Our First Flight Together ✈️

“After waking up, getting dressed, pack up all of our stuff, loading it into car, got in the the car & straight to the airport. We finally made it just in time to unload bags from trunk, get everyone out the car, get our tickets, find something to eat, eat kinda quickly & sit by the door to the airplane while we waited for Ty to drop off Bry.

They finally came & got Bry dropped off. We said a quick hi & goodbye to my older bro & he left (him & Kay’s older sis will be joining us later). After having him dropped off we just sat & talked about our trip & what we’re gonna all do while we’re there. Now we’re just gonna sit back, relax & wait to go on our long awaited vacay (we LK all needed it😅)

Finding Out Being Parents for the First Time as Teen Parents😖

“Finding out that we were gonna become first time parents as teens is something no parent of ours would like to hear come out of our mouths. Yes we’re older teens but we’re also considered adults at the ripe young age of 18 & 19 years old.

I was so scared at the time because I know my parents are gonna be more so disappointed than actually angry at me because they’ve gone through the same thing we have but a little younger so they understood what it was like for us🥺 Kayson’s parents on the other hand not so much as they’re stricter than my parents & had rules that even my family could NEVER even consider having😣

The first of having to get ultrasound was confirmation enough as soon as I heard the heartbeat I just knew I was pregnant. The second time I go I had to go by myself as C-19 had approached so I had to go by myself but as soon as the appointment was done & went home. I immediately had to show Kayson the first EVER pic of our baby. He was so shocked & excited to finally to get see who he’s speaking to at night lol😂

Then that same day but at night he was having second thoughts of having to tell his parents about the news as it’s been weeks since he hasn’t told them about the news. I reassured him in saying that when you’re ready to tell them, you can. It’s not up to them. It’s up to YOU😌

“I called my big bro to ask when he & Steph were gonna be there & said that it would be soon. I didn’t mind waiting as we’ve only just arrived at the beach not long ago. Oh how I missed them so😩

They arrived not long after. We greeted them & hugged them as it’s been so long since we last met. Ofc Laela was shy at first but warmed up pretty quickly since it’d been a little while since she’s last saw them🥹(She sees Nat and Bry almost everyday but she’s not used to seeing Steph & Ty all that much)

We can get this day officially started at the beach😁”

The Last Weeks of Me Being Pregnant🤰🏽

“These were the last few weeks of me being pregnant & giving birth to Laela back in 2020. It was pretty hard but also very chill as I’ve only wanted a home birth so not going to the hospital to give birth wasn’t a problem for us😌

Our doula almost came late but got here on time as Laela was getting ready to come out into the world. We’re actually friends with our doula who’s been very helpful in our pregnancy journey with our children (IYKYK)”
