Guys, I can't believe my affirmations . I feel pain in my chest when I say them, and I don't know what exactly the problem is. Am I saying them wrongly, or do I lack faith? Can anyone tell me what to do?

Because there is no reality independent of the mind. If you THINK that your unwanted situation is the TRUTH and your desired reality is simply “thought” or “affirmation” then you will loose.

your state is what manifests, not your thoughts.
this has become a very inflammatory sentence for some, but it shouldn't be scary. states simplify manifestation, it doesn't complicate it.
at the beginning of my loa journey, i would affirm alllll day long. while watching tv, while reading, while hanging out with my friends. and by the logic of "your dominant thoughts manifest," i should've gotten my manifestations after only a few days of that. but i didn't, because dominant thoughts aren't what manifests, it's your state that manifests.
you are not a state. you are I Am, and you enter in and out of states all day long. there is an infinite number of states, and no one experiences states the same way. so even if two people are manifesting the same thing (for example, money), the State of Being Rich will probably look different for both of them. so there's really no one specific way a state should look/feel!
because there are an infinite number of states you can occupy, right now you have the power to be rich, just as much as you have the power to be poor. it is just as easy to occupy the state of being rich as it is the state of being poor. you are both of these things, and you know that you are both of these things because you can imagine being both of these things, and everything stems from your imagination.
the state that you consistently go to, also known as your dwelling state, is the state that manifests into your 3d reality.
you switch states simply by intending to. the second you want to switch states, you do. in order to maintain this new state, you can use a technique such as affirming, scripting, or visualizing.
let's talk about affirming.
affirming is a TECHNIQUE. some people argue that since affirmations are just thoughts, you can never stop affirming and should be monitoring your thoughts all day long. i do not agree with this.
your thoughts do not manifest. it's why i spent my time from summer 2020-summer 2021 affirming on a constant loop 24/7 that i was in a relationship with my [old] sp, and it never manifested. it's why when you get intrusive thoughts they don't manifest. it's why--even tho every time you go to the bathroom you check behind the shower curtain in case something's there--nothing ever is. it's also why you were able to manifest something by thinking you wanted it once.
you do not need to "create new neural pathways" or think in your favor 24/7. your negative thoughts act as indicators that you fell out of your desired state, and you can instantly correct this by shifting back to the state of the wish fulfilled. you don't even need to flip the thought. your thoughts have no power, unless you give them power by allowing them to let you wallow in the state of lack.
all that being said, affirmations can help you maintain your desired state. i say maintain, because getting into the state is instant, and requires no technique. however, there is such thing as affirming from lack.
what is affirming from lack? it's affirming to get what you want. it's affirming from a state of not having your desire. it's the same as thinking of your desire, instead of thinking from your desire.
a few months ago, the 10k challenge was going around. it was marketed as a fool-proof way to get your manifestation, because all you had to do was "affirm 10k times to create a new neural pathway which created an assumption." yet so many people affirmed 10k+ times and still didn't get their desire. why? because they were affirming from lack.
quality > quantity. you can affirm 10k times and not get your desire, because you weren't in your desire state. you can affirm once and get your desire, because you were in the state.
so how do you not affirm from lack?
an easy way is to pay attention to your affirmations. mindless affirming is out! this shouldn't be a scary thing to hear, because as we discussed, there's no need for you to affirm 5 million times in order to reach some imaginary quota, because your thoughts don't manifest.
affirm with purpose! create an affirmation that implies you already have your desire, and repeat it with the purpose of conjuring the feeling of knowing. the feeling of knowing may feel like calm, peace, relief, contentment, or even excitement. when Neville Goddard said "feeling is the secret," this is the feeling he was talking about, NOT emotions.
if your affirmations are making you feel anxious, this can indicate one of two things:
affirming is not the technique for you (which is OKAY!!)
you're affirming to get
"affirming to get" is a big debate as well. yes, you are manifesting your desire because you want to get it in your 3D. but in order to get it in your 3D, you must change your 4D first. so you should be using techniques such as affirming in order to change your 4D, knowing that if you change your 4D, your 3D will follow. there is no one to change but self.
if affirming is not the technique for you, there is always visualizing, scripting, vaunting, etc.
also the distraction technique, my fav way to get into the state of the wish fulfilled! hehe
to sum it up:

