Why did they have to dismantle #nabrina like that? WHY? S2 Nick was so fucking great. I understand he had trapped the devil inside him but Lord they didn't have to annihilate his and Sabrina's relationship like that. He was such a brat in this season. Now I can't imagine them getting back together in any scenario or redeeming himself in anyway. So thanks for ruining that ship, caos writers😒
This is live action Wall E.
Avenue 5 (2019): Official Trailer | HBO
Armando Iannucci’s new series is “bearded Tom James in space,” I have decided.
Can we talk about Kristoff and the relationship he has with Anna and Elsa? I mean damn Disney stepped up it's game in there. Kristoff reacted in the most mature way when Anna was not paying enough attention to Kristoff. He understood that Elsa needs her and that Anna has to protect her and when Anna apologies for leaving him alone, he replies, " I know. My love is not fragile." (Paraphrasing here).
Also it's so wonderful that Elsa and Kristoff both have welcomed each other as family members. Elsa doesn't take Anna away and make Kristoff feel left off. And Kristoff is cool with Anna's close relationship to her sister. This is a family I whole heartedly stan.
I find these portraits a symbolic telling of their relationship with the spotlight (public):
The Queen looks at the spotlight head on, however her expression is impassive, we don't know for sure how she feels. She has become good at maintaining her duty. Margaret is looking down quite solemnly. I suppose this is the time her marriage and her character in public starts to fall apart. Both sisters are probably sharing the same light because it falls on the Queens left and Margaret's right.
Philip also has the spotlight on his left side who looks down tired. Submissive. Given up.
Charles also has the spotlight on his left side however he is looking at it shyly as if he is peeping through a half closed door as secrets unfold before him. As if he is sizing up the whole thing in secret.
And Anne has the spotlight on her right like her Aunt Margaret and she looks distant, daydreaming, like she is present physically but emotionally and mentally she's somewhere else. Hesitant.

So I haven't read a lot of Jane Austen books, but from the two that I have read, Austen's female protagonists are powerful and ahead of their time. Charlotte doesn't feel like that. There is something submissive about her. She only stands up to Sidney and Lady Denham, but there has to be more to her. I hope we get to see that in S2.
Sidney Parker's character is fine tbh. He feels like a Austen man.
And obviously the ending could have been better. I guess that's what happens when you have a man behind the helms.😒
But all in all, if you like cheesy period dramas to pass time, this is good.
They'll make a real cute couple
so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god
sometimes i try and think about how successful i could have been if it weren’t for the tv shows im obsessed with
I swear. I thought atleast here she won't get snubbed. Smh
Imagine watching Amy Adams’ performance in sharp objects and deciding it’s not Emmy worthy, can’t relate
I love the fact that Cleaver and Darcy stopped fighting when the huge cake came in and sang happy birthday like yeah we can fight and break each other's nose some other time but this cake should not be harmed.
Hell yes it is. No strangers look at each other like that.
Will reboot this untill my fingers hurt.
so women are supposed to grin and bear the books, the comics, the movies, the plays, the tv shows, the stories, the sci-fi, the translated ancient poems, the fucking millennia of men writing about their self inserts torturing women and it being declared as High Art by other men, we’re supposed to read it in our free time, study it in classrooms, include their styles in our own writing, accept their cultural influence as natural, watch it in the cinema, write about it, talk about it, accept it, aspire it, but men can’t tolerate three seconds of female wish fulfilment of a woman snapping the wrist of a creep without feeling personally kicked in the balls.
It's nice to have a friend reminds me of the opening sequence of Big Little Lies and the whole ocean-esque vibe. The tune is like hearing mystical beauty.
I agree. There was a moment when they got married that Tommy looked doubtful almost unhappy. That expression on his face was there once more before Grace died. I don't think they really loved each other and the show should really let go of her.
Unpopular opinion but Grace was such a non character when she was actually alive and neither she nor Tommy actually added anything to the other's character, I never got the impression that Grace knew or understood Tommy that I'm just ready to move on. Her presence this season is abrupt to me because the show did a terrible job portraying why exactly Tommy would continue to pine for her (since season 2) there was literally nothing of substance to that relationship. It's time to let that character go.
I think and this might be a hunch, that Taylor decimated the entire Patriarchy with 'The Man'.
Mindhunter is an intense, honest version of true crime. It's unsettling, fascinating, chilling and obsessive show that doesn't sensationalise the killers and their killings. They don't show gory imagery of disemboweled bodies. They describe gory imagery of disemboweled body and let us run wild with imagination. Obviously it has its moments of dramatisation that is required for entertainment but still I think the truest fans of crime genre will love this show. It should receive more attention and accolades.
So the new song reminds me of the songs that are played at the end of a classic Christmas romcom you know? Like I can feel the aesthetics of cotton candy pink and blinking Christmas light and cold winters but also the coziness of hot chocolate and books. The song feels secure you know, like a feel good road song.
Wow. She really made Christmas come in August.
I think my brain just relapsed. She eloquently described my vague, fleeting thoughts.
Even in 'female' there is a 'male'. There is just no escaping.
being a woman isn’t about the body you were born with or your feelings or your brain it’s about being haunted by this quote from margaret atwood for your entire life
Miss Taylor Swift handpicked fans all the way from India for her secret sessions?

I DIDN'T GET MY INVITATION?!😭😭😭
@taylorswift
This has the same chaotic energy as the "I want it that way" cold open of B99 and you can't change my opinion.
This will forever be one of my favorite Parks and Rec intros
I want to know what test group saw the official logo and went " this is gonna hype em up".
Marvel had to open the movie with Houston's" I will always love you" didn't they?
Also, I feel scattered after watching the movie. There was something missing in the whole movie, like the story wasn't engaging enough. There was no promise in the movie you know what I mean? But maybe it's just the MCU lying low I guess after the big Endgame.
I guess it was still good.
I saw the reviews. And I hadn't watched the movie, so I had decided to watch it myself and form my own opinions. But if this is what the director says then, I have no intention of watching it.
This is gross misuse of their ability to entertain and tell stories. Of creating art. What he has created is so misleading and there will always be ppl who don't know how to differentiate between reality and entertainment. And they will take inspiration from this "art" especially in a traditionally patriarchal society that is still prominent in India.
This is not a feminist rant. This is about how toxicity in relationships and treating individuals is masked whether it's race, gender, caste, sexuality and how media plays a powerful role in it. Love can not be disrespectful and hurtful at all. Relationships do not require you to have physical dominance over one another.
This is just absolutely sad and I hope this man experiences healthy and mutual love and respect.
steve harrington has maybe the best character arc ever written for television, he went from asshole dudebro to father of the year to the lesbian ally we all deserve
That's all of us actually
El at the beginning vs. the end of season 3
@taylorswift ❤️
May the sun kiss you where you hurt.
Those two dumbfucks need to know that power of music is so much greater. That creativity cannot be brought.
I just want to say that the world is so much colorful with you in it. All the members of the LGBTQIA+ community have gone through so much and they have emerged scathed but victorious however small it maybe. I want to give so much love and blessings to all the closeted members as well. You will make it through.
I also want to give a shout-out to all South East Asians too. In a culture that is so rigid and doesn't accept change at all, you have managed to survive and make a mark. There is still a lot I don't understand about the LGBTQIA+ community, maybe because I don't have that kind of personal exposure to it. But I respect all of you and what you stand for. And I am here for you. Always.
Sending love, hope, blessings and strength to all my siblings in the community.
