ranking the best things I have heard surgeons say mid-surgery:

1. "Five second rule!" while scrubbed, after dropping a sterile scalpel on the floor (no they did NOT pick it up again but I swear everyone's buttholes puckered)

2. (spoken during the closing of a particularly long and difficult case) "Nurse - my tunes." :heavy metal starts blasting:

3. Gently to a fretful patient, pre-anaesthesia: "It's going to be okay. I promise, I've dealt with worse." As soon as the patient is unconscious: "This is literally the worst thing I've ever seen."

4. [okay this one was a med student] "Wowwww, that's so gross!!" Reg: "Please remember that [patient] is awake for this procedure." Student to patient: "Oh my god. I am so sorry, that was really unprofessional - " Patient, cheerfully, also engrossed with what's happening inside them on the screen: "Nah - it's, like, super gross, right?"

5. [another procedure where the patient couldn't be put under GA] Patient: *starts singing country roads midway through the procedure* Surgeon: *shrugs and joins in with surprisingly good harmony*

HOLLOW KNIGHT ANIMATION

I made this animation on my YouTube channel a while ago but I wanted to show it here too.

I wanted to combine Hollow Knight, Jack Stauber and animation memes and uff

sketch dump!! I'm finally done with commissions, so there'll be more art soon :D I made these in the meantime, and i'm posting them because they were fun.

some notes:

so a cool thing of animalyfying characters is that they adopt qualities of their species, hence the little tree comic, grey foxes have arboreal habits and their claws are adapted to climbing trees. another fun fact is that i referenced Mulder from a photo of a red fox up in a tree.

i looove Scully's seriousness, i think 8-year-old would've loved her and absorbed her personality, but that kid could never watch txf.

they're very special to me. im on season 7 and im scared because they say i should stop there aaaa.

how to say "I love you" in x-files [136/?] ⤷ 2.09 — "Firewalker"

I stumbled upon the deleted fight the future kiss in my files and couldn't resist the urge to try my usual editing tricks on it. Yet another scene (and not even a canon one!!) that fell victim to Chris Carter and his hatred of good lighting. Now we can finally observe the exact amount of tongue that was used.

Lastly, a little before/after comparison. Most scenes are so much darker than one tends to remember, and this is probably the best lit one I've done so far.
