Summary: You & The Master have history. But it never ends the way you want it to.
A/N: Will probably do a part two
Warnings: TPOTD Spoilers! I guess a slightly toxic relationship??? It’s the Master so… always toxic lol
You stood anxiously, finding yourself subconsciously biting your lip in anticipation. What the hell had he planned this time? Every time you’ve found yourself in his presence, he’d manage to lure you in, make you feel sorry for him, but then he’d ultimately betray your feelings and conceptions about him with trying to hurt the Doctor. Truth was, you understood somewhat how he felt. To not want to be you. To want to be greater, have more purpose, to be… More.
You’d been around the Doctor a long time. Not consistently, after choosing to walk away a few trips after the year that never was, back when she was a different person. But you’d often find yourself mixed up in the Doctors antics over the next few years of your life. You saw her when she was an older Scottish man, and when the current man on your mind was a she… Missy. You’d stuck around for a little while when the Doctor found himself alone after Clara. You’d become close with Missy. Friends you may have even said. Perhaps it was easier, purely because Missy felt completely different to the man you had to face when he was Saxon. Once again, you left, after sticking around for a few months, going back to your normal life. It was only a year or so later you found yourself in another situation involving the Doctor and her greatest enemy.
“Not dead then?” You raised a brow at the new face of the man in front of you. He was donning a dark purple jacket, tartan waist coat and trousers combo with a beard. He somehow looked put together, whilst keeping that crazed look in his eyes that told you he was as wild as years before. Smirking, he approached.
“I could say the same to you.” He looked you up and down. “I see time has been kind to you all these years.” You rolled your eyes at him, shaking your head.
“Stop. Whatever you’re planning, just don’t.” You said exasperatedly. “It never works. Why do it to yourself?” His smirk dropped, a darker gaze falling onto his features, his eyes boring into your own.
“Because I have nothing else to live for.”
Of course, you were right. His plan was foiled, as the Doctor defeated him again. You had tried, time and time again to get through to the man, but every time you felt you got a bit closer, you were pushed back multiple steps.
You thought about all those times, as you were brought out of your mind by a familiar sound. The whirring of the TARDIS echoed through the building as you found yourself rushing towards it. You looked to see a swarm of UNIT soldiers aiming their guns at the box, whilst Ace & Tegan stood on the stairs, and Kate ahead, ready to face the crazed man when he stepped out with the Doctor. After what felt like a life time, the door finally opened, as the familiar face you had been thinking about appeared… The Master. He was quickly grabbed by two of UNITs men. He looked around, scanning the building, a grin breaking out onto his face.
“Put him in the bunker.” Kate spoke, ordering her men. “Constant monitoring, full security detail.” The two soldiers walked him, as they followed their boss’ words.
“Ooh, the bunker! That sounds nice! I love a bunker!” The Master smiled, looking around. “Anybody want to join me? Bunk-up in the bunker?” He smirked as you watched from the sidelines. He suddenly turned to Kate, pulling on the two armed men. “Your dad was an idiot.” He commented to Kate as she stayed straight faced, ignoring his quip. The two guards pulled him back, continuing to walk with him, as his head snapped back round, his eyes landing on the two former companions who stood above him. “Oh, Tegan Jovanka! How's your Auntie Vanessa? Do you keep her in a little doll's house?” He commented, as she glared down at him.
“I'm going to enjoy watching you locked up in a tiny cell.” Tegan narrowed her eyes at him as he raised a brow.
“That's right, you tell me. And Ace!” His attention turned to the other woman. “Or should I say Dorothy? Didn't the Doctor ditch you? No? Little fallout with your Machiavellian maestro?” He taunted.
“Last time I saw you, you were half cat.” Ace raised a brow, as he shrugged.
“A man’s allowed to experiment.” He retorted, before his gaze finally landed on you. You looked at him with a softer expression than the others, but kept your arms folded over your chest, showing you weren’t afraid and ready to stand your ground.
“And (Y/N) (L/N)…” He gave a half smile. “Still holding onto the Doctors beck and call I see.” You stayed silent. “No? Nothing to say?” He sighed. “Well that’s boring.” Truth was, what could you say that you hadn’t already tried before. “Still,-“ He paused. “-looking as young as ever.” He commented as you raised a brow, before Kate cut him off.
“Take him away.” She ordered as the men dragged him towards the elevator.
“Yes, yes, take me away! You'll all feel safer then with me in the building. You're not staying, Doctor?” He called from inside the lift. “You're not going to leave them alone, are you... while you go Dalek hunting?” The Doctor didn’t reply, as the doors began to close. “Whoo!” Was the last thing the Master said before the doors sealed, sending him down to below the building. You finally let out a breathe you didn’t know you were holding.
“(Y/N), Ace, Tegan, I need you to stay here and monitor the Master. We won't be long.” The Doctor told you three as she turned to head back into her ship, you found yourself zoning out, turning as you headed back into Kates office.
