An Englishman, a Frenchman, a Spaniard, and a German are watching a juggler perform in the street

The juggler notices the four men have a poor view of the show, so he stands on a crate so they may get a better view. He then asks them if they can now see the show. They reply

Yes

Oui

I want to try this with time travel

You, an immortal, have spent your entire life being a professor. Today, a new student signed up to your class, who happened to be a familiar face. Turns out, they already took one of your classes; 200 years ago.

I can't be trusted with time travel because all I would want to do would be go back to hang out with Jane Austen and show her all the adaptations of her novels to find out which one she likes the best

The villain stares, confused. This was the hero destined to kill him. This was the hero destined to ‘save the world’. This was the hero who trained their whole life to kill him. So why… why did he surrender to his guards? He should know that he’ll be imprisoned forever, with no way out…

Very Brief Guide to [tumblr], for Reddit refugees

Shit You Must Do Right Fucking Now:

Change your profile picture, blog header, and title to something other than the defaults. Do it right now. You will be mistaken for a bot otherwise, and blocked.

Go into Settings -> Dashboard, scroll down to Preferences, and turn off the options in the picture. This will get rid of most of the algorithmic stuff.

Very Brief Guide To [tumblr], For Reddit Refugees

Turn off Tumblr Live. You have to snooze it once every 7 days for some stupid reason. It's hosted through another company and will steal your data if you use it.

Go to your blog settings (under the little person menu) and turn off these two settings:

Very Brief Guide To [tumblr], For Reddit Refugees

Turn off infinite scroll (lags the site) and turn on timestamps on posts, in the same menu as Preferences.

Basic Features of the Site:

Reblogs drive the entire site. If you'd upvote something on Reddit, you'd reblog it on Tumblr. You can add text, images, or tags to a reblog, but you're not required to.

The dashboard is the equivalent to your Reddit feed, and contains the posts of all the people you follow, with the newest at the top

You can send an ask to someone, and it'll appear in their askbox for them to answer. You can receive them too, or turn off the settings if you don't want.

Tags aren't actually used for finding stuff (search function is dogshit), but are more for categorizing. People also talk in tags. Because Tumblr is weird, you can't use quotation marks (") or commas in them without fucking it up

You can filter both tags and phrases under Account Settings; doing this will put a filter over a post that contains them, which you'll have to click through to see the post itself. Useful for avoiding hate speech or blocking out annoying stuff

Very Brief Guide To [tumblr], For Reddit Refugees

You can make polls in posts. Here's one now.

Likes are useless. They literally do fuck-all except send a notification to the OP.

Stuff Tumblr Does That Other Sites Don't:

Very old posts (I'm talking from like 2012) often circulate on this site. There's no such thing as a post being "too old" to reblog

Blocking is highly encouraged; you can block someone for any reason. Even for just being annoying.

If you and someone else are following each other, you are mutuals. Mutuals are fucking awesome and are treasured like friends. Mutuals are a thing on other sites but Tumblr treats em differently.

You can screenshot someone's tags if you like them and add them to a reblog. This is called "peer review"

Sometimes someone will find a blog and go through it and like/reblog a bunch of posts. This is totally fine and not "creepy" like it is seen as on other sites.

Tumblr jokes often rely on Continuing The Bit and a "yes, and?" attitude. Goncharov is probably the best example of this.

We are fucking infested with bots. They will either have totally blank profiles or be filled with porn. Block and report on sight.

Censorship is pretty lax here. I can say "I want to brutally stab Elon Musk to death and watch him bleed out in front of a crowd" and nobody gives a shit.

General Etiquette:

Don't try to do epic clapbacks here, you'll probably just get laughed at or blocked. If someone is bugging you or spouting bigoted bullshit, block them.

Reblog art!!! Artists often struggle to gain traction on here; reblogging will give them a boost.

Not every reblog needs a comment or tag in it

You can go all out with tagging your stuff to organize it, or you can just leave it all blank. Someone might ask "hey, can you tag these posts as [x]?" and you can decide if you want to do that or not. It's generally polite to oblige, but "no" is still reasonable.

Avoid discourse like the plague. Filter it, block people who start it, scroll past it when you see it. Just don't get involved in it. Ever.

Don't put fandom tags or jokes on someone's posts about serious matters or personal shit

You're responsible for curating your own dashboard; if you complain about constantly seeing stuff you don't like, that's probably on you. Don't be afraid to unfollow.

Follower count doesn't matter much here and you don't have to make yours known if you don't want to.

Reblog, don't repost. Reblogging keeps the credit and doesn't "steal" engagement like Twitter retweets.

If someone likes something a LOT, they might reblog it like 30 times in a row. This is normal

Having a post blow up is actually kinda a bad thing, since it floods your notifications. There's a sort of in-joke about how having a big post is awful and people jokingly try to stop their own posts from blowing up, often in vain.

