hey! could you please share with us a tutorial about how you make your icons? i know there are others online already but yours are so beautiful!!! especially the gradients, do you make them or do you downloaded and added them? tysm in advance they're beautiful xxx

Hi there anon! :) Thank you for those nice words, first of all! <3 I’m so glad you like them!

Second, I honestly rarelymake two icons the same way (ok, that’s a lie since I use the same cap for multiple icons mostly, but you know what I mean). I am all over the place when I work inPS, and I bet I do things very differently from most people too.

Anyway, for you anon, Ihave tried to put something together here.Regarding thegradients, I don’t even use any. Well, I use a bw gradient. But youwill see that in the steps below :)

TEXT ON GIF TUTORIAL (+ fade in/fade out effect)

In this tutorial, I’ll try to show you the basics of adding text on a gif. Of course, there are many ways for that, but this is how I do that, and it’s been working pretty well so far. My style still changes, but if you really want to put heart into your gifs, yours will, too.

I use Photoshop CS5 Portable (you can get it here)

for taking caps, I’m using PotPlayer (you can get it here)
