Either I'm the worlds most oblivious chef or my smoke alarm is on a hair trigger and honestly? I' scared to find out which is which.
I groaned as I saw the dead body on the ground. Grumbling out some choice words that Mellisa would not approve of, I grabbed my knife and dragged it along my hand. Dripping the blood onto the motionless form, I screamed out the spells I had been repeating for the past couple years. For a second, nothing happened. Then the body groaned and sat up, its now black eyes staring at me. Beneath the emotionless and obedient gaze, I could see the grumpy look that the soldier always gave me. "Alright, alright, I know!" I grumbled. "I'll try to be here next time! But there was this grat sale on candles at Bath and Body works and you know how expensive they are normally so I had to go and then I saw that Indigo was selling Percy Jackson and my niece loves those books..."
The undead soldier groaned.

IM SCREAMING THIS IS SO FUCKING FUNNY
Yesterday, I was helping my friends sell art in the park, when a couple of girls came up to us and asked (immediately regretting it) “is this the transfem picnic?……..” to which we got to respond “no this is the transmasc yard sale.” We then proceeded to have 15-20+ beautiful women swarm our stand of 4 creatures. Life is beautiful.
I have you two right now, but if either of you did, I'd be devastated.

YESSSSS. Agreed, this pisses me off to no end. I know that everyone is trying to help, but really, please say something nice once and awhile.
First: to all the authors, how much do you hate people commenting grammar corrections?
And secondly to everyone:
Authors HATE reading people correct their mistakes.
As an author myself, I don’t edit my drabbles or works or one shots. Writing is my hobby it’s not my job.
I can’t vouch for everyone but I know that when you put a piece out there, you encourage constructive criticism. Like: I can’t wait to see this character more or, omg the feels. You enjoy reading how much this person liked your writing.
Now imagine how heart breaking it is to read “*their” as your first comment on that piece that you didn’t really put any effort into. It puts a bump in your Day a little. But you carry on and learn to live with it.
But then it persists. Now everyone is correcting your mistake on a Drabble you don’t care about.
Now you really don’t think anyone likes what you wrote, you get a few notes on it but it’s mostly corrections. Delete the post, no one likes it anyway.
Except some people did. Some people were too afraid to comment or too lazy so they liked and reblogged it because it made them cry. Or laugh, or happy, or you know what it made their day better because they were having a bad day.
Now the two or three people who loved it will never be able to read it again and laugh because the author assumed no one liked it, so they deleted the post. Those other people have ruined their day when they try looking back in their feed trying to find that one drabble that made their day. It’s gone now. Lost in the void.
Think before you comment, you might just ruin someone’s day. Try to be supportive of authors, their content they post on here is for EVERYONE it’s FREE they take no personal gain other than the nice sweet comments saying that they made someones day better.
This has been my reality check for everyone who thinks that they’re being silly by correcting people online.
REBLOG IF YOU ARE AN AUTHOR WHO FEELS THIS WAY OR A READER WHO LOVES WHAT AUTHORS DO AND APPRECIATES THEM
