The bag of flour provided to us as aid due to the closure of the crossings is now being sold by merchants for $200, and we don't have the money to eat bread.
Our children are dying of hunger.
I don't have the money to buy even one bag.
Please help đ

When we talk about rebuilding Gaza, itâs no oneâs business how we will be rebuild it.
We will do whatever we want because it is our land. It concerns no one except us Palestinians how we will live and what kind of houses we will build. We will also choose our furniture and the number of books in each house. And we will plant trees in the graveyards.
Just end the occupation so that we can get enough books and trees. Thatâs all you must do.
Your support is here to help us rebuild life. Donate here

ââI am manal from Gaza. I am 30 years old. I stand before you as a person trying to support my family of 3 members, me, my husband, and my young daughter. We are living in very difficult circumstances after the occupation launched the war on Gaza. We were displaced from our home and live in a tent that does not protect us from the cold of winter or the heat of summer. We live in extreme poverty due to the circumstances and there is no income. We are no longer able to provide the necessary supplies of food, drink and others due to the insane rise in prices. Thus, my source of livelihood was destroyed and we live in very difficult conditions in tents. It is difficult for me to find the words to describe what we face every day in the tents without food, medicine, or drinking clean water, along with the oppression, helplessness, psychological pressures, and daily traumas that everything causes. Around us and unable to care for our families, the fear of danger, disease and death never leaves us
Now, I find myself in this difficult situation, and I humbly ask for your help to save the lives of my family, especially my little girl, by getting us out of Gaza to Egypt and building a new life outside Gaza or helping us get money to buy the necessities we might be able to afford. Asking for help is not easy, but we had no choice because we want to survive and strive to rebuild our shattered lives. We are very grateful for any help you can offer, no matter how small, because your help will go a long way in alleviating our suffering. I hope you will share my story with your family and friends.
EDIT: YOU SHOULD CARE MORE ABOUT REAL INDIGENOUS PEOPLE
btw iâm not pushing like âboycotting the lilo and stitch is the greatest act of activism you can do in todayâs climateâ
iâm just like ânot watching this movie is literally the bare minimum you can do to help not push an imperialistic tourist agenda thatâs destroying native Hawaiâi. just donât.â and im already pre-irritated bc i know like thirty people are gonna be like i knowww but. i just wanna.

Casual reminder that the Palestine Children's Relief Fund has a 97% on Charity Navigator and you should donate to it if u can. Despite the limited external aid that's been allowed into Gaza, they've been able to distribute a lot of aid internally. And they are providing needed aid to Lebanon.
im at disbelief at the fact that a lot of folks are simply over palestine. like protests are dwindling down. people are not very interested in news related to gaza. some are simply over it.
israel hasn't let aid in gaza in 70 days. gaza has been starving for 70 days. the condition of people there is horrendous.
i find it distressing to think about children in gaza. how does one continue to have a childhood in a genocide? they don't have school. they don't have safety. they don't have food.
despite all this, the kids will be alright. they'll be alright once the genocide stops and they get back to 'normal'. till then, can we please try to support them however we can?
this fundraiser (verified) helps feed a family which includes two young children. please consider helping their mother take care of them.

Iâm legit surprised that I havenât seen more ray cats in fiction.
If you donât know, one of the first ideas for how to keep people away from nuclear waste 10000 years from now was to create a breed of cat that would change color if it got near radiation and create lore and songs to go with them that would be remembered long after people forgot what nuclear waste was the same way people still have thousand of years old religions that tell us to do stuff but we forgot why. They made a song for them and everything.
One, why havenât they showed up in more futuristic fiction? Two, why have I never seen a ray cat furry? Three, why did they pick an animal that is THE MOST likely to wander off instead of one we have more control over like horses or dogs?
I do not know if polls really help with âengagementâ like the trends seem to suggest, but either way, itâs something fun before asking you to hear me out about something serious.
I have been chatting with Dina Alanqar @zinaanqar.Â
She is currently in Gaza with her husband Ahmed and their four young children, the youngest only born in June. Like so many others, they lost their home in the north and have been displaced many times since. Theyâve been struggling with lack of healthcare, clean water, hardships that I can hardly even imagine.
Their family needs funds for travel and accommodations when the opportunity to leave Gaza comes, and for their survival until then.

We need to show up for one another in love and solidarity, especially amidst this genocide. Please donate if you can, and at least share if you cannot. They are close to their goal!
Please take a moment to read this. A Canadian company wants to build a sulfide copper mine near Lake Superior, which holds 21% of the worldâs freshwater. The mine would produce 98.5% toxic waste, stored in a dam just two miles from the lake. The dam can only withstand a 1-in-100-year storm, but the area has had two 1-in-1,000-year storms in the past decade. If it breaks, toxic water could flood the lake. Copper sulfide mines in the U.S. have consistently contaminated nearby water sources, and this mine could hurt local communities with lower employment, income, and property values. The company wants $50 million in taxpayer funding to move forward. The Michigan Senate is about to vote, if they donât get the funding they canât build it.
