Human with hairspray and a lighter joins in the destruction
(sorry if anyone has already brought this up)
so, aliens reacting to humans laughing at the wrong times/awkward situations.
but…
imagine humans laughing when they’re gonna absolutely fuck something up
Alien: It seems we are surrounded, by multiple weapons, and have a good chance of dying, what shall we do
Human (with a big bazooka or some deadly weapon): *cackling*
Alien: If I may ask, how is this situation comical
Human (still laughing): Because I’m about to fuck this shit up
Alien who has been around humans for a while: I suggest we all take cover immediately.
Me a genderfluid😊😄
be like Thor, be there to support your loved ones, accept who they are and celebrate them
this is so funny
to my War crimes question , i think the aliens would try to force us to get rid of our weapons , maybe even ban us from certain places and activitys until the humans start to revolt.
We as a race have a tendency to start revolutions if it get's bad enought , we also tend to unite if we have a common enemy.
Imagine the entier world united in an uprising against aliens trying to oppress us , and maybe we even get in contactg with another race with an similar history ?
Let's say there was this race of skilled warriors who got forced to lay down thier weapons because of others fearing them , and suddenly after years of humiliation there is this race of deathworlders going throught the same as them , only they rise up and contact them asking if they'd like to join.
And whats worse than humans getting angry ? Humans getting angry together with feared warriors.
And after this whole revolution thing aliens acctualy take a look at out history and realise ,,Fuck , this was a normal reaction from them''
YESSSSSSSSSS
This is really fun to think about.
So first off, apparently the other aliens in this world don’t have the same culture of preserving (or semi-preserving) and re-teaching history, so they didn’t go through the human’s history even though we tend to not hide most of it. Especially the revolutions. Those are talked about in history classes a lot. Also the fact that they didn’t know about war crimes adds to this idea.
Or, the other option, they just didn’t think looking at our history other than like the essential stuff (ex: war tactics, and other stuff) was important.
Either way these aliens were not well prepared for the situation that they thought they had control over. I just thought that was interesting.
This is a likely scenario especially considering the fact that we don’t know how other aliens would react to having weapons and military privileges revoked. It’s likely that this demilitarization worked for other violent races (the warrior species you were talking about), so they thought it would work for us as well.
This would be a really interesting story, considering it seems that there’s a lot of flaws in how the aliens handle things that they’re scared of/how they handle things in general.
It’s likely that the humans would join with the warrior species, and would see it as a really good opportunity.
And cus of the fierce packbonding, the humans and warrior species would probably stick together long after they fought the revolution. Maybe our cultures would combine?
That’s hard to say though as human cultures are really diverse, and it’s likely the warrior species would be as well.
The “oh fuck” moment is really good though. Because if they were just more organized, the aliens could have easily found a better way to fix the “hey I’m worried the humans might kill us” issue. And, if this is the first major revolution the galactic community has had, the humans could become even more terrifying, or could become a saving grace for a system that didn’t work. Or just… “hey remember that time the [insert your version of the galactic councils] tried to take away the humans’ weapons?” “Yeah they don’t do that anymore”.
HOWEVER
I do have a bit more I’d love to talk about.
What if humans don’t get along with the warrior species well?
Like humanity agrees to join forces, but our cultures and/or mannerisms do not mesh well at all.
So we’re working towards a common goal, but we don’t work together well. What would arise from that?
Say that we won the revolution, what would happen with the humans and the warrior race? Would a war start up between them? Would there be a constant tension as we both try to set up a new form of government or as we try to reform the old method of how the galactic community handled things?
What if we lost the revolution?
Would tensions get worse? Would humanity and the warrior species be forced to stay with each other as “punishment”?
This is a really cool continuation of the idea
A strange thing about Humans, hot anger vs. cold anger.
We all know what hot anger is. It's yelling, screaming, fighting, crying, explosive anger. The kind of anger you typically expect and encounter. It can be quite brutal and devastating. But in my experience, cold anger is much worse.
Cold anger is calm, quiet, and unforgiving. It carries the force of a glacier carving a path through the mountains. The void you are left with after a person becomes cold angry is more emotionally impactful than 10 times their hot anger towards you.
As humans this is something I think most of us have encountered, both feeling the temperature change in our selves or from others. But imagine what our alien counterparts might think when one of their friends/co-workers goes from being hot to cold.
Blame this guy named tony for this ok😭
With all the events going on recently I think it’s time to post this image againbc i’m tired of this shit