A few minutes later, Ace & Tegan entered the room, seeing you watching the security camera of the bunker on the screen, watching as the Master paced around his cell, occasionally staring up directly into the camera above him. It was like he knew you were watching.
“We can take turns watching.” Ace commented as you snapped your head towards the voice, not even registering them enter. “I really thought I’d seen the last of him.”
“Yeah, well, he has a habit of coming back when you least expect it.” You replied as the two woman came round to stand beside you.
“How’d you meet him?” Tegan asked as you sighed.
“Many years ago. When the Doctor was still a he. The Master came to Earth, became Prime Minister… He managed to slaughter thousands of people, take over, but the Doctor reversed time. None of it ever happened to you.” You told them.
“That sounds like The Master.” Ace shook her head slightly.
“Then I met him again, when he was a she. Missy. But she was different, like she had more of a softer side. In her own wicked way of course.” Both women turned to you in surprise at that remark. “And then this one. With a cyber army not long ago.”
“Wow… You really had a lot of run ins then.” Tegan said as you nodded.
“I would’ve even said we were friends…” You muttered lowly, causing both woman again to look surprised. “But that was long ago now.” The two woman shared a look.
“Is there…” Ace began, unsure how to ask. “History?” She raised a brow as you scoffed lightly, shaking your head.
“Not like that.” You sighed. “Well, not in a conventional sense I suppose. He’s the Master. He doesn’t do feelings.” You looked back at the screen, seeing him once again staring directly at the camera. Silence fell between you all for a moment before you began walking away. “If I’m not back in ten minutes, come and get me.” You called over your shoulder as the two woman furrowed their brows, watching as you left.
This was stupid. Again. You found yourself running to him. You knew it wasn’t healthy. You knew you couldn’t change his mind. Yet here you were, heading down to face the man for what felt like the hundredth time. To try and empathise with him.
Entering the bunker, you approached the room he was being kept in, seeing two guards stood at the door.
“I need to speak to him.” You told them both as they looked at you, unsure. “Ten minutes. Kates orders.” They sent each other a look before one nodded, as they turned to unlock the door. You send them a nod as thanks as you entered, the door slamming shut behind you. The Master had his back to you, as you slowly approached.
“It’s like you couldn’t stay away…” The Master quipped, slowly turning as he looked at you with a smirk. “And what do I owe this pleasure of your presence?” He gestured around cell with his tied hands. “I would offer you to come in but…” He trailed off as his eyes scanned the cell bars.
“So what’s it this time?” You asked, as you stepped closer, only a foot away from the bars that held him. “Take over the planet? The solar system? The universe? Take down the Doctor? Fail again?” You raised a brow as he laughed.
“Ever so perceptive.” He furrowed his brows. “Do you really think so little of me?” He took a few steps forwards.
“Can you blame me?” You folded your arms. “I mean, every time I’ve met you, you’ve tried to do one or all of those things. Your track record isn’t exactly varied.” He nodded, slightly shrugging.
“I’ll give you that.” He said. “But I could say the same to you.” He raised a brow, as he stood a right in front of the bars in front of you. “Still running to the Doctor every time she clicks her fingers.” He lifted his hands to snap his own fingers together, before breaking out into a manic grin. “It’s sweet really. Your loyalty. Your… What’s the word?” He pursed his lips. “Ah that’s it. Patheticness.” You rolled your eyes.
“I came down here to talk, not to be insulted.” You went to turn away but jumped at the sound of his hands hitting the bars.
“Do not turn away your back on me!” The Master exclaimed, as your head whipped back round to him, slight fear in your eyes as his expression looked dark. “You have no idea.” He said quieter. “No idea-“ He spat. “Don’t even try to pretend you do.” You swallowed the lump in your throat as you found yourself turning back to face him. “Remember what I said to you… All those years ago…”
“We could run away.” Missy shrugged, as you shook your head at her words. “No, I mean it. Imagine it. Me and you, on the open road of time and space.”
“You mean me watching you cause chaos?” You laughed lightly.
“If chaos was to follow us, then so be it.” She smirked as you found yourself smiling. “I always wondered what it would be like to be the Doctor… have a little pet-“
“I’m not a pet!” You exclaimed, as she gave you a ‘come on’ look. “I’m not!”
“Ok, ok, fine!” She said exasperated. “Companion.” She air quoted as you raised a brow.
“Why?” You wondered aloud. “I mean, you’ve always been a lone wolf right? What’s changed?” Her gaze softened slightly as she sat back in her seat, reaching her hands out as she began to play the piano that sat before her.
“I don’t know.” She said truthfully. “Maybe it’s age. Maybe it’s boredom. Doing the same thing, over and over and over.” She paused, focusing on her playing. “Maybe it’s you.”
