Blue Corn Maiden and Winter by Lynn Dobbins
Happy coming out day; although us natives like to call it "becoming" rather than "coming out" cuz we are always moving toward who we are in in multiple ways, from infant to elder, from partnered to nonpartnered (or multiple partnered), childless to parenting as a bio parent or auntie/uncle, to name a few transitions--and from one gender to the next. we all have every right to be anyone we want to be, do it in a goot way people.

My favorite painting by Paula Nicho Cumez, Mas Haya del Universo
Kaqchikel (Mayan) painter Paula Nicho Cumez is from San Juan Comalapa, the Kaqchikel art capital, the Santa Fe (NM) of Guatemala. This piece is called Mi Segunda Piel.
Colliding contemporary dance, abstract blooms and fashion, Nick Knight and Alister Mackie transformed contemporary fashion into onolithic modern flowers for AnOther magazine’s Spring/Summer 2011 issue. Alongside Knight’s editorial, a unique fashion film created by Tell No One brings the incredible fashion and inspirations behind the shoot to life.
I just realized that we have a painting by this artist, Ito Jakuchu!
