We should all appreciate Sugimoto more. He wanted to kill Ogata so so bad because he shot him and shot Wilk and separated him from Asirpa. Like he was fueled by rage just to rip him to shreds. But when he finally catches up, he saves Ogata's life instead because of how much he cares for Asirpa. He is willing to put all his anger away in an instant for Asirpa's sake. Him pulling out his knife not to kill Ogata but save him and literally sucking the poison out??? He didn't even hesitate because Asirpa means so much more to him then his anger. It also shows development in how close he has gotten to Asirpa, and how she has given him reasons to not just kill on sight out of anger, but to care for someone else's sake. He still wants to kill him, but on his own terms, not the terms of making Asirpa help in killing someone. Its honestly a breath of fresh air for a main character like Sugimoto to be such a genuinely thoughtful guy.

cant wait till we get Ogata's "then this was all a mistake" line and i see a glorified slideshow to the beat of a radiohead song and I will eat it up
