Death didn’t affect Jinx much, not anymore. The scene, while bloody, merely caused her to look down at the mangled corpse. Anti had really done a number on them. This wasn’t just self-defense, if he had even defended himself. It was straight up murder, for fun. Her head really did enjoy playing with her.

❝ I didn’t get to see, but woah! What’d this poor sap ever do to you? ❞ Jinx crouched down, not thinking much of it. Not until she saw BROWN HAIR, EMPTY EYES, ANGLED FACE, GNASHING TEETH, WHITE E–

She fell back into the blood, g a s p i n g for breath at the thought of it somehow being Mylo. ❝ Wh- ❞ Jinx took a moment to catch her breath. ❝ Who was that? Some creep? ❞ Her voice was breathless even when she attempted to make it seem like it hadn’t affected her.

Anti scoffed, waving the knife dismissively in the direction of the body. A shame, he did enjoy an audience. Not many got to see him perform and actually live to see the end results of his masterpieces. He watches Jinx curiously, wanting to see her reactions. wanting to see her fear

❝ He did nothin’ but be in the right place at the right time,❞ the demon answered with a shrug. Whoever that corpse had been didn’t mean anything to Anti, the poor sap hadn’t done anything wrong per say. Just happened upon Anti during a moment of bloodlust. ( could happen to anyone, really ) What mattered now was the mangled, sliced up, bleeding mess that Anti was rather proud of.

Confusion flashed across his features, only for a moment, quickly replaced by annoyance. Jinx’s reaction was belated, caused by something she saw on her own ( in her own fragile mind ) and not by Anti’s work. His appearance glitched out, static dancing around him. ❝ Ơf͠ ̡c̛our̨se, ̛o̕f̕ ̧c͞oùrse! ❞ the demon laughed, voice shrill and high. He was rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet, a manic ball of bursting energy. The sight of blood tends to brighten his mood.

❝ Drawing blood is always necessary, always the answer! A̢ͨ͜͞Lͫ̔̓̑̾͋W̔͞͝Ă̴ͩ̈̇Yͣ͂̑̑̒͞͏Ş͛̿̓̃͐͑̕͞! Doesn’t matter the question or situation! ❞ Anti’s voice is filled with static, a piercing noise. His neck wound wept more blood, dripping down the demon’s front and soaking his dark shirt. ❝ Tell me, Dullahan, didja have fun? ❞

Despite the droplets he flung at her, she made no move to dodge them, allowing for them to splatter across her corpse like features. Clouded eyes, once a vibrant, brilliant blue, remained steadfast in their empty gaze. He reminded her faintly of something, of what or whom, she did not know; the energetic bursts of movement were all too familiar. Perhaps he reminded her of someone else she know, long past? Whatever the reason, it was with that deep seated patience, no matter how deep one had to dig to find it, that she did not attempt to take his head off then and there for encroaching on her space.

A token of our first meeting?

She bit back a laugh at that; perish the thought. Demon blood was something she needed for a barrier construct. Tokens? Trophies? Ah, it was supposedly an accepted fact that murderers would often keep mementos of their victims. She never got into that sort of thing; why bother keeping a physical memento, when you could keep their soul instead? That seemed far more a precious treasure than say, a measly clothing item, or a physical body part of a victim. Then again, souls were only valuable to her kind and others of the like; humans and other supernatural beings couldn’t have been bothered.

“You sound childish,” she mused aloud, unbothered by his words. It was amusing in a way, and in a sense she could detect a certain likeness; both of them seemed to be detached from something. Her with empathy, and to her, he appeared to be out of touch with….probably a lot of things if she cared to dig deeper.

“So I suppose you enjoyed your consequence?” Notice that she did not ask him if he’d like another puncture; she doubted he wouldn’t hesitate to take her up on her offer. Despite having obtained what she came for, she wanted to observe this one a bit more.

His eyes go black, for only a moment, watching the blood hit it’s target. She didn’t duck and dive, she didn’t try to avoid the splatter at all. Curiouser and curiouser! The longer this interaction kept going, the more interested he was in the other. Anti’s form glitched, static crackling in the air around the two. A part of him wishes to get inside her head, poke around and dig his claws in, but he senses that would end with him enduring more than just a slit throat.

The demon kept close, not afraid of another attack while still being wary of the possibility. He wasn’t sure if she’d try and take more of his blood, even more unsure if he wanted her to. Anti, despite being a demon and having various knowledge of things, doesn’t know the uses of demonic blood and has zero clue as to what the other could possibly want with it. Or what plans she may have to do with it.

