Can you see something wrong? No? Me neither
Back from Dark Era stageplay and not really breathing.
Below is a review of the stageplay, hence please do not read it if you are going to catch the play and wish to avoid spoilers! This is not in chronological order of events; I’m focusing on what impressed me and commenting on the adaptation to stage.

If there was one matter that the entirety of Hogwarts could agree on, it was that a bored Dazai was an unpredictable Dazai.
Whenever they gathered in the staffroom for meetings, which was code for half serious discussion, and half gossip, the professors agreed that it made complete sense: Dazai was far too brilliant to be kept busy with the curriculum, and boredom paired with the teenage curiosity to push the button labelled ‘do not touch’ was a naturally disastrous combination. Not a month went by without at least one professor admitting astonishment that Hogwarts hadn’t crumbled yet.
“Ah, though whether that comes true…depends on what he’s planning for this month,” Hirotsu murmured.
As one, all the professors turned to look at the calendar on the wall, which helpfully informed them that they were a week into December; or, the most dangerous month aside from April, which coincided with Slytherin Survival Week, which also coincided with the students’ stress from upcoming exams. December was, they had all realised over the years Dazai had been in the school, the month in which the prodigy wizard decided the year must be sent off with a bang, and a potentially destructive bang too. A vein in the headmistress’s face twitched, though nobody could tell if it was out of frustration or poorly-hidden amusement. After they had all examined the calendar for a long moment, as though hoping it was still November and they didn’t have to handle this, they all turned back to look at each other.
