“You’re doing amazing, Jihoon.” you praise the little boy, patting the top of his head as you glance at his coloring book. The coloring is a little bit off, actually a lot, but you can’t really tell him that, can you? He seems to be encouraged by your praise, your heart beaming when he looks up at you and gives you a grin, his two front teeth missing.

You praise other kids at the table, somehow content how silent the room is. Well, apart from the occasional squeals, laughs and toys crashing down the floor every few seconds, but that’s just something you got used to very quickly. Now it’s just a noise you can listen to without having the need to go somewhere quiet. However, headaches make an occasional appearance once you get back home, the place empty from all the kids noises and their presence. You can’t say you hate it though, you actually miss them a lot.

You wouldn’t do this job if you didn’t like kids. And these particular amazing and cute kids that you get to see five days a week somehow sneaked their way into your heart, so you easily have grown attached to them. You could not see them for one week and feel like they’ve grown too quickly. Not for nothing people say you can see the real time passing by on kids. It’s true.

you’re running, running as if your life depends on it. it really does as you glance at them over your shoulder, their red eyes chasing you, their sickening laughs haunting you and sending chills throughout your entire body.

a scream leaves your mouth as you stumble upon something, taking you to the ground. you whimper as you do your best to crawl away, the pain in your body unbearable. you feel something grab your ankle, a hand with abnormally long fingers circling around you and pulling you back quickly-

a gasp leaves your lips as you sit up abruptly, your chest heaving as you breathe heavily. you glance around the dark room, calming down immediately as you find yourself in your boyfriend’s bedroom.

“baby, what’s going on?” jimin asks from beside you, his voice groggy and hoarse as he reaches for you. you jump lightly at his touch against your naked back, still slightly traumatized by your terrifying dream.

jimin notices how you’re slightly on edge, slightly shaking against the palm of his hand. he sits up beside you, kissing your shoulder softly as he waits for you to be completely calm.

“i’m sorry, i woke you up,” you apologize, your voice barely above a whisper. he smiles against your shoulder, his palm moving up and down your arm as to comfort you, calm you down.

what you don’t know is that jimin has been awake since you starting mumbling in your sleep, the whimper of your voice worrying him. so as the caring person that he is, he stayed awake, unable to fall asleep as long as you were knitting your eyebrows together, whimpering as if you were terrified of whatever you were dreaming about.

“it’s okay,” he assures you, “i couldn’t sleep anyway.”

you look at him, your eyes meeting him. you find comfort in them, his soft, warm eyes giving you the safety and assurance you need after having such a terrifying dream.

“bad dream?” you nod as he reaches up, tugging a strand of hair behind your ear. a smile tugs at the corner of your lips when he leans forward, pressing his lips to your cheek. you let him pull you into his arms, laying down with him. he pulls the covers around the both of you, hugging you closer to his chest.

“go back to sleep,” he whispers, kissing your forehead. “i’ll be right here to protect you.”

you huff out in amusement, loving how he hugs you close against his chest, his fingertips tickling up and down your spine. you bury your face in the nape of his neck, kissing the skin there softly.

“thank you,” you whisper against his skin, a deeper meaning behind it, which only he knows about. that alone makes you squeeze him tighter, smiling as you fall back to sleep without nightmares this time.

— author’s note; yes I started this with a meme and no I’m not okay. This is kind of chaotic tbh but I wanted to write something a bit more unhinged and lighthearted after all that drama from the third part of the series. This happens some time after bad reputation.

Probably one of the dumbest things that Jungkook had ever heard came from his roommate and childhood friend, Taehyung, after a few hours scrolling through Facebook with a blunt hanging from the corner of his lips. Taehyung was in the deep web equivalent of social media: entrepreneur pages, where young, overly-dressed men with obviously rented convertibles promised to teach gullible people how to become millionaires by working at home (if you only pay for their courses). Nevertheless, what started as an ironic scroll through shallow motivational quotes quickly escalated into a semi-believable, mostly high rant about the importance of controlling your inner demons, which Jungkook sadly had to endure, since he was the only person around and, therefore, his roommate’s sole target. 

Taehyung was high out of his mind, but it seemed as if he would be the last to get that memo: in his twisted conception, he was spilling the hottest of truths (and not the incoherent ramble that it really was). Fighting through Jungkook’s complaints and eye rolls, he simply went on and on about how the page “Alpha Billionaire 101” wasn’t really that off beat when they said that you do, in fact, have two wolves inside you — and the one you feed is the one that wins. Jungkook was basically disassociating by the point that Taehyung started drawing some graphs, looking fixedly at the two wolves on the screen of his computer (one written “success and drive” and the other one representing “failure and procrastination”) and wishing that the gods above would strike him down once and for all. 

And why is that important? Well, because eventually Taehyung fell asleep and moved on with his life, only casually mentioning the other stuff he saw on that page, but his words stuck around, glued to the back of Jungkook’s head. Not because they held any sort of meaning, but because the wolf metaphor was just too stupid to forget. And that eventually caught up to Jungkook in the strangest, most unexpected of ways: with you and bondage being involved. 

Now, Jungkook had two wolves inside of him: one was extremely laid back and barely cared about most things that happened, as long as he was having a good time. The second wolf was a bitter, prideful, egocentric, mean little thing that simply wouldn’t fold no matter how much the world wanted it to. And it was that second wolf that took him to that position: because Jungkook told you that he was positive, certain, a hundred percent sure that he’d never be like you and beg for something during sex. 

Which made both of your wolves absolutely pissed. 

“What the fuck…” he mumbled, looking up at your agile hands moving like wasps around his wrists. The room was dark, barely illuminated by the moonlight that came from the window, but that wasn’t really the reason why his pupils were so blown-out. “Where did you learn to tie knots like this?” 

You smiled, giving a last pull on the ropes to make sure they would stay still. Jungkook had been elated when you finally told him that you’d be willing to try it out bondage. One thing he didn’t expect, though, was that he would be the one getting tied up. “I was in the Girl Scouts,” you told him, sitting back against his thighs.