Childish? That deterred the demon’s train of thought, his focus back to himself. He grinned wide, neck rolling and head jerking. ❝Got a problem with children?❞ Anti laughed. ❝ Or just a problem with childish acts? Or a problem with me? Am I annoying y̨̛͘ò̴̴u͘ųu͝u̵̕ư͡?❞ Childish was certainly a good descriptor for Anti when he was like this. A preferable attitude and way of being to murderous or crazed. Of course his moods could switch in the blink of an eye.

He raised his hand, a finger trailing across the wound before pulling at the  s p l i t  in his skin. ❝Well I sure as hell ain’t complaining!❞ More blood spilled down his neck, a dark crimson that stood out against his sickly pale skin. ❝You’re not the first to do this! That honor goes to m͞͞e-̡͡͝m̸̧͠ę̸-̕me̵̷!❞ Oh how he enjoyed reminiscing about that day, taking his blade to his host’s throat. This was before he had his own physical form of course, but he sure did enjoy inflicting injuries on himself the human’s body for fun.

Manic laughter spilled past his lips, blood splattered across his pale features. A body ( ą ̵́͜c͘͠or̵̡p̸s͘͟e͠͡ ) laid at his feet, mutilated and most likely unrecognizable to whoever knew this poor PATHETIC soul. He still held his knife in his grasp, eyes darting between looking at his work and admiring how much better the steel blade looked when bloodied.

Soft footsteps echoed around him, Anti just barely hearing the sound. Perhaps another victim? He could play some more, there was always time for fun. There was no telling how long this other had been here, had they seen? Or did they just stumble upon this horrific scene? Anti laughed again, hoping to catch a glimpse of fear and despair on whoever was there.

He turns, quirking a brow up at his audience of one. Anti gives them a crooked smile, blue and green eyes glinting with M A D N E S S. ❝ Enjoy the show? Or did you miss out? I’d be more than happy to do a repeat performance if you’d like,❞ he laughed, voice harsh and grating to one’s ear.

Flashes of bright, colorful light redgreenblueredgreenblue appear out of thin air. The sound of static, a high pitched crackling noise, accompanies it. Anti is there, glitching into sudden existence in the room.

Two toned eyes take in the sight before him, a cruel smile gracing his pale features.

❝ Now isn’t this just a lo͞v̧͟e͢͞ĺ́y̵͞ sight to see,❞ he giggles, voice high and c r a z e d. His eyes locked on to Mireya’s form, taking in the crimson decorating her skin and hair. Blood dripped to the floor, pooling, and Anti kneeled down to dip a finger in the puddle, laughing to himself as he swirled and drew mindless doodles.

Red, green, blue. Red, green, blue. The haphazard colours reflected chaotically in the whites of Mireya’s distant eyes, her gaze only shifting to take Anti in after his manic laughter broke the silence of the room. Whatever he’d said to her had gone in one of the ‘doll’s’ ears and out of the other.

All of a sudden, Mireya giggled with him, though the gesture was soft and hollow. The smile that lingered bore an undercurrent of pain. She looked down into her lap, a bloodied knife dormant on the ruined fabric. Even the knife itself was damaged, as if someone had taken a good chunk out of the sharp metal.

“I killed him.” She said. Where the knife had come from was a mystery. It could have been one of Anti’s that had been carelessly left somewhere, or it might have belonged to the victim that was now scattered into puzzle pieces all around the dark room. “I killed him with this knife. Now I’m almost like you.”

The demon is giggling to himself, continuing his mindless doodling in the blood. His gaze flickers between the blood, the  s c a t t e r e d  pieces of the corpse and his doll. So many interesting things to view in this moment. Where to look, where to look?

A quiet giggle joins his own, and Anti snaps his eyes towards Mireya. A wicked grin now on his lips. 

❝Yͣͬͣ̀͌óu͑ ̷̈͂ͥ͋̃̿̽did,❞ he hums. ❝You killed him good and dead! And made such a p̶ret̸t͠y͡ me̕ss̸.❞ Anti glitches out, disappearing and reappearing around the room, taking in the gore of the butchered body. (Impressive) The weapon, a spare knife belonging to Anti, did it’s job. Although it seemed to take some unfortunate damage in the process, it would be rather useless now.

Almost like Anti? Oh, sweet little doll. No one is like Anti.

❝Nah, if you were anything like me you’d be laughing right now,❞ the demon points out, almost scoffing. ❝You would be celebrating! You would be ecstatic and exploding!❞ As if to show an example Anti himself glitches wildly, bursts of static and color where he stands.
