Aten’s eyes flittered open, batting away the drowsy weight of sleep from his eyelids. His tiny brows furrowed, squinting through the night as his hair blew back from a warm draft. He lifted his cheek from his squishy bedding, hands fumbling lazily as Bridger’s chest was shuddering below him, causing Aten’s pointed ears to flop. As Aten tried to push himself up, a heavy arm came into a deathly hug over his hips, effectively pinning Aten to the gently-slumbering body underneath him.

“Mnhh, Bridge, wake up...” Aten murmured, his voice being drowned out by a deep, lazy hitch. He bit down on his cheek as Bridger’s nostrils twitched and flared, causing the 11-foot man to whine in his sleep, rubbing at the irritation to no avail. Aten blinked rapidly as he hitched again, causing the tiny halfling to jump against his chest.

“Bridge...it’s too early for me to take a shower...mmmwake upppp...” he grumbled helplessly, reaching forward with his tiny hands to paw at his nostrils, trying to massage the impending sneeze away.

Unfortunately, Bridger rolled over. He turned to his right, taking the poor, helpless halfling with him, and hugging him up close to his face. His eyebrows were knitted up in irritation, and his nose hovered threateningly over Aten’s wild hair. He snuffled, nostrils flaring as the strands of Aten’s hair teased the inevitable sensation, coaxing the dreaded sneeze to knife’s edge.

“H-hmmuh...? Hnnuhh..! hUDD’SCHEWH!! UUR’SCHhh!! Mnn...snf!” Bridger’s face relaxed gently, clearly unphased by the sneezy encounter. Aten, however, was left groaning, pushing his damp hair out of his face.