“Of course.” You said quietly, almost breathless. “But that was then. Before you did what you did.” He sighed, leaning his head on the cold bars. He then pulled his gaze back to you, slowly holding a hand through the bars as you peered down at it.
“All you have to do is take my hand.” He said quietly. “Please-“ He tried as you blinked, peering down at his open palm, you found yourself subconsciously reaching out with your own, slowly going to do as he asked… Suddenly, an alarm blared throughout the building, jolting you away, as your head spun round to the metal doors, rushing over as you banged on them, trying to get a response, but nothing. You turned back to him.
“What have you done?” You asked, as the man before you smirked. “Master!” You exclaimed, storming towards him. He laughed as you looked concerned.
“Unleashed hell.”
Hi!
I've been debating doing this since the beginning of the year just because of some personal situations, school beginning again, and me being behind on requests.
But I will be closing my requests soon.
I will be accepting any requests for (about) the next two weeks to give you guys the opportunity to send in all the requests/thoughts you might have. And I will be accepting requests for open characters on my Characters That I Write For list.
I will be closing my requests on 1 February 2023.
I'm sorry if this upsets anyone. I don't really want to do this either, but I'm behind and a bit overwhelmed. I hope that you can understand, but I am really excited to hear your requests and thoughts!
And thank you to all the people that have requested things from me. I really appreciate that. I am working on all of your non-posted requests, I’ve just been a bit busy lately, but I will be posting things soon.

Pairing: Dh!Master x Autistic!Reader
Word Count: 2800
Summary: The Master and the reader spend a day together, and some feelings finally come to light.
Warnings: Mild self-deprecating language
A/N: Sorry this took so long but my teachers decided to give me lots of tests this past week. Also, requests are open 😄
Ever since you had told The Master you’re autistic, travelling with him had definitely become easier. Of course, it wasn’t completely smooth sailing, but he had started to accommodate for your sensory issues and you appreciated it. Also, you were pretty sure that he had done some research on autism as he had started to ask about and help with things that you had never mentioned to him.
For example, he was currently cooking you breakfast, after finding you stuck in your bed already exhausted from getting dressed that morning. He had asked if you were alright, and immediately understood what was happening when you had grumbled about executive dysfunction. The Master had gently helped you along to the kitchen, and sat you down at the breakfast bar before starting to cook your favourite breakfast meal for you.
Sitting and watching him cooking caused a warm feeling in your chest. When the two of you spent time together like this, you could almost pretend that he loved you too.
You were pulled out of your thoughts when a plate was placed down in front of you, quickly followed by a cup of tea. Smiling up at him, you murmured a tired ‘thank you’ before digging in. Surprisingly, he sat down next to you with his own plate and started eating as well. The two of you only tended to share meals together when you were out exploring alien planets, and you had rarely seen him eat when on the TARDIS.
Not wanting to scare him off, you continued to eat your breakfast in silence, trying not to over think the situation. He had finished his meal before you, so as soon as you had finished your tea he was already placing your cup, cutlery and plate into the dishwasher.
“You feel like leaving the TARDIS today, or would you prefer to stay in and rest?” The Master asked you, leaning on the worktop in front of you to get your attention.
“I could do a short trip out, get some fresh air. Nothing too adventurous though.” You gave him a slightly awkward smile and hoped that the blush on your face, that had been caused by his intensive care of you, wasn’t too noticeable.
“Good, I was thinking we could go to this little planet in the Pegasus Galaxy called Mipra.” He started to walk out of the kitchen and you quickly got up to follow him.
“The people there aren’t anywhere near advancing to space travel yet, but one of their cities has a brilliant marketplace that I thought you would enjoy. It’s quite similar to Earth in a lot of ways, but they sell things you won’t be able to find anywhere else this side of the universe.” Listening to him monologue instantly made you smile, and you were very glad that he was looking at where he was going rather than you. “Also, I’ve already checked and it shouldn’t be bad for your senses - but I already have an exact time to go so that the market won’t be busy.”
Oh yeah, he’d also been doing that recently. Every place you went to he made sure to check that the planet’s atmosphere wouldn’t be too much for you like it had been on Zacrypso. Honestly it had only made you fall more in love with him, as he had been the first person to ever care about you enough to do that. You tried not to read too far into it though, as he was probably doing it because he felt guilty.
Soon enough the two of you had landed on the planet, and he was holding open the door for you. The city that you had landed in reminded you of pictures that you had seen of Old Town in Stockholm. Every building was its own unique colour, but they were saturated enough that it wasn’t too bright for you.
Every street that you could see was lined with various shops and market stalls selling a range of objects - most of which you hadn’t ever seen before. There was a grin on your face as you looked back to The Master, who was giving you a small smile.
Turning back to face the beautiful marketplace, you strided towards the closest cluster of stalls, eager to investigate whatever they were selling.