you should still be persisting in the fact that you already have your desire. you persist by consistently shifting back to your desired state, no matter what you see in the 3D.
reacting to the 3D, like negative thoughts, is an indicator that you have slipped from your desired state.
it can be very beneficial for you to have self-soothing tactics to use in case your 3D causes you to spiral or makes you anxious. these can include eft tapping, breathing exercises, etc.
your 3D is malleable. if you see something in your 3D that you don't like, you can change it. your 3D is simply a reflection of your dwelling state. if you don't see what you want in your 3D, let it serve as a reminder to shift your state back to your desired state. once again, you change your 4D to change your 3D. there is no one to change but self.
question: if you can affirm to get into a state, doesn't that mean your thoughts create your state and that your thoughts technically manifest?
answer: WRONG! like i've mentioned earlier in this post, you enter a state by intention. affirming can help you maintain the state, but your thoughts do not create your state. your state creates your thoughts. every state has thoughts that correspond with it, which is why can manufacture affirmations that imply you already have your desire and repeat them to conjure the feeling of knowing. it's also why negative thoughts act as indicators that you fell out of the state.
question: isn't that the same as someone saying "just assume?"
answer: NO! there are techniques to help you maintain the state. yes entering a state is instant, but there are techniques for you to use to stay in it.
question: are states ableist?
answer: NO!!!! this is something that people are saying on loatwt in order to villainize the people who teach states, and it's frankly disgusting. ANYONE can get into a state, even if they are neurodivergent! you are always in a state! you're in a state right now. i am neurodivergent, as are most of my friends that are states enthusiasts, and it has helped all of us to manifest our desires without driving ourselves to mental exhaustion by affirming 24/7.
question: how long do i have to stay in the wish fulfilled?
answer: it's not so much about how long you stay in the state, it's about frequency. no, not frequency as the law of attraction vibration bullshit, but how often you go back to the state. if you think about your desire 15 times a day, you should shift back into the state 15 times that day. if you think about your desire 5 times, then you should shift back into the state 5 times that day.

you’re so scared to take a leap of faith and manifest, you’re staying in the same spot. it’s all about courage and going all in with nothing to lose because you actually don’t have anything to lose. that’s about it. this applies to any situation whether it be an abusive one or something not as dire.

