I've been thinking, und mein Gott. I don’t know much about the lore of Cybertron, but from what I’ve read and what I’ve seen in the series and movies (although I'm still unsure how it all works, hehe?), it seems that everything revolves around energon. Starting from this point, the Decepticons, being exiled, likely suffered from a shortage of energon. This leads me to my second point: the power struggles may not have been simply to demonstrate your rank or your power as an individual. Perhaps those very fights were for a ration of energon. The weakest link had no energon, which would lead to their oxidation/death.

This creates a more competitive environment. The higher your rank, the greater access you would have to a ration of energon. The more energon you had, the more powerful your weapons would be. A vicious cycle of power and necessity. Taking these points into account, we come to Blitzwing.

Blitzwing has three personalities. Icy; the calculating and cruel personality, the most loyal to Megatron. Hothead; the reckless and impulsive personality. Loyal to Megatron? Who cares! He must achieve his goal first, then he’ll deal with Megatron. And lastly, Random; the chaotic personality, who follows no one and obeys no orders. These three personalities create the perfect environment for power struggles and energon. Icy acting as the strategist, Hothead as the one who acts, and Random, the personality aware of the injuries.

In my opinion, Random is the one who bears all the pain. "Did I break my wing? HA, HA, who cares! We still have the other one. Are my gears rusting? A little energon will help, haha! Not enough energon?... Oh, then I’ll find it." A Decepticon perhaps stupid enough to face Blitzwing in a chaotic and hungry state was the perfect test for Random to secure energon.

“RIP! BITE! CUT! YesYesYes! The wires sparked as they were ripped from their place. The energon flowed like a river over the chassis of his... companion? Enemy? Who cares, haha! It has enough energon, and that was more than enough. His teeth tore through the wires as if they were mercury, perfect fangs to squeeze out enough energon. As if his fangs were made for that..."

Oh, now I’m just thinking of writing cannibal metaphors as a symbol of love.

This is still one of the sweetest scenes in the show. Even though it’s only a simulation, we rarely see a Cybertronian interact with babies.

With more info coming out about the cancelled TFA Season 4; I saw that Icy was the OG face that Blitzwing had. Which made me think: Oh so he just had his full range of emotions with just that one face.