————
The Master hadn’t been able to keep the smile off of his face as he followed you around the marketplace. He was very content to simply watch as you investigated the various trinkets each stall was offering, occasionally choosing something to buy. He also made sure to stand behind you and look menacing whenever someone looked like they were going to try and scam you, very pleased at the fear on their faces when they saw him.
Watching you, he realised how fascinated you could be by the simplest of things, and how you had a tendency to gravitate towards the items that looked like they were half-broken out of pity. The Master thought it was adorable.
As the two of you wandered down another alleyway, he noticed that you took a wide girth to avoid a stall. Upon further inspection, he noticed that the stall was selling various types of fish, and he made a mental note of your aversion to the smell.
Ever since you had told him about being autistic, The Master had tried to discover anything that you didn’t like so that he could protect you from them in the future. It had been a couple of months since he had taken you to Zacrypso, but he still felt guilty despite your insistence otherwise. He also hadn’t made another attempt to woo you since then, and instead he had tried to squash his feelings for you down so far that he would forget they even exist.
Unfortunately, you seemed to thwart his efforts simply by being yourself. Everything you did made his hearts race faster, and he was glad for this regeneration’s darker complexion, as otherwise you would have definitely caught onto his feelings by now. For example, you were currently telling him all about a little blue plant that you had bought from a vendor while he had been buying drinks. Half the information you were telling him was completely incorrect but he wasn’t going to bother correcting you because of how enthusiastic you were. He loved the way you held the little plant as though it was the most precious item you had ever owned.
“I’ve decided I’m going to name her Cerulean, cause of her colour.” You told him with a definitive nod, and he was lucky that your words had baffled him enough that he didn’t melt at your expression.
“Her?”
“Yep, I know most plants don’t tend to have a gender, but this one feels like a ‘her’ to me.” You told him with a shrug.
“Why name it then? ” He couldn’t help but be curious, unsure as to whether this was just a you thing or a human thing.
“Well it’s a plant, they’re living things, they deserve names.” You tilted you head as you addressed him, as though it was impossible for you to imagine not naming the plant.
“You’re adorable.” The words slipped out of his mouth before he really had time to think, but he didn’t let his panic show, focusing on your reaction instead.
His hearts warmed slightly when you went from shocked at what he had said to flustered within seconds. You were now avoiding his gaze by staring at the floor, but he could see the smile on your blushing face. He was just about able to hear the mumbled ‘thanks’ before he decided it was best to lead you on down the alley.
————
You had enjoyed your morning out on Mipra, the planet had been close enough to Earth that you didn’t feel disoriented, yet you were still able to experience alien culture with the marketplace. One downside was that the majority of food they had on offer was seafood - or at least it looked that way - and none of it had particularly appealed to you, so The Master had suggested you head back to the TARDIS for lunch.
As soon as you passed through the doors you started to notice just how tired you were, and you knew that you probably wouldn’t be able to gather enough energy to go back out to the planet after lunch. Luckily, you knew that The Master wouldn’t mind, so you happily followed him into the kitchen for the second time that day, taking the same seat that you had that morning and placing down the various knick-knacks you had bought onto the counter.
You didn’t even know what half of what you bought was, but you knew that none of it was dangerous since The Master had stepped in whenever he saw you eying up anything that could have harmed you. As you inspected all of your items, paying close attention to Cerulean, your mind wandered back to earlier. More specifically, you were replaying the moment that The Master had called you adorable for what was probably the 100th time by now, and you felt your face heating up yet again.
You must have zoned out because the next thing you knew The Master was asking you what sauce you wanted on the pasta you hadn’t notice him cooking. Brining yourself back to reality you managed to answer before he got too suspicious.
Luckily for you, The Master didn’t try to initiate conversation while you were eating, giving you time to push the moment from earlier out of your mind and focus back on reality completely.
“Do you feel up to going back to the market?” He asked once you had both finished your meals.
“I don’t think I have enough energy for that, but we could do something in the TARDIS if you wanted?” You suggested, hoping that he wouldn’t chose TARDIS repairs over spending time with you.
“Sure, what do you have in mind?” He addressed you with an unreadable look, which made you slightly nervous.
“Uh, I mean do you have any board games or video games? We could play some of them?”
“That sounds good, I think I have some board games in the library.” He told you, getting up from his seat to head in that direction, causing you to do the same.
You weren’t quite sure why he was spending all this time with you, but you had noticed him doing it more often recently. When you had started travelling with him he would often close himself away from you by working on his TARDIS, or planning out ways to overthrow planets. Nowadays, he seemed to chose spending time with you over doing those activities more often than not. You couldn’t deny that you appreciated it, as you loved to spend the time with him.
Contrary to what most would believe, he was actually pretty laid back the majority of the time, and he tended to go along with whatever you wanted to do. Though he would always leave you alone to rest if you needed it.
