Quill said that singing to plants made them grow better.  Rocket didn’t believe it, but that didn’t mean he was gonna take the chance that it wasn’t true.

As Will is thrown onto the ground in front of the woman, her eyes widen in recognition, and Will’s breath hitches as terror grips his heart. Oh gods no, he thinks to himself, watching the recognition on the woman’s face turn into something even more familiar.

Hatred.

“You,” the woman hisses lowly, and she crouches down to Will’s level, grabbing him by the jaw and forcing him to look at her in the eye. “It’s you.”

Following the Party’s arrival in Corazzia, Will and Mike find themselves separated from their friends and forced to confront the shadows of their past.
