today I found out I am most certainly, definitely, probably a trans woman. Perhaps my friends were right to call me an egg
My name is Mohammed, and I am a husband and father of three amazing children. We live in Gaza, a place that was once filled with the vibrant energy of bustling markets, children playing in the streets, and the comforting presence of family and friends. Our city, with its beautiful coastline and historic charm, was a place where we could dream of a better future. π₯Ί
But today, that Gaza feels like a distant memory. The ongoing war has ravaged our home, leaving it severely damaged and our means of livelihood shattered. What was once a place of joy and community has turned into a zone of fear, with bombings that never cease and the constant struggle to secure basic necessities like food and clean water.
We are weary, and the daily struggle to survive in this war-torn reality has taken a heavy toll on us. The place that once gave us comfort and hope now feels dangerous and uncertain, and I worry about what the future holds for my children.
After much painful reflection, my family and I have made the heart-wrenching decision to leave Gaza in search of safety and a chance to rebuild our lives. We are trying to raise $40,000 to escape the war and cover our living expenses abroad for one year, giving us the time we need to find stability and start anew. ποΈ
Leaving our beloved home, the place where we were born and raised, is not a decision we take lightly. But for the sake of our children and the hope of a safer, brighter future, we must take this step. π
We humbly ask for your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring us closer to our goal and help us begin the journey toward safety and a new life. π
Thank you for your kindness, understanding, and generosity. πΉ
Hello, everyone.
My name is Mohammed Abu Swierh, and Iβm writing to you from Al-Nuseirat, Gaza, where my family and I face unimaginable hardships. My wife and I are raising our three beautiful children: Mira (6 years), Bakr (3 years), and Maria (1 year). But our once peaceful lives have been shattered by the relentless conflict that has plagued Gaza for about a year. π
Our home, which once held so many dreams, is now damaged beyond recognition. Every day, we live in fear, surrounded by destruction, with no safe place for our children to grow up. The war has stripped them of the carefree childhood they deserve. Instead, they are growing up in a world filled with fear, uncertainty, and despair. π
After many sleepless nights and countless prayers, we've come to the heartbreaking decision that we must leave Gaza. We are hoping to build a safer, better future for our children, a future free from war and filled with hope.
But we can't do it alone. Hereβs where you can make a life-changing difference for our family:
$20,000: To cover the expenses of leaving Gaza and rebuilding our lives in a safe country.
$19,000: For a yearβs worth of housing, food, and essential living costs as we adjust.
$1,000: To cover transaction and fundraising fees.
We humbly ask for your help. No contribution is too small, and every dollar brings us closer to giving our children the chance to grow up in peace. This is more than just a financial plea, itβs a call to save a family from the grips of war. π
Your generosity can be the light that leads us out of this darkness. Please consider donating and sharing our story with those who may want to help.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for standing with us in our time of need. β€οΈβπ©Ή
A distress call from a family trapped in Gaza to stay alive
We need you to spread our story to the world.
I am Diaa Ayyad from Gaza, I joined my sisters ( @asmaayyad , @esraayyad14, @samaayyad15 ) So that we can collect donations as soon as possible so that we can leave Gaza when the Rafah crossing reopens.
In this difficult time. The past 11 months of displacement and famine have exacerbated our suffering and unbelievable difficulties. We have used all the sad words to describe the situation we have reached, but these words were not enough. The scale of the tragedy and suffering is much greater than what you may have seen on social media.
My family lost their home and I also lost my home which I had prepared to get married and settle down in with my life partner.
My supportive friends, you can support my family either by donating or sharing our campaign link with others so that the goal is reached sooner, please help us.
We are very tired and no one is looking at us. Please help us. If you can't donate, share the account.

Helloπ
Help Asma and her family in Gaza survive
Welcome, My name is Asma Salman Abu Daf from Gaza, trapped between walls of fear, despair and extreme sadness in the shadow of the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, I appeal to every conscientious person, compassionate heart and human being who understands the meaning of humanity to help us.
Help me overcome adversity
I am reaching out to you today as a steadfast and compassionate person facing incredible challenges, life in our region has become increasingly difficult due to the ongoing and increasing conflict day by day, and I am struggling to secure the basic necessities for our family.
Who is Asmaa and her family?
I am married to Ashraf Abu Daf, 46 years old. I am 39 years old and suffer from chronic diseases, which are Mediterranean fever and Crohn's disease. I take expensive medications and treatments for life. I have 7 children. Jana, 13 years old, suffers from chronic diseases, thalassemia, which results in short stature. She needs treatment for many years to take expensive medications. Rafeeq, 18 years old. Nour, 16 years old. Abdul Rahman, 13 years old. Muhammad, 12 years old. Ibrahim, 5 years old. Misk, 3 years old.
How has the war made our lives like hell?
We all feel fear, extreme sadness and insecurity due to the severity of the bombing and destruction we have been exposed to since the beginning of the war on Gaza until now. My young children do not sleep normally due to the severity of the fear and nightmares. My family and I live in our house that has been exposed to shells and bombing. I fled with my family several times due to repeated threats and requests to move from one place to another. My husband's income is limited and does not cover the required living expenses.
Due to the lack of good food, healthy water and the necessary medicine for our treatment, our situation has gone from bad to worse. Our lives have become threatened either by death due to bombing, shrapnel and missiles or by malnutrition, the spread of epidemics and diseases, psychological insecurity, widespread unemployment, and the lack of fuel, cooking gas and electricity.
Despite the harsh conditions and constant doubts surrounding us, I am optimistic and determined to provide a better future for my husband and children. My spirit is unbreakable, but I need help from people with a living conscience and compassionate and humane hearts to overcome the obstacles we face.
How can you help me?
My family and I aspire to build a better future for our children and ensure their safety and that we all live a decent life, and that they feel safe and stable and live in peace and reassurance. Help us achieve this dream through your generous donation, which will certainly have a great impact in saving us.
The funds collected will be used to:
β’ Restore the destroyed house and purchase furniture and appliances required for daily life requirements
β’ Food, water and medicine, and ensure that we have access to daily necessities, medical supplies and health care.
β’ Education, supporting my children's education by covering fees, school supplies and providing the necessary needs.
Every contribution matters.
No donation is too small, every donation brings us one step closer to relief and a better future, even if you are not able to contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your generous network can make a big difference
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Asmaa Abu Daf

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraise on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. Share and donate as much as you can. https://docs.google.com/document/d/178EGDFKkHlh3y4TMVX82kqgITHsqtoMdNccI2f_94Os/edit?usp=sharing
