but not real, honest heroics. He sounds rude, but he shoots down the idea of âclinging to the pastâ by making a counter-point to every line said during that. The HPSC was very frustrated with losing All Might, this was their way to make up for it. But society shouldnât cling to that old system. Hawks is the first hero to ever say that. Otherwise pretty much everyone is trying to cling to the old ways and become the next All Might.
Itâs funny. They expressed frustration over âthis is what we get for relying on one man.â But the HPSC continues their old habits of relying on one man when they sent Hawks in alone to spy on the villains with no way out for him, forbidding him to tell anyone of his mission and hiding how he was undercover even during the raid. He couldâve gotten help, he wouldnât have thought killing Twice was his only option if he had back-up. But nothing. They sent him to deal with the consequences alone, and they got their karma from making the child of a villain, pretend to be a villain and do things he hates, thinking heâd do it easily, but Hawks drew it out for so long that Twiceâs clone of Re-Destro destroyed their HQ and killed the Chairwoman. And might I add it was really stupid of them to invite Re-Destro to talk teaming up with support items or whatever when thereâs no way they wouldnât have known he was dangerous. Hawks wouldâve warned them. And he knows theyâre manipulating him. Isnât it sad that he says âcalling it a proposal when I canât refuse? how malicious of youâ when Nagant tried to refuse killing, she got a gun pulled out on her and got dumped in Tartarus. Hawks likes being a hero, and helping people. And theyâre providing support for his mom, and hiding his family history. Theyâve got blackmail on him, and Hawks himself canât refuse if saying yes means someone else wonât have to dirty their hands in his place. Heâll take on the burden so people can rest easy.
And as funny as the sentence âwhat is Washâs body count?â is, Hawks and Nagant are the only ones of their kind that were created in this way. Horikoshiâs said it, Iâm not just pulling everything out of thin air.
I donât view heroes killing villains or criminals as âdarkâ at all
sometimes when a villain is dangerous you have no choic
"Woah there, sorry. Did my wing hit you?" Hawks asked as you picked yourself up from the ground.
You didn't expect his wings to be so powerful that a simple flap would knock you off your feet. You dusted yourself off and turned your gaze to him. He waited for an answer as he looked you up and down, analyzing you and your mood.
"It's fine. It was my mistake to get so close to them in the first place." You admitted, getting ready to head to where you were going.
Hawks let you pass, but not before questioning what had happened. Normally, he would have picked up the vibrations and moved before his wings would have hit you. However, he didn't sense a thing. Was he sick? Were his feathers alright? He didn't know. He decided to write it off as spacing out and went on with his day. A few villains and helping the common folk was what his day was filled with. That is, until he got a call from a certain flame user. He went to their normal meeting spot and waited for Dabi to arrive.
A few mintues go by, and Hawks goes to call Dabi, wondering where he was, only for a ringtone to go off behind him, making him jump. He clutched his hesrt as he turned towards Dabi, who stared at him bewildered.
"How long have you been there?!" Hawks exclaimed, trying to calm down from the near heart attack he almost experienced
"I've been here, waiting. Didn't you pick up on me walking behind you?" Dabi questioned the hero, clearly confused.
"I..." There was no way for Hawks to lie and make an excuse, so he decided to just tell the truth.
"I haven't been able to sense anything with my feathers as of late. Haven't been able to pick up on anything. I'm worried it may affect my work and efficiency."
Dabi raised a brow, clearly unamused.
"Let me test something then." Dabi went to grab a feather and plucked it from Hawks' wing. He didn't sense Dabi going to grab it, and watched seeing what he may do next.
"Tell me if you feel anything." Dabi stated as he set the feather ablaze.
Hawks didn't feel a single thing, which terrified him. Usually he would pick up on his feather being burnt, the pain equal to that of a pinch. However, he didn't feel anything at all, as if the feather wasn't even a part of him. As if it wasn't apart of him...
"Anything?" Dabi asked
"Nothing..." Hawks muttered.
"Send a feather my way, yeah?" Dabi suggested.
Right. He couldn't sense vibrations, that was all. Right? Hawks tried to send a feather at Dabi, only for nothing to happen. His wings didn't even move. This caused fear to shoot through Hawks' spine, and the feathers on his wings puffed up. He turned his head, wide eyed as he looked at his wings.
"That's not supposed to happen." Hawks admitted, as he tried to flatten his feathers.
He couldn't, the panic he felt was too great, causing his wings to stay the way they were.
"Are you okay?" Dabi asked, getting sort of freaked out by the display in front of him.
"I don't know, I d- OW!" Hawks removed his gloves as he looked at his hands, more specifically, his nails.
His nails, once trimmed and filed, now long and sharp, darkening as they grew. He watched as his hands changed, his fingertips now thickly padded and the back becoming layered in scaley thick skin. He kneeled over in pain as he felt feathers begin to grow on his back and neck, some on his shoulders, face, ears and even his arms. The feeling overwhelming as he turned to Dabi in desperation. The villain, taling a step back as he watched Hawks transform before his very eyes.
Hawks felt his eyes dialate as his surroundings became more clear. His throat burned as if his vocal cords were on fire, a deep throated, high pitched shriek coming from him instead of his usual scream. He could feel his muscles contract and relax as his whole body transformed into something, not even he could comprehend.
"Da-bi... wh.. what is happen- ing to m-me...?" Hawks groaned, his voice hoarse and dry.
Dabi readied himself, arms in flames as he watched from a distance, waiting to see if Hawks would attack. After another minute of pain and agony, Hawks ended up passing out from exhaustion, his body reformed. Dabi wasn't sure what to do, but he did know one thing. If Hawks was to be spotted, then his plans of using the hero, would go down the drain. So he stayed, and waited, and watched. He waited for the hero to wake up, maybe then he would get some answers as to what the fuck just happened.
