a little notice about my fic (Press B for Bad Habits). unfortunately i wont be able to work on chapter two for a while as school is actually trying to kill me this month. (im not joking i have like a million tests, 2 essays, and a metric fuck ton of projects). since i am gonna be quite busy drowning in responsibilities, i wont be able to do much writing. im really sorry bc honestly id rather be writing, but nooooo school hates me and wishes me dead.

however, in the meantime i wanna do something to keep yall intertained. so im gonna be doing some very small things and posting one or two every week until shit dies down.

thank you to every single fucking person on this god forsaken site that has ever posted your own art or writing. You really put a vulnerable, important part of yourself out in the open on the hellscape that is the internet and if that isnt an act of bravery and a labor of love I dont know what one is

like even ignoring the story telling angle of how this ending is such an interesting way to take grace's character, the song itself is just SO bone chilling. like.. theres a reason npmd (the song) is a fan favorite but smth abt this part of the song coming from grace makes it hit harder. the religious character who spends the entire play spiraling due to a sinful act she commited singing about how nobody will pray for you when you die due to these being the consequnces of your actions is so ??? and even ignoring THAT angela puts in an oscar worthy preformance. her "run you little bitch" is SO good and im sad its not in the cast recording.. hell even how her high note basically became an unhighed scream and transitoon into manical laughter.. its a good way to show how the events of the play literally brole her mind withput having to outright say it. LIKE IM SO OBESSEDDDD

My ninjago oc, Detective Hiro Takahashi

Hiro's job isn't easy - he's the officer at the NCPD in charge of dealing with the ninja (recovery efforts after battles, getting their statements after incidents, making sure they don't run amok basically). He's in his early twenties when he first gets the job, and by DR he's in his 40s-50s. He's very serious about what he does, and does his best at first to always be professional when dealing with the ninja. However, you can only spend so much time around a group of self-sacrifical teenagers before you start growing attached. By SoG, Hiro considers himself their unofficial protector/therapist/parental figure (???) because good lord those kids need all the support they can get. He specifically spends a lot of time with Jay, especially after skybound (he knows about it but that's a story for another post). He loves his job at the station, even if it gives him gray hairs far before he should be getting them. Hiro is loyal to a fault, and if at the end of the day you try and hurt him or the ninja? Say hello to sensei G in the departed realm, buddy.

Hi! I hope you like the art, it took me like three days (partially because I'm so stupidly busy). Hiro's my first ninjago oc, and I love him deeply. He's been in my head since maybe my first time watching sons of garmadon, but this is the first time I've ever drawn/shared him.

Once again, I hope you like him! Now time to go back to my *checks work* 1.5 essays due this month :(
