Scenario:  The  receiver  sleepily  admits  their  love  for  the  sender.

Prompt:  The  sender  and  receiver  exchange  vows  of  devotion  under  the  moonlit  sky.

Scenario:  The  receiver  places  a  sword  (perhaps  a  family  heirloom)  into  the  sender's  hands.

Prompt:  Sender  and  receiver  stroll  through  the  castle  gardens.

Scenario:  A  moment  of  quiet  reflection  where  they  pause  to  admire  the  blooming  flowers  only  a  shared  silence  falling  between  them.

Prompt:  Sender  and  receiver  share  a  private  conversation  in  the  royal  hall  by  a  cackling  fireplace.

Scenario:  They  exchange  looks  of  longing  as  they  walk  side  by  side.

Prompt:  The  sender  is  drawn  to  the  receiver  in  the  garden,  who  is  practicing  magic. 

Scenario:  The  receiver  teaches  the  sender  a  new  spell  or  speaks  to  them  of  a  magic  they  do  not  know.  A  gentle  hand  touch  as  the  receiver  helps  the  sender  practice.

Prompt:  The  sender  and  receiver  share  a  quiet  moment  in  the  stables  as  they  prepare  to  ride  their  horses.

Scenario:  The  receiver  helps  tend  to  the  horses  as  their  hands  brush  gently  with  the  sender’s  as  they  work  in  silence.

Prompt:  Sender  and  receiver  meet  beneath  the  ancient  oak  tree  since  a  long  while.  Exchanging  information  of  both  their  kingdoms  and  war  impending. 

Scenario:  The  receiver  confides  in  the  sender  and  all  the  while  they  hold  hands  for  comfort  and  reassurance.

Prompt:  The  sender  and  receiver  share  a  private  dance  in  a  grand  hall  of  sorts. 

Scenario:  In  the  quiet  between  songs  the  sender  declares  their  love  for  the  receiver  in  a  small  whisper.

Prompt:  The  sender  and  receiver  sit  beside  a  moonlit  pool,  the  stars  shimmering  above  them.

Scenario:  The  receiver  gently  takes  the  sender’s  hand  and  whispers  something  in  their  ear.

Scenario:  With  a  breathless  sigh,  the  sender  admits  their  true  feelings  to  the  receiver.

LIPS PART, THEN CLOSE IN THE SAME SECOND — hesitation, tactful restraint; then a touch of condescending bemusement that turns the corners of her mouth. half - frown, half - smile & a glance away that is almost a roll of her eyes. what hope is there? even elethea could hardly see it. it had been fear, not hope that had kept her alive thus far. fear and anger. any hope she had dared to harbor had been swiftly cut down & stamped out at every turn. other such vitriolic cynicism sits on her tongue, bitterly acidic and swiftly swallowed. it is an endearingly naive sentence bred from the same mind that believed a dream to be a message from the maker. but she cannot doubt the existence of hope — not when she is meant to be the one they look to for guidance & inspiration. if the leader of their doughty, hopeless band of misfits did not have hope in their cause, then why should any of they? "you sound so sure, leliana," a vague hand gestures to the sorry scene before them, the tension which hung over the city so thick one could choke on it. she had never seen denerim so still.