Listen up, my loves... this is really the key to living an ecstatic, fulfilled life where all your dreams come true!!!
You have to realize 4D is part of your real life.
If something happened in your 4D (imagination), then it truly happened... it REALLY happened. Because you EXPERIENCED it. The time you take to imagine something is real time. It wasn't "special 4D time" where time doesn't pass. If you started imagining something at 4:00 and finished at 4:15, bringing your awareness back to 3D, it will be 4:15. Therefore, is that imagining not happening in your real life? Of course it is, it can't happen anywhere else.
Let's say you imagine a scene with your SP for 15 minutes. You were living your life in those 15 minutes. That was your real life. You were experiencing an experience in real time, in your real life. You didn't leave your "real life" behind for 15 minutes. That WAS part of your REAL life. That was an experience you had.
The problem is that most people will daydream and then snap out of it and think, "Oh, that wasn't real. That was just my imagination." Excuse me? Where were you just now? In somebody else's body, living someone else's life? Or were you still YOU, in your body, living your life, passing your time?
If you think of imagination as "not real" then you are telling your mind not to print that out in your 3D. That print job has now been cancelled. It will instead sort through your thoughts and display into your 3D the ones that you deem "real". It will filter out your desire-fulfilling daydreams (because you think they're fake) and instead show you other things that you think about that you believe are real (mostly the crap you don't want but "think" is real).
That is why people experience 4D and 3D separately. They experience imagination as a fake escape and 3D as reality, and their dreams don't come true in the physical realm because they think one is real and one is fantasy. They struggle with "trying" to manifest and continue to fail to see their imagination become physical because they aren't accepting imagination as real TOO.
I don't believe 4D is your only reality, like some people say, because 3D is real too. Anywhere you are is your reality. 4D and 3D are equally real. You are experiencing both of them, so they have to both be real. 3D is just a replay where you get to experience things AGAIN.
You are here to experience BOTH 3D AND 4D! (Obviously, because we do!) We have both imagination and physical bodies! There is nothing wrong with wanting your 4D imaginings to replicate in the 3D. That is why we have human bodies! I am not telling you to forget about the 3D and live solely in the 4D. We have 5 senses to experience physical pleasure through them! So you ARE meant to experience ALL of your wildest dreams in the 3D too!
(Like you are crazy if you think I'm not getting my kisses and squeezes from my SP happening to my physical body - because that's why I have a body - to experience physical pleasure with it (eating delicious food, seeing gorgeous sights, smelling wonderful scents, listening to beautiful music, feeling pleasurable physical affection, etc.!)
I am not telling you to forget wanting things in the 3D! But you do have to acknowledge that what you experience in 4D is JUST AS REAL as what you experience in 3D because it was really you living that! Those 15 minutes were real, they were spent doing something, how is that not real? Nothing you do can be fake!!! You can't escape living, so whatever you do during your time here on Earth is REAL.
So you can never lack what you want. Whatever you desire, give it to yourself immediately. Your desires are meant to be felt and immediately fulfilled. You are not meant to be walking around wishing you had things. You are meant to experience fulfilled desire after fulfilled desire. You're not supposed to accumulate desires so they're all piled up and you're feeling heaps of lack.
Never go to sleep with unfulfilled desires. Whatever you want to have happened that day (whether you just didn't get it or you got the opposite), give it to yourself in imagination until you feel you really experienced it. Don't do it to manifest it in 3D. Do it to experience it in your life. Sometimes it will manifest into 3D and sometimes it won't. If you do it right you will know, because it won't matter to you whether it appears in 3D anymore because you will have satisfied that desire already. You will feel like you already experienced it (because you did!) and you will no longer feel that it hasn't happened yet, because you remember it happening!
Stop trying to manifest things in 3D, and start giving yourself everything you want in your imagination. There is nothing stopping you from living your wildest dreams. Nothing is impossible to you in your imagination. Don't condition your desires, just go into your imagination and give yourself all of your desires. Do it whenever a desire springs up. Get so good at it that your whole life is made up of fulfilling your heart's desires as soon as they come upon you.
You can always control what you think about. So when you think of something you want, imagine getting it exactly how you want to. And when you have fully experienced it, it will then become a MEMORY, not a desire!
The goal is to have NO unfulfilled desires, because you should be fulfilling them as soon as they come to you. You will lead such a magical inner life. Your 3D can ONLY show you the contents of your consciousness... so soon enough, you will be seeing your 3D transform into a fairy tale of your own making. If ALL you think about, all you imagine, is experiencing your fulfilled desires, then that's ALL your 3D can show you. You are giving it no other options!
You no longer have to "try" to live in the end for each of your desires to "try" to manifest them. You will be living in the end of ALL of your desires, every single one, big or small, at all times! That will just be how you automatically live your whole life.
Do not deny yourself ANYTHING. Whatever you want, you can have. There are NO limitations to your imagination. Do NOT hold back. I'll say it again. DO NOT HOLD BACK. Do not limit your imagination to what you think is likely or possible. You know what you want. Your desires come to you in the perfect condition. Do not change your desires to what your current 3D implies is possible. YOU decide what is possible. Dream your wildest dreams. If you can think it, if you can desire it, then you can fulfill it in your imagination. And if you flood your imagination with nothing but fulfilled desires, and you KNOW your 4D experiences are real, then your 3D will have no choice but to show you fulfilled desires in your physical realm.
I swear to god if I wrote all this out and y'all don't start living the lives of your dreams...

hey angel, of course, so i did what @blushydior did and basically had notes and stickers around the apartment to keep me going like "your almost there" or "affirm now" something like that, I affirmed 50x every hour every day vaunted x3 every 30 mins, and lived in the end for about 10 mins a day (by the 2nd day i could already live in the end for the whole day) so on the 2nd day from when i woke up, i acted like i had my dream life, I lived in the end for the entire day
when i woke up the next morning i was in a totally new apartment (didn't manifest any physical appearance changes since i don't think i'm ugly nor do i hate myself) everything was different, my bed, my room, my closet etc. I also had a totally different mindset (i didn't think of any TW: suicidal thoughts or negative thoughts) my toxic family member was caring, loving and supportive, I had a modelling career, could play a ton of sports, instruments etc.

