Kay, but the part where Yoshie is the glue is so relevant in the show/manga. Tyson has literally not seen his brother or father in years. It’s been so long since he’s seen Hitoshi, that he doesn’t even recognize him when he’s dressed up as Gin of the Gale. Like, this kid really only has his grandfather left. But I seriously wonder what would happen if his grandfather died as well. Will Tyson be forced to fend for himself? Or will someone come home to take care of him? And who would it be, his father or his brother? Neither person are fit to raise a child.

Yoshie Kinomiya headcanons + family

Her hair is a cerulean blue colour; not as dark as Takao’s but darker than Hitoshi’s.

She’s from a secluded village (possibly Daichi’s) and she was a well known Beyblader there. Tatsuya had an archaeology trip there and that’s how they met.

Metal Driger was her blade originally; she gave it to Hitoshi before she died.

Her personality was similar to Takao’s; he got his eating habits from her.

Her and Hitoshi were inseparable.

She was the glue that held the family together and the Kinomiya’s have rarely been together since.

Hitoshi taught Takao how to blade as a way cope with his own grief however, Tatsuya still suggested that he leave home to take his mind off it.

Grandpa absolutely adored her and he took care of her when she was sick.

Her death affected Takao more than he lets on but he’s reluctant to open up about it as he knows he spent the least amount of time with her. He thinks his grief isn’t valid in comparison to everyone else’s.

Really, though, these are two of the most warm-hearted people ever, so there wasn’t anyone they legitimately chose not to invite, even though they kept it small.

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Ken likes to decorate a little for Christmas because his family did growing up, and of course they decorate for New Year’s. Generally, they do minimal decorations for the major Japanese holidays.

What are their goals for the relationship? - I mean, what more is there than what they already have? They love each other unconditionally, support and encourage each other’s dreams, and are always honest with each other. Probably the biggest thing they need to work on is communication because Ken still blames himself for everything and Daisuke has low self-esteem and hates admitting when something has hurt his feelings, but they’re getting better, dammit.