Tips:

Get XKit Rewritten if you're on desktop, it's a really helpful extension

In the little drop-down menu next to the 'Post now' button you can either save a draft, schedule a post, or add it to your queue. The queue lets you post things in order at a certain interval, which you can change. It's good for spreading stuff out over time.

You can use Shift+R to quickly reblog stuff and Shift+Q to queue!

Filter your notifications under Activity - you can also see some neat graphs

Find each other! If you want your old Reddit communities to stick together, seek out other refugees and follow them.

Have fun on [tumblr], everyone!

The Gravitational Waves Are Produced By The Planets Motions Energies and NOT By the Sun gravitational field (my paper hypothesis)

This hypothesis is important because- it gives us a method to use deep (analysis) for the gravitational waves features- on the other side- the idea tells (the gravitational waves are produced by the gravitational field) causes major difficulty for our analysis because no one knows what's the gravity or how does it work? means the idea puts the gravitational waves (features) under the same mystery of the gravity (work and effect)

Because of that- there is massive importance to prove this hypothesis- let's prove it in following–(before I need to refer to planet motion energy analysis)

Planet Motion Energy Analysis –

(Where's Planet Motion Energy?)

Any moving body produces motion energy (1/2mv^2), but where's the planet motion energy? the planet can't store its motion energy inside its body because it would raise its temperature, and no planet temperature is raised by its motion- so- again (Where's The Planet Motion Energy?)

Logically, Planet motion energy must be stored in the space in waves form-

The space is similar to the sea of water and planet motion in space is similar to a fish swimming in water- the fish motion creates waves in water and the planet motion energy creates waves in the space- means- Planet motion energy is stored in the space in waves form.

Let's see this picture accurately- we observe one swimming fish in the sea- the fish hits the sea water by its tail and pushes some water and by that the fish swims and moves- we conclude the water moves by a velocity Equal the fish velocity because of the reaction force- means- the fish swimming creates wave in the water and this wave moves by the fish motion velocity- Similar to that- Mercury motion energy creates wave in the space- this wave velocity equals Mercury velocity (47.4 km/s) -means– while Mercury moves, its motion creates waves move by the velocity (47.4 km/s)-

Shortly- All planets motions energies create waves in the space and these waves move by these planets velocities- The space waves are similar to the water waves, they move far from their sources and can be reflected-

The Conclusion (The Gravitational Waves Are These Space Waves, They Are Produced By The Planets Motions Energies And Not By The Sun Gravitational Field)

The Hypothesis Proves

I will refer to the proves in following in summary but and these same proves are discussed in details in my paper.

First proof

The planet motion energy analysis proves planet motion energy must be stored in the space in waves form (the gravitational waves) – as explained before

Second proof

The energy is reflected in the solar system and this reflection proves the gravitational waves are belonged to the planets and not to any gravitational field –

the energy reflection is discussed in details in point no. (I-7-4)

Third proof

The motion is transported among the planets- this fact is proved by my planet diameter equation (my fourth equation)

The transportation of motion and energy must be done by some method and the gravitational waves are this method by which the transportation is done

The transportation of motion among the planets is proved in my paper

Fourth proof

Planet velocity analysis proves that, there's a motion by speed of light in the solar system- means- the planets velocities are defined to produce a motion by speed of light in the solar system- and – because the gravitational waves move by speed of light (as the article states) that tells – the gravitational waves move by speed of light depending on the planets velocities which prove these waves are produced by the planets motions energies and Not by any gravitational field

Notice

In point no. (I-7-6) I put the proves for the fact tells (There Are Relativistic Effects In The Solar System)- the fact supports the article discovery- means- because the gravitational waves moves by speed of light that caused relativistic effects to be found in the solar system-

Fifth proof

The sun rays creation proves the gravitational waves are produced by the planets motions energies and not by any gravitational field- because- the planets motions energies are stored in the space (and should be used because logically the energy can't be stored in the space forever without using) that tells the sun rays is produced from this stored energy and by that the sun is the outlet for the solar system motion energy

Understandable, if the stored energy is not used, it would cause a risk of explosion for the solar system

(also the sun creation depends on a cycle which is suitable for the solar system motion principle – where the nuclear fusion idea is very strange here because it doesn't depend on any cycle)

The sun rays production is discussed in Part NO. (II) of my paper abstract.

Thanks a lot – please read

Future cultures having no idea what we mean when we talk about "stuffed animals" and future historians having to constantly shoot down the popular understanding with "no, they did not constantly slaughter wild and domestic animals just so they could carry their stuffed skins around as playthings. no that's not a thing - no they were literally just toys. yes just like the ones you grew up with"
