today with the void state i just decided to let go and just affirm calmly every once in a while and i'm soing a lot betterrrr
when my body gets all light and floaty and tingly, i gently affirm 'i am pure consciousness, aware with intention' and my heart starts RACINGGG
and then it goes back to normal π this happens to me now about ten times per session for the last two mornings and nights
i am ignoring the heartbeats but it grounds me back to deep relaxation, is it just a case of getting used to the floaty state or should i power through it??

not even power through it, but really, heartbeat acts like you're running a marathon, be delusional and stare into the blackness going "ooo didn't know black was a colorrr"
Ik this sounds so stupid but really, go past it without pressuring yourself to go past it, yk? Act like it's so normal, like "oh yeah this goes in a minute, it's just my body acting up to new shits ig"
Or if it is REAAALLLY bothering you try this trick I found:
Count through each heartbeat.
No literally, it calms it down so quick, but that's just my personal experience, either way GOOD LUCK MWAH MEAH MWAH
Do you have any advice on what to do if I can't fall asleep while doing SATS? It worked once for me but when I focus on things like visualization or affirmations before sleep it keeps me awake. I feel like this method would get me into the void if I could actually fall asleep with it.

first, Stop trying to fall asleep
The biggest block is often this mindset: βI have to fall asleep for it to work.β
Nuh uh, you donβt. The power of SATS is in reaching the drowsy, floaty, surrender state, not sleep itself.
If you get there and hold your scene or affirmations gently, even if you stay awake, it still works.
Now another thing is to do it in the middle of the night when you wake up and go back to sleep immediately, you're already in the half asleep state so this is a game changer.
hiii!! this is my first time on tumblr LMAO anyways could you explain how the void feels like? like ive learnt a lot about it (smh i study shifting more than i actually shiftπππ) but ive never gone into it yet, also could you explain the hypnogogic state vs the void state because i thought the hypnogogic is the state ur in right before you sleep where your mind and body are both on the verge of sleeping (idk if that makes sense sorry if it doesnt) and void state is your body being asleep but mind being awake but i saw in your posts and some others that the the hypnogogic state is right before the void? so im just confused about that, thank you!!

So, the void feels like nothing and everything at once, pure blackness once you enter, no sound, no touch, no breathing felt, nothing, nothing heard, nothing seen, nothing at all, it is usually accompanied by a great feeling of peacefulness since it's your natural state, you'll feel floaty, or spinning when entering, a sucking feeling or a magnetic feel by your face (my personal symptom)
Now, the hypnagogic state:
A state between sleep and wakefulness, imagery here are high and you may see visions and colors dancing in front of your eyelids, it's NOT the void but can be easily used to enter the void through it, it's a dreamy and trippy feeling ngl, your body naturally goes in this state right before sleeping and usually we don't grasp it because our mind usually falls asleep sooner than reaching it, but once aware in this state, it's such a powerful state to enter the void through.
And yes, the HYPNAGOGIC state is right before the void IF YOU MANAGE NOT TO SLEEP.

Now the void? It's a state where your consciousness is PURELY detached from reality (hypnagogic state still has your consciousness tethered to this reality, it just makes your mind more vulnerable to obey commands)
It's a state where nothing exists because you are back to the original state of life, it's pure stillness and no matter how much you "look" around, you feel like you're floating and you feel like it's a vacant space of joy and happiness.
Through hypnagogia, you can actually just lay still in that state and wait for every vision and imagery to get out of the way and you'll immediately get in the void naturally on its own, that's how easy it is.

