big bang theory is awful for obvious reasons but honestly shout out to them for inventing “bazinga” so i have a word i can drop into any conversation for a one-hit kill
tomorrow i will get my life together. if i’m not sleepy
why do so many people refuse to believe that cats love so pure and deeply and they're not always just self serving little heat creatures. when a cat loves you, when a cat looks at you with love in their eyes... my god
favorite shit humans do is when someone gets them a wearable gift (i.e. jacket or jewelry, shirts, etc.) the human wears it around the other one that gave it to them and is like “notice! wore for you! look! look!!!” and then the other human is like “yes!! i see! you look nice :) i am happy i made you happy :)”
i am.. still reeling from this experience :/
i think the thing that makes me the most emotional in life is the realization that everything i have and everything i see has been touched by other people. someone designed the logo of my favorite tea bags and someone decided which paintings should go in the calendar hanging on my wall. someone built the roof above my head and someone paved the street outside my house. someone made this pair of glasses specific for me, someone picked the pear i ate with my lunch and someone designed my favorite sweater. every book i read, every song i listen to, every film i watch, tens, if not hundreds of people had to be there to make it happen. even if i am alone, i am always surrounded by other human beings - a fact that makes my heart squeeze in on itself everytime i remember it.
hmmm
Verdelite in Quartz, Chlorite Quartz, Aventurine and a Plum blossom
Over and over
deeper and deeper
layer by layer
life gets touched by healing
in abundance
knowing no scarcity of love
as it is present in all that lives

The war in Afghanistan doesn't seem to phase you, because it's not happening to you.
The ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Palestine doesn't seem to phase you, because it's not happening to you.
The genocide of Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang doesn't seem to phase you because it's not happening to you.
The genocide of Rohingya Muslims in Burma doesn't seem to phase you because it's not happening to you.
The farmer's protests in India doesn't seem to phase you, because it's not happening to you.
By choosing no side, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. You have chosen to do what is easy, instead of what is right. Just remember that when your children and grandchildren read and learn about the ethnic cleansing and genocides that we are currently witness to, make sure to let them know that you were there when it happened.
“I saw the red flags and warning signs, I heard the victims beg and plead for the world to not turn a blind eye against the injustices they face. I saw the children become orphans, I saw mothers bury their daughters. But it didn't phase me because it wasn't happening to me.”
