I have been thinking about this and realised that we don't actually have a deva or devi for beauty. People think it is Mata Lakshmi but it's not true. None of her Ashtalakshmi forms also have her represent beauty. Mata

The sibling pairs have different skin colours — Vishnu-Parvati are dark skinned, Shiv-Saraswati are fair skinned, Brahma-Lakshmi are golden skinned — and all of them are called beautiful.

So where does this concept of beauty even come from? That fair is beautiful and dark skinned is not? Does it come from the west? From goddesses like Aphrodite, Venus or Freya? Or were they also made to represent beauty in the modern world to suit white people's beauty standards?

already pakistan and its terrorist supporters have tried to mediaplay themselves as the victims of india when time and time again pakistani homegrown terrorists have attacked indians and hindus particularly. they show up in crowds of thousands for funerals of terrorists. their own celebrities are pushing terrorist propaganda on social media and threatening to shoot any indian.

what it comes down to is an innate hatred of hindus, the same hatred that fueled pahalgam. that is why pakistani armed forces once again killed innocent indians in J&K today - they don't give a fuck about kashmiris they just want their land and power to grow more terrorists. the same country that gave osama bin laden a home denies 24x7 that they do not harbor any terrorists when multiple sources including UN and USA have identified hundreds. the mumbai attack perpetrators still roam freely in pakistan. balochistan everyday is fighting back against them. they have killed hundreds of afghani children and women. they have wiped out sikh and hindu minorities from pakistani controlled lands. anyone who supports their cowardice and fuels islamic rhetoric against hindus and india is disgusting. they are not the victims but the perpetrators of violence.

I might be too late to comment on this.

So yes Operation Sindoor was a success. It was a feat.

But the moment some fools in India came to know Col. Sofiya Qureshi was amongst the 2 women who led this, all of them started reducing her to just her religious identity. I even heard someone say "it must be intentional because the terrorists attacked based on religion" what if it's not. What if she was chosen because she could lead it. Not because of some DEI points either.

Let's not promote the same thing we stand against.

Dude maybe stop projecting

this hinduphobia gang is so stupid its unreal because what the actual fuck do you mean that 'caste violence is an accepted fact' WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU ACCEPT SOMETHING SO INHUMAN.

atrocities are happening in YOUR NAME. people of your religion are commintting it, and you think its enough for you to just accept it?

this is fucking privilege. you think you get to stay passive while people are killed, raped, displaced, and tortured because of a centuries-old system that was designed to maintain your comfort and power?

if you really cared about people slandering your religion, maybe start with the people within it who are using it as a tool to dehumanise. maybe fix that first. maybe stop crying “hinduphobia” every time someone points out the rot.

We have a family from UP doing "Shiv charcha" today and I can't get enough of it🥰😇

They've called all families in our society who are from UP and everyone's singing bhajans and kirtans in bhojpuri and awadhi. By everyone, I mean, it's all the women. My mother's also there. And hearing it all feels so good. It is because it's quite rare that this kind of event happens. And yeah connecting to the language is an added benefit here.

Does anyone know what a "Shiv charcha" is though?

Okay so I don't know which story you're referring to. So I'll just talk about both:

1. The Tridev take birth as Anusuya's sons

So Mata Anusuya was known for her divine powers and her wisdom and knowledge. Her husband was Rishi Atri. The Tridev once decided to test Mata Anusuya. They appear before her under the guise of rishis and ask her to serve them with zero clothes on her because they had taken a vow or something. Now, Anusuya ofcourse couldn't serve them that way, she's a pativrata and sati. So, she with her divine powers turns them into children and serves them food. And at some point during this whole exchange, she realises that they are the Tridev. And she refuses to turn them back in their actual selves. The Tridevi ofcourse had to intervene requesting Mata Anusuya to give them their husbands back. So, Mata Anusuya then asks for a boon that let the Tridev be born to me as sons. And the Tridev and the Tridevi all bless her with this boon. So yeah, that's how Shiv ji was born as Rishi Durvasa, Vishnu ji as Rishi Datt, and Brahma as Chandra.

2. About the siblings pairs

So we know Adi shakti is the primordial goddess in Hinduism (I'm a Shakti worshiper first and so I believe in that, Shaivs and Vaishnavs have their own beliefs). So, this goddess is formless, she's just a huge ball of energy. She divides this energy into 3 parts. Sattva - Maha Saraswati, Rajas - Maha Lakshmi, and Tamas - Maha Kaali. These goddesses then further created 2 beings each. Maha Saraswati - Vishnu and Gauri, Maha Lakshmi - Brahma and Lakshmi, and Maha Kaali - Shiv and Saraswati.

So No One Ever Told Me About Ram Ji Roasting The Moon And Listing It Faults Because It's Just Not As
So No One Ever Told Me About Ram Ji Roasting The Moon And Listing It Faults Because It's Just Not As

So no one ever told me about Ram ji roasting the moon and listing it faults because it's just not as beautiful as Maa Sita after looking at her once in the gardens? No one?

And then he just returned to his Guru like nothing happened? As if he didn't just talk to the moon and insult it?

I generally prefer Valmiki Ramayan but the Balkand in Ramcharitmanas is pure gold.

Shoot us and then offer free food to get rid of the guilt or the bad karma. Those are the same hands that pulled the trigger and those are the hands that are not cutting fruits for you.

Oh but don't you know, they're allowed to make such statements. You know because they've been oppressed and their voices have been suppressed for far too long :( :( :(

Btw this is happening in a “Hindu majority country”
