Marla Grayson is an intelligent, ballsy, determined, charming, 4-steps ahead kind of person. She knows the law around elderly care very well and she uses that to her advantage. She is ruthless because she has been burned before in this game of being rich and powerful. She has the right amount of recklessness to take risks and she doesn't care or think that heaven and hell exists or there is something after death. She obviously has selective empathy because even though she abuses elder people she cares about her girlfriend, her employee, and her doctor friend who is killed.
Here is the thing. There are movies like these with male white protagonists all over hollywood. Its a very American and very capitalistic movie. While I like her abilities and the way she uses her skill set and Rosamund Pike does a very good job, she uses it in an immoral and unethical context. She is a bad person who simply happens to be a lesbian. Anyone can be a bad person, even minorities. So its not right to root for her and it makes sense that she is killed the way that she does (although I do admit she shouldn't have been shot by that misogynistic piece of crap who threatened to rape her, it sends a bad message.)
It doesn't have a msg per say, I guess the only thing I took away is that American legal system is so crappy that anyone can tale advantage of it and capitalism is ruining everything there.Oh and yeah be somewhat like Marla Grayson in a moral, ethical context. And maybe get her wardrobe.
Its just another movie. A popcorn watch if you will.

Brie Larson making sure a young girl had the chance to ask a question at the Avengers: Endgame press conference. (x)
Agreed. I think its so ingrained in us that every intimate and vulnerable relationship has to be translated into a romantic, sexual relationship. Male friendships can be vulnerable and physically intimate that does not involve anything sexual.
unpopular opinion but i don’t feel a lot of queer bait from tfatws. yeah- bucky is bi af. and it radiates off of him. it’s so loud. and, yeah- several times i’ve yelled something along the lines of “LET THEM HUG GOD DAMMIT” at my screen. but also: let men be friends. let men be kind. let men need help. let men have soft relationships. let men trust. let men talk deep to one another without making it romantic or sexual. let bucky barnes figure himself out, work through his trauma, especially with the help of friends. he deserves it.
I agree. There was a moment when they got married that Tommy looked doubtful almost unhappy. That expression on his face was there once more before Grace died. I don't think they really loved each other and the show should really let go of her.
Unpopular opinion but Grace was such a non character when she was actually alive and neither she nor Tommy actually added anything to the other's character, I never got the impression that Grace knew or understood Tommy that I'm just ready to move on. Her presence this season is abrupt to me because the show did a terrible job portraying why exactly Tommy would continue to pine for her (since season 2) there was literally nothing of substance to that relationship. It's time to let that character go.
nice!
Kala Ghoda Festival, 2019,Mumbai.
It's cold and damp outside because it's raining and you just curled with your blanket on your sofa with piping hot tea and you're just listening to folklore. You're listening to stories and magic and feeling the glitter of relationships and haunting sweetness of broken hearts and almost love. This album gives an insight of her solitude thoughts and daydreaming stories, which in a way is very personal. It's surreal and above the plane of reality and gives an odd sense of comfort, which is very welcome right now and I really appreciate it. Thank you @taylorswift for this album. You have outdone yourself yet again.