Since Zacrypso the two of you had gotten a lot closer, and your feelings from him had grown as well. At times like these, when he seemed so dedicated to you, you couldn’t help but wonder if maybe he felt the same way. Those feelings had been easily bushed aside when you realised that The Master probably had some ulterior motive for anything the two of you did together, but you were finding it much more difficult for you to justify his actions without coming to the conclusion that he cared for you.
Like how the last time he had gone on a solo mission - normally the ones that he deemed too dangerous for a human to go on - and he had come back with a new stim toy for you. He also always made sure that you bought your ear defenders along with you whenever he was planning to cause some explosions.
You had been so lost in thought that you didn’t notice you were in the library until The Master caught your attention, showing off a range of board games and asking you to pick. Half of the games he owned you hadn’t even heard of, so you decided the best option was to choose the Game of Life and let The Master choose the other.
The two of you ended up playing games for hours, and at some point it had evolved into casual conversation, sitting next to each other on the floor of the library with the remnants of your games strewn out over the coffee table. As he laughed at something you had said, you felt yourself enticed by his image, unable to tear your eyes away from his face. He was beautiful and ethereal, and somehow he was convinced that out of everyone in the universe, you were the one worth spending his time with.
“Thank you, for today, it was lovely.” You told him, still staring at him.
“There’s no need to thank me, I’d do this for you anytime, dear.” He replied, turning to face you with a soft smile.
“Why?”
“Why?”
“I’m just a human, why would you do anything for me?” You felt small when you asked the question, baring all of your weaknesses for The Master to see.
“But you’re not just a human, you’re so much more than the rest of them, at least to me. You’re no where near as annoying as the rest of your species, not to mention that you’re clever enough to keep up with over half of what I say. You’re also pretty funny, I like your jokes and sarcasm, even if any sarcasm in return can fly over your head.” As he was speaking, he seemed to be studying your face, as though he too couldn’t tear his eyes away. “I find you so endearing, and I actually like spending time with you, which is more than I can say for the rest of the universe. Also, you’re absolutely beautiful, not just in looks but in your outlook on the world as well.”
At his words you could feel your face heating up, especially when his last sentence finally made sense in your mind.
“You think I’m beautiful?”
“Of course, I always have.” The look he gave you was so genuine that you knew he couldn’t be lying. “Can I tell you something y/n?”
“Yes, Master.”
“I think I’m in love with you, actually I know I am. I’ve known for quite a while now but I’ve been too worried about how you would react.” He had turned away from you know, focusing on the carpet’s intricate designs. “But spending this day with you, I realised that I can’t hide these feelings any longer. If you want me to just drop you off at home I’ll understand.”
His voice had gotten quieter and more unsure as he went on, and he had begun to shrink in on himself.
Without thinking you reached your hand out to hold his, intertwining your fingers. He gave a small gasp and looked up, his deep brown eyes meeting yours in an intense gaze. If he was any other person you wouldn’t be able to hold this eye contact, if he was any other person you wouldn’t have been able to even hold his hand. He wasn’t any other person though, he was The Master, and you loved him.
“I love you too.” You told him with a shaky breath and a wide grin, scared about the vulnerability but oh so happy that you had finally said those words out loud.
His mouth fell open in shock, before turning into a grin that matched yours, and you found yourself struggling to not melt into a puddle right then. Slowly, giving you time to get away, he reached out his free hand to cup your face. Then, somehow even slower, he started to pull your face towards his. You closed your eyes, hoping to sway some of your nerves by not looking at him, though it didn’t help much.
When your lips finally touched, it felt so soft, and intimate. Though somehow it also managed to feel completely electrifying at the same time. You allowed yourself to fall fully into his embrace, as he moved his hand to grip around your waist and pull you in further.
Eventually, you had to break for air, and once you did you leant your forehead on his shoulder. Your face was flushed and your breath was still struggling to come, but you were smiling and he was holding you. Looking up to him, you felt an overwhelming sense of safety and love, and you knew that no matter what the future held for the two of you, everything would be alright if he was by your side.

The TCE began malfunctioning one day after you and The Master came back from a relatively tame adventure. He couldn’t understand why a machine he meticulously build would be acting up like this. The Master always prided himself on being an excellent engineer and having taken good care of his technology, unlike The Doctor who always seemed to be breaking something. The Master was very upset and confused by the slight malfunction, but you drew him away from his turning mind as you led him back to your bedroom for the night.
After you were deeply asleep, The Master awoke in the middle of the night, unable to draw his mind fully away from his Tissue Compression Eliminator. He thought that he could tinker with it for a bit, and then it would be back to normal. His luck was not with him today, but he hoped that he could manufacture some.
The Master crawled out of bed, careful to not wake you because of his restless mind. He quietly padded from your shared bedroom to his office, just outside the TARDIS console room, with his TCE and tools in hand.
