Eldervine Field’s entry for the Equus-Sims Gaited Breeds Association’s “Patriots on Parade” show.

We were supposed to choose a country and then create a parade scene. I always enter ELF Minstrel into the GBA shows and she’s an American Saddlebred, HOWEVER just to screw with you all I went for The Netherlands. Because orange

There have been a lack of entries, probably because posing a parade in the Sims 3 is a huge pain in the ass, but the show can’t run unless there are at least 5 entrants in a class. SO we dusted off some of our Marchador broodmares and made filler entries allowed them to join the fun!

ELF Minstrel and ELF Amadeus (the bottom 2 pictures) got a proper job little more editing on their entries.

I also screenshot (screenshotted?) the description of my entry, just in case someone finds it interesting and also wants to know WHY all the orange?!

800 Followers’ Gift Part 2 - Eldervine’s Gaited Show Grounds

This is the lot I’ve been using for my Gaited/Saddle Seat show entries. It’s not fancy or neat, but it’s served me well enough? :D

You will need University Life for the banners and flag pennants to show up. I also have the latest patch, not sure whether that would be relevant but I see people mentioning that and idk how lot sharing works. :X

Included in the .zip file is a .package file with my recolours of the University Life Welcoming Banner. - Also a list for the other CC you will need. It’s not much and depending on your preferences you might want to change/swap those bits anyway. The inevitable things I forgot to include in the cc list which were naturally also the most important: Hatshepsut’s equestrian surfaces textures Simmami’s arena wall

- And the lot itself as a sims3pack, and alternatively a .package file which you put in your library folder, for lower patches/hateful launchers. Choose to use one or the other! I’m hoping there won’t be texture problems if you use the library file method, the sims3pack probably won’t have? :x Basically I’m imaging that you’ll treat this as a convenient shell that you can pretty up how you want. At least all the messing around with constrainfloorelevation has been done for you right? xD

The last 2 pictures show how I’d rotated the benches so they curved around the corners; as you can see it looks a mess from above, but it looks fine from arena-level. :)