*.ΛΛΛ DEILD- The Quickest And Easiest Method To Lucid Dream That I know Β΄ΛΛ.*
Listennnn, I love the lucid dream method down. It is AND ALWAYS WILL BE my favorite way to shift, apart from the void state.
BUT I know I cannot be the only one struggling to get lucidπ©π At least I used to struggle before I found DEILD. I found other techniques tedious, having to do constant reality checks during the day felt like a chore and lying completely still in bed for 30+ minutes waiting for my body to fall asleep was quite literally torture to me. IF I could stay awake through it because most times I couldnβt or just rolled over and gave up because nothing was happening and I was trΓ¨s uncomfortable.
Iβve tried mild, SSILD, fild, ALL THE βILDSβ every single one and while they are effective, Iβve finally found the technique that works best for me and takes the least amount of time so I thought I would share, just in case it may help someone else!
With this technique youβ¦..
Go from being awake directly into a lucid dream without falling asleep (this is called a wake initiated lucid dream and in my experience I feel more aware and in control with these vs when I randomly become aware in the middle of my dream. They are also easier to remember if you have poor dream recall. )
Are able to start the lucid dream scene in the privacy of your own room so you donβt have to worry about trying to shift in the middle of distracting dream scenes or dealing with distracting dream characters
You can save a Lucid dream thatβs been cut short or even have several lucid dreams in one night using this method
Donβt need to do reality checks during the day if you donβt want to or do any other daytime prep
The whole thing takes 10-30 seconds START TO FINISH!
The techniqueβ¦
Stepsβ¦
Before bed set the intention that when you wake up you will immediately remember to perform DEILD
Set a touchless alarm to wake you up anywhere from 3-6 hours after falling asleep. I like this one! Maybe put it in a playlist with a lucid dreaming subliminal or theta waves set to play after the alarm goes off to boost your chances of becoming Lucidπ
Go to bed as normal. As I fall asleep I like to imagine myself waking up to the alarm and successfully performing DEILD. Then I imagine myself successfully entering the void from the LD and then successfully waking up in my wr. I loop this sequence until I fall asleep. I do this to help me remember to do the technique the second I wake up, but it is not at all necessary.
Immediately upon waking and hearing the alarm, I try to remember to stay still and not open my eyes. Minimal movement is fine, but weβre trying to convince our body that weβre still asleep! The alarm will shut off on its own.
Wait for what feels like 10 seconds without actually counting (Again, you donβt want to activate your Brain and wake yourself up too much )
After it feels like 10 seconds have gone by, do a reality check like the nose pinch test EVEN IF YOU FEEL WIDE AWAKE and donβt think you could possibly already be back asleep in only 10 seconds. Most of the time youβll already be in what is called a false awakening-when you think youβre awake in bed but youβre actually dreaming
If you were able to breathe through your closed nose you are now in a lucid dream starting out in your room. You can proceed to shift to your dr in any way you like-some of my go toβs are:
-creating a portal
-entering the void and shifting from there
-entering the astral realm and shifting from there
-waking myself up from the dream but intending to wake up in my dr not my cr
Editors note:
If when you do the nose pinch test, you are still awake, repeat step 6 up to 2 more times. If by this point, you still have not entered a lucid dream, it is best to go back to bed and try again the next time you wake up. This method is very effective but fragile, as it is best performed in that very small hypnopompic window right when you are teetering on the edge of awake and asleep.
Why this method worksβ¦
When you wake up from sleep and donβt move or open your eyes, it tricks your body into thinking that youβre still asleep and it puts you back in a dream, even though your mind is actually awake! This is why a touchless alarm is helpful, or you can use natural awakenings.
Troubleshooting the methodβ¦
The hardest part about this method is remembering to stay still as soon as you wake up.
You can set the intention to remember to do so before bed
You can also use prospective memory training during the day (every time you look in a mirror/ drink something/ plug in your phone/ enter a different room etc you can affirm βthe next time I wake up I will immediately remember to perform DEILDβ )
And if you move by mistake or have to use an alarm that needs manually turned off, all is not necessarily lost. itβs still worth trying anyway as long as you think youβll be able to fall back asleep! Just wait 30 seconds instead of 10 before doing a reality check and consider using an anchor to help keep you focused and awake (could be focusing on the sound of the subliminal if you made a playlist, or the sound of a fan etc)
TLDR OF THE TECHNIQUE:
Wake up either naturally or to a touch-less alarm. If you must use a manual alarm, keep movement minimal as to not activate your brain too much.
Lie still with your eyes closed and keep a blank mind for 10-30 seconds
Do a reality check to see if you are lucid dreaming

No, really, you have to be in a trance state first of all, and forcing it is NOT the key.
Visualizing sounds hard? Simply assume your fingers will move on it's own.
And methods always work unless you think otherwise, but it's not about how much you try and then wait around for the results, it's how you try and already know it has worked.