You woke up cold and alone, but you were tucked up into your blankets with care. The Master did this often, sneaking off in the middle of the night to deal with his never-quiet mind, but he would always tuck you back into the blankets snuggly. He would teasingly say that he couldn’t have “his little Human getting a cold”, but it was clear that this was just his way of showing that he cared for you.
Despite what The Master would have wanted, you removed yourself from your cocoon of blankets and trudged to The Master’s office, where you knew he would be. You knocked on the door, but he didn’t answer. He was too busy going over mathematics, calculations and bits of engineering info in his head.
You quietly turned the doorknob and stepped into his office. The Master still didn’t notice you, so you prepared to speak out to him. Before you could make a sound, the TCE accidentally went off due to The Master fiddling with its interior wiring.
Being hit by the TCE ray surprisingly didn’t hurt, but it was uncomfortable. You felt small, now looking up at your now large surroundings and you felt much more solid than before. You also felt a bit nauseous and like you had a really bad strain in your neck. Though you couldn’t move more than a couple of millimetres, so there was nothing you could do about the discomfort in your stomach or neck. You wondered what this meant for you. Would you stay like this forever? Could The Master change you back? Would he even try, or would he just throw you away?
Your worried mind stopped turning when you saw The Master. He ran up to you and stared at you for a moment before picking you up in calloused hands. His eyes were sad but filled with confused happiness about the fact that you didn’t die.
“Can you hear me? Can you move? Blink twice if you can hear me.” His voice was frantic, and his eyes were wide with shock, but you managed to blink twice, causing The Master to breathe a sigh of relief. You tried to move again, and it was actually easier to move now. There was still a major restriction on your movement, but you could now speak, unlike before.
“I’m going to correct this, okay? I am not going to leave like this, my love.” He caressed a now giant thumb against your plastic face, wiping away a tear that somehow fell from your eye.
“I believe you, but what are we going to do until then? I’m scared about what is going to happen to me, Master!”
“I know, my love, but you will be safe with me.”
The Master placed you, gently, in the breast pocket of his jacket, as it was bigger on the inside and safe for you to be there, while he began to plan out a way to correct this. He already had plenty of ideas on how to do such a thing, but he figured that he might wait a bit.
He knew that he would change you back eventually, but he loved your dependence on him. Now that you were doll-like, you were fully dependent upon him. So, he might keep you in this state for a bit longer than necessary. You would never know, of course, so there would be no harm done if indulged in being in control. It would just be you and The Master doing everything for you and him keeping you with him at all times.

The Master was a fan of fine dining and loud demonstrations of wealth, as he always had been. He was used to that lifestyle, thanks to his parent's prestige and station on Gallifrey. Since the Time War and his banishment from his home planet, The Master obviously had to seek power in more manipulative ways and his ending up possessing wealth wasn’t always guaranteed.
The Master had schemed for years trying to gain a proficient foothold in the royal court of the Purpur galaxy. Now he was the king of his own planet and what else was there for him to do? Naturally, The Master went back to messing with The Doctor and this time, she had a companion The Master actually enjoyed. The Master kidnapped you and brought you to his kingdom in order to impress you in the best way he knew how: power and wealth. If The Master got you to fall in love with him that would be the ultimate slap in the face of The Doctor, and he would no longer be alone.
------------------------------------------------------------
You awoke in an extravagantly detailed lavender bedroom with gold filigree on the wall and dressed in the comfiest and most expensive-looking clothes you had ever seen, let alone worn. The last thing you remembered was fire and loud explosives and the hypnotic brown eyes, filled with desire and warmth, of a beautiful stranger.
You fumbled, panicked, out of the large bed you had woken up in and fell onto the floor, just as the said stranger walked through the door of the room. He offered you a good morning which you ignored. You had no idea what was going on.
“What is this place?”
“My kingdom. Specifically, my palace. You are safe here.” You finally took a proper look at the beautiful stranger. He looked so calm and friendly, but something felt off.
“You’re The Master, aren’t you?”
“So, The Doctor did mention me, I was hoping that she hadn’t.” The stranger, the Master, seemed put off by this information. He walked into the bedroom and closed the door behind himself. You clung onto the closest bedpost, filled with fear and confusion. If The Master was planning on hurting you, there was nowhere for you to go.
“The Doctor said that you were destitute and desperately destroying everything in your path in a vain attempt to feel something.”
“Maybe you should get to know me first and develop your own opinion of me, instead of solely listening to The Doctor.” The Master walked closer to you until he was directly across from where you were huddled on the floor. He then crouched down to look you in the eye.
“What do you want then? If torturing isn’t the plan for today.”
“I would like you to accompany me to the gathering I am hosting two evenings from now. In between now and then, you may do whatever you like as long as you don’t go contacting The Doctor or her little pets.”
“That’s it?” You were sceptical.
“Yeah, pretty much. Also, breakfast is ready if you would like something to eat. You must be exhausted, love.”
