godDAMN my friend is the best he's the only person I know who's listened to every single one of my show recommendations

like I brought up offhandedly how much i loved NPMD/the hatchetfield musicals once. within the week he'd watched two out of three. I mentioned once how much trouble i was having trying to get another friend to watch Mob Psycho with me. Literally 25 minutes later i got a text from him telling me he'd watched the first episode and loved it.

Like it's almost crazy because almost no one else I know is this willing to go along with my nonsense. I cant help but feel like I owe him a blood sacrifice or something because of how much this has affected me.

its... a little longer than I expected but who gives a fuck at this point? Not me, that's for sure. Exams have sucked the life out of me and I am now an emotionless husk doing their best to pump out Skybound Jaya angst that doesn't suck ass. Please send help the only things keeping me alive right now are:

My cat (sweet child is unaware of my suffering)

Ungodly amounts of sugar (my weak ass can not handle any caffeine that isn't a Dunkin refresher)

Pure spite

But yeah expect it tonight or tomorrow. Time has no meaning I am hungry and exhausted and I want instant ramen but we ran out.

alive but gay is my new favourite meme I need it to break ninjago containment

so a while ago i took a fic commission from the lovely @nonsense-at-2am. the prompt was:

“jay uses video games to cope with the events of skybound but it eventually just becomes unhealthy and eventually the other ninja help him get out of this”

so… confession time. i ORIGINALLY planned to write a little one shot about this, but i started getting ideas and thinking more about the prompt. i had a lot of ideas that i loved, but there was NO WAY i was gonna be able to fit it all in just a one shot. therefore…

tada! this is gonna be a multi-chapter fic - my first one ever :) i’m nearly done with the first chapter, and yeesh. just a heads up, this is my first time writing so much - when i sat down to start writing this, i had no idea it was gonna be more than 2.5k words 😬😬😬 as such, i’m not sure if it’s good or not. luckily i have an excellent beta reader, so i trust that when i release it it will be passable lol.

i should probably be able to post it by the end of the weekend, so be prepared! im quite proud of it, and i hope you’ll like it.