Do we need to repeat affs
You can use other techniques like visualisation/ sats, you don’t NEED to repeat affirmations. There are other techniques you can do as well. But repeating affirmations is the most popular technique i think? It’s easy because you can do it wherever and whenever you want and it always brings results too like the other methods. You use affirmations to change your mindset and thought pattern, your subconscious absorbs affirmations like a sponge. So i recommend repeating affirmations if you can hardly visualise or do other methods. But you never have to stick to only one method you can manifest however you want. Repeating affirmations can be no fun if you:
- repeat affirmations to GET a manifestation [not to change your mindset]
Affirm for sth once and your subconscious instantly absorbs the affirmation!! -> it’s done in your 4D and with persistence you’ll see it materialised in your 3D
- feel the need to affirm 24h (obsess)
You only repeat affirmations to remind yourself that you already have what you want. You don’t have to remind yourself every minute of the day, but when you think of your desire you could repeat it a few times. Or every hour for 5 mins or every 2 hours for 10 minutes you can repeat your affirmations. Also before sleeping and right after waking up. You don’t even have to!! But you can to change your mindset asap.
When affirming feels draining and like no fun, then maybe your affirming to see something in your outer world and not to change your mindset. That’s a mistake!! If you do feel like this then go back to the basics of the law.

3 day manifestation
In lesson 3, neville is confident that it takes no longer than 3 days to manifest your desires into your 3D.
“Three days; the duration is three days for response in this world. If I would now assume I AM what I want to be, and if I AM faithful to it and walk as though I were, the very longest stretch given for it’s realization is three days.” - Neville Goddard
once you decide you are who you want to be, or have what you want, staying faithful and loyal to that will guarantee that the manifestation comes into fruition within 3 days.
“If I could completely saturate my mind with one sensation and walk as though it were already a fact, I am promised that I do not need more than a three day diet if I remain faithful to it. But I must be honest about it. If I Change my diet in the course of the day, I extend the time interval.” -Neville Goddard
so in this quote, neville is talking about the process of the 3 days. basically, if you soak your mind with the corresponding thoughts (affirmations) and persist, 3 days is all you need to see it in the 3D. however, during those 3 days, if you waiver, repeat the old story, dwell in doubts or intrusive thoughts, the days will be extended. that’s what neville means by “If I change my diet in the course of the day.” and by diet he means mental diet.
1. decide what it is that you want. this can be one thing or a list of things.
2. choose affirmations that correlate with your manifestation

3. repeat these affirmations all day
3. repeat these affirmations all day
repeating, will saturate your mind with this new idea. and it will start to become a natural thought.
4. do not waiver, repeat the old story, doubt. anytime you feel the urge to, repeat those affirmations until it’s stuck.
5. and by day 3 (or within 3 days), you will have your manifestation, if and only if you did not dwell in the old story.
*i also want to say real quick that if you do get doubts, intrusive thoughts, or repeat the old story, as long as you do not dwell in that, and immediately change that thought you’ll be good. so don’t worry so much about having those thoughts, worry about correcting them*
this post is no different than any other telling you to persist. cause that’s all this is.. persisting. and i’ve seen all the “i am persisting” “i’ve been persisting for weeks” however, the reason many of y’all don’t see your results is bc while you were so called persisting you let all types of contradicting thoughts pass by and you dwell’d in them. stop doing that!
soooo.. saturate your mind with affirmations, correct any opposing thoughts, and persist/live in the end.
for 3 days. if you really want your desire, you’ll STAND TF UP, and persist for just 3 days!
Self Concept
It’s important that you have good self concept because it can drastically change things! It is how you and others view you. For example, you think you’re dumb? Then you’re dumb. You think you’re smart? Then you’re smart. Working on it can improve what you think about yourself which is very important when manifesting. There are so many things you can gain from working on it such as: Getting rid of limiting beliefs, confidence, stop spiraling, or even the world around you changing! So change how you view yourself.
You can affirm, command your subconscious, use subliminals, etc. I personally like to affirm while listening to songs that I enjoy listening to or make me feel confident. Here is an amazing post of self concept songs to listen to make you feel like the baddest biss. Credits to dreamgIrIsworld!!