“I am pretty hungry.” You were pretty sure The Master had hypnotised you. There was plenty of evidence to suggest that. Your stomach growled and your head was heavy, and your body was weak.
“I can escort you. Or I can have a guard do that.”
“A guard, please.” The Master nodded, a little sadly, but accepted your request. He needed you to like him. If he moved too quickly or too controlling, you would never trust him.
“They will be up in a moment, love.” The Master stood up, walked to the door and bowed to you before leaving the bedroom to inform a guard that you would be needing their assistance.
------------------------------------------------------------
The breakfast was divine. As was every meal you consumed during your time at The Master’s palace. You were sceptical, of course, everything The Doctor had told you about The Master was that he could manipulate anyone in the most unique ways, and he already hypnotised you once, who said that he wouldn’t do it again? However, The Master just seemed to want to take care of you. He made sure that you ate proper meals, had relaxing baths with expensive soaps, and gifted you the finest clothes. The Doctor never seemed to care about those things. She always forgot when you and her other Human companions needed to eat or sleep and even though minimalism can be a fine aesthetic, The Doctor almost seemed to look down on you collecting various things from your adventures. In your few days with The Master, you had already collected a stack of books, various gemmed jewellery, and random alien artefacts that The Master gave you after explaining the story behind how he got them.
Tonight was the night of the ball. After dinner with The Master, you took a long bath before getting dressed for the party. When you exited the steamy bathroom, you saw a beautiful outfit laid out on your bed ready for you to wear. You got dressed in the majority of the clothes yourself, despite a couple of laces on the back. But then you heard a knock on the door which broke you out on your thoughts about how the night would unfold.
“Come in.” You heard the door to your bedroom open and shut and footsteps walking toward you. You knew that it was The Master. You tried to ignore his eyes on your back as you tried to tie the laces on your outfit.
“You look absolutely beautiful, love.” The Master finally spoke. He brought his hands up and tightened and tied the laces for you.
“Thank you for the outfit.”
“Of course. I’ve got to dress up someone as stunning as you in an extravagant outfit that could match your beauty.” The Master continued to tuck and pull and adjust your outfit until he seemed happy with it.
“There. You look perfect.” The Master smiled at you, then jolted as he remembered something.
“One last thing!” The Master pulled out a long cloak from his bigger on the inside pocket and draped it across you to where it was tied across your chest and the cloak was draped over your left shoulder.
“There. Now the outfit is complete. Are you ready for tonight?”
“As ready as I’ll ever be.” The Master took what he could get from you. He knew that getting you to love him was going to be a challenge, a challenge he was excited about. But he knew that you would fall for him. He could sense it. It would just take some time.
The Master escorted you from your bedroom to the upper level of the castle that led down to the ballroom. He then led you down the marble staircase with his gloved hand and showed you off to his rich guests. After greeting and meeting with some of the guests, The Master pulled you further into the ballroom and manoeuvred you, so your left hand was placed on The Master’s shoulder and your right hand was softly placed in his left hand. The Master then placed his right hand firmly on the small of your back and pulled you close to his chest.
You didn’t know how to respond to this. You were attracted to The Master, absolutely, but he was The Doctor’s enemy. He tried to hurt her, what if he tried to hurt you?
The Master guided you through the dance that you didn’t know. You tried your best, but even The Master’s firm grip on your body couldn’t always help you perform the dance properly.
Adding to your distractions was The Master himself. He was dressed in a tight dark purple suit with black and obsidian accents. You could smell the dark and hypnotic cologne he wore. And his eyes. They were always on you. Either staring into your eyes, ghosting over your body, or devouring your lips in his mind. It was mesmerizing having someone’s attention on you so intently. But then, as you stared back into The Master’s desire-filled eyes, you stumbled over The Master’s feet and fell into his strong arms.
“Easy there, love. I can’t have you falling for me so hard that I can’t reap the rewards later.” You didn’t even catch The Master’s insinuation until much after the fact.
“I’m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to dancing.” You stumbled again.
“Or the most skilful when it comes to balancing.”
“Luckily, I am here to guide you.” The Master winked at you and gripped your body tighter in order to have greater control of your movements.
The orchestra then began playing a softer, slower song. The Master leaned closer to your face. You could feel his hot breath on your cheek. It felt like he was wanting to kiss you. You knew that you weren’t ready for that, even though you were growing to like the alien. Instead, you leaned forward and rested your body against The Master’s. You felt his body tense, not in anger or rejection, but in shock. He assumed that you were going to deny his advances outright. The Master happily wrapped his arms around you and rested his head against yours. You could feel his strong arms continuing to guide you through the alien dance, preventing you from falling or stumbling again.
