Ryan wanting Josh to go to his farewell party so badly. Dude looks up to him and I wouldn’t mind a return of Ryan Pierce if they did a reboot
And then he just comes in a hands Josh his ass in his first meeting in his new job
I watched a film the other day and it was pretty much bonkers but, as far as I could tell, there were no fics for it on AO3. What a burden I must bear.
I love that no matter the scenario, mayor Lewis will be defeated.
Stardew Valley x The West Wing is legit one of the most INTRIGUING ideas I have ever heard. And I want to watch it.
Right????? I already have one Stardew AU wip sitting on my drive, but I'm not NOT tempted to start another one...
(cut for unexpectedly lengthy thoughts)
But why would the Bartlets move to Pelican Town when they already own a lovely farm in Nashua, you ask? I don't know and it doesn't matter. Maybe the MS diagnosis happens years earlier, and Jed never goes into politics (UNTIL COMPELLED TO DESTROY MAYOR LEWIS), and Abby decides to spend a year doing rural medicine. Or, oh, maybe they don't meet at Notre Dame after all, and priest!Jed takes over a backwater parish and meets struggling doctor Abby (SV: religious angst version)
Take it a different direction, and what if Josh takes a post-shooting sabbatical for his physical/mental health? He's determined to stay out of politics, he has this farm in his family, and next thing you know he's screaming at Toby about incompetent corrupt mayoral leadership and the staff descends en masse to see what Josh's gotten himself into. OR MAYBE IT'S DONNA'S HOMETOWN (what, Wisconsin can be on the ocean if I want it to be).
AND THEN MAYOR LEWIS IS PUBLICALLY HUMILIATED AND LEAVES TOWN IN SHAME (extremely important).
I'm currently reading "The Universal Translator" by Yens Wahlgren.
This is the first non-fiction book I've genuinely enjoyed. There have been points where I have laughed or chuckled because it's just so fun.
This is a book about made-up langauges, known as conlangs. This means it covers everything from history's very first conlangs to your favourite fandom's languages. I'm having such a great time going from page to page thinking: "Omg! I've watched that show!"
So would truly recommend for those interested in languages or just any geek. It's got everything from Star Wars to Pingu.
find local theater near you. go to local theater near you. read plays. read non-fiction books. read fiction books written over one hundred years ago. go to the movie theater. watch movies with subtitles. watch slow movies. watch challenging movies. watch movies made for less than five million dollars. watch a documentary. watch television shows that have no fandoms. watch classic television shows. watch television shows starring actors that have no social media. read criticism of your favorite media frequently. think critically about your favorite media often. consume media made for adults.
"Not all men" no, but Hitchcock absolutely would
“Not all men” no, Jake peralta would never
“Not all men” no, Terry jeffords would never
“Not all men” no, Kevin cozner would never
“Not all men” no, Raymond holt would never
“Not all men” no, Charles Boyle would never
But it feels good to be known so well I can't hide from you like I hide from myself

Found another torchwood episode with Welsh in it for you! The Grey Mare! Its a horror twist on the Mari Lwyd tradition. One of the main characters of the episode and the Mari Lwyd both use Welsh a few times
Hope you're having a wonderful day!
Thank you so much!
If we go by the theory that Kai's vision had something to do with his time in the land of monsters, do we reckon that's why he looked guilty here?
Nya just told Lloyd she knew her vision could not be true, Jay could never forget her.
But maybe Kai's vision had some truth to it. Maybe it had already come to pass. So now he knows that it's likely Jay has lost his memories - something that turned out to be true.
Perhaps this will be of importance for the other Ninja's visions too?
I've seen many analyses of how Lloyd potentially isn't cut out to be the greatest leader, just like how the Wu in his vision doubts him. He failed his first student.
And what about Wyldfire? Was this foreshadowing Egalt suffering from the Wasting? Or will other dragons come to suffer from it too?
I am incapable of rewatching tv shows, even if they are my favourites. Consistent posts on specific fandoms are rare. My bad. she/her
