Today, Was a Day
Today, was a day. Tomorrow, I will say, Will be the same. Though not good, nor bad.
But rather amazing.
For I will have you. And much to look forward to.
For even just a day, Even just a day, I'll say, Without you won't ever be the same. It will not be good. Lonely, certainly.
And rather melancholic.
For I would not have you, And little to look forward to.
So today, indeed, was a day. And tomorrow will be too. And so I say, these days are great. And the goodbyes sorrowful. But it'll all be okay.
Because of you.
I can't wait to strive ever onwards. To tomorrow and the many days thereafter. Together with you.