The rest of the night was similar to this and more fun than you had anticipated. You met tons of new people from dozens of planets that you had never heard of before, you had delicious alien foods and drinks, and The Master taught you so many new dances and caught you whenever you stumbled or wobbled, but eventually, the night had to end. After all of the guests either left for their own planets or went to their guest rooms for the night, The Master escorted you to your room.
“Thank you for accompanying me. This gathering would have been absolutely boring without you there.” You could feel The Master toying with the laces of your outfit playfully.
“It was a very fun night, Master. I’m not going to say thank you for kidnapping me, but I did have fun with you.” The Master smiled genuinely at you, but then his face became solemn and serious.
“Get some rest, love. I, unfortunately, have to take you back to The Doctor tomorrow and I assume she will exhaust with questions.” The Master took your face in his hands and kissed your forehead before turning away from you.
“Do you have to take me back?” You asked, surprising even yourself.
“I’ll kidnap you again soon.”
“Promise?”
“I promise.” The Master sent you a wink before entering the room across from yours. Was he staying in that room the entire time you had been here? Maybe you would have to pay The Master a visit in the middle of the night if you were unable to sleep.

You walked the few lonely steps back to The TARDIS and stepped inside, the machine’s comfort immediately washed over you. That is until the smell of expensive perfume and nail polish hit your nose. Your head jolted up and you instantly caught sight of someone who was not supposed to be there.
“Aren’t you supposed to be in The Vault?”
“Aren’t you supposed to be with the Doctor?” Missy immediately retorted, curt and cold in order to mask jealousy growing in her hearts. Her eyes flitted up from her nails to your face before eventually returning to decorate and perfect her nails.
“I thought you hated it when I paid more attention to the Doctor than I did you?” You hit the metaphorical nail on the metaphorical head with that question. You assumed to know how the Gallifreyian before you had felt, but your only “evidence”, if you could call it that, were glances thought to be unseen and “accidental” touches that lasted a second longer than they should have.
Missy fell silent after that, caught both physically and emotionally, which Missy, most definitely, did not enjoy, and you could see it, too. The silence between the two of you carried on for just a bit too long. Each passing second compromised Missy’s resolve, her jealousy inching ever closer to being visibly written on their face.
“The Doctor knows, don’t they?” Missy laughed at that comment, thinking you to be a naive child, but Missy was also grateful that you offered a window for her to put on a new mask before the silence ate away at her old one.
“Of course, he doesn’t know, Y/n! The Doctor is slower than he cares to admit, and he is growing even slower with age.” Missy whispered the last half of the statement with a hand raised to her mouth in an act mimicking schoolyard gossip.
“Trust me, The Doctor does not know.” She finished her statement triumphantly and matter-of-factly, her most commonly used facade restored. You huffed, hoping to discover something new about the Gallifreyan you travelled with. Now you were just bored. There would be no adventure with the Doctor today, it was too late to go running after him and you could feel the TARDIS urging you to stay. But you still wanted something interesting to happen, not a dry conversation with a teasing Time Lady.
“What are you planning on doing then, Missy?” You leaned against The TARDIS console nonchalantly.
“I was planning on going through The Doctor’s things, but now that you are here … We could always go on our own adventure without that stuffy old fool!”
“But what if The Doctor needs The TARDIS?” You questioned.
“You know how this machine works. We can go have ten adventures back-to-back and return here long before The Doctor even notices that we disappeared!” You thought about what Missy was offering you for a moment. You could see the hopefulness laced in the corner of her eyes, but you tried to ignore her and just think about what you wanted for once.
“I guess we can go somewhere, then. But nothing too dangerous, Missy!”
“I would never dream of putting you in harm's way, my darling.” Missy quickly slithered from her seat and strutted over to where you stood. She quickly and dramatically typed the coordinates of where she wished to go onto The TARDIS console system. While the two of you waited for the ship to travel through the time vortex and arrive at your desired destination, Missy made you dance with her. She kept a hand firmly on your lower back; you could feel her pulling you closer to you every now and again. Missy then spun you around a couple of times before dipping you and leaning in incredibly close to your face. Suddenly, a bell from the console chimed.
“Oh look! We’re here!” Missy popped up to a standing position, bringing you with her. Missy went to open the TARDIS doors, but before she did that, she spun you around in a circle and left you dizzy by the console.
“Well come on, you silly sausage! We haven’t got all day.” You rolled your eyes at the Time Lady’s antics and dashed up to her. Missy flirtily held out her arm for you to take so she could guide you around the planet. You took it but ignored her attitude. You just wanted to have fun today, and not think about any ulterior motives the Gallifreyian might have. Missy then happily led you around the planet she took you to, showing you all of the most popular sights and more. It was a wonderful day.
But eventually, the trip had to end, so Missy piloted the two of you back to The Doctor’s location. Missy hid herself away and The Doctor, Bill, and Nardole were none the wiser of your impromptu trip with the supposed to be imprisoned Time Lady. Maybe Missy could offer you much more than The Doctor ever could.
