“I’m sorry if I made things difficult for you, or if I upset you, I promise from now on I’ll think a bit more, and stop letting things get to me so much,” he whispered.

“It’s nothing that isn’t fixable, just as long as you know that there’s nothing for you to worry about.”

He moved his arm around you, squeezing you tightly into his side. Most times he wondered what he did to get lucky with you, but he was more than thankful that you’d chosen him to be the one by your side.

You smiled softly feeling his lips rest to the top of your head, “how about I buy us some takeout as an apology, you don’t need to be cooking for me tonight,” he suggested.

Your head nodded, “I think I’m far too tired to cook anyway, it’s like everyone needed something from me today, my office door barely had time to shut.”

“I guess everyone else sees how special and important you are too,” he complimented, “it’s a sign that you’re doing such a good job.”
