Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. We provide immediate medical aid to those in great need, while also developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system.
you can read more about their ongoing emergency response here
Responding to this emergency situation, Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP)’s team on the ground in Gaza are releasing all of our pre-positioned stocks, worth $570,000 USD (approximately £465,000), to ensure hospitals and emergency responders have the supplies they need to cope with an unprecedented influx of casualties. The list of supplies provided by MAP includes essential drugs and disposables, lab reagents and support for Gaza’s blood bank services. Some of these supplies are already being delivered to Al Awda Hospital.

(You can pry this idea from my cold dead hands. And even then I'll pull a jason and come back to life just so I can snatch it back)
Fun fact: even moving out of an objectively harmful environment is scary. Change is scary. I can't really neatly define what I'm feeling as depression, but there's something that has me pausing before I enter my room because of just how empty it is. More and more my parents are getting used to the idea that I'll be gone; I guess I ensured that by picking up a house sitting job and staying weekends elsewhere so I could get to work on time, but still.
I get my new key on Thursday.
I'm excited to have freedom and be able to exist without having eggshells under my feet, but it's also so terrifying. I haven't been able to get out of bed on days I don't have work, just because there's no schedule, no one to enforce it. What am I supposed to do?
It'll all be OK, eventually, but right now it's a lot for me.
Here's to freedom, let's pour one out for childhood.
Business Man Tim Drake is 100% one of those cool af people in a full suit skateboarding into the office. I imagine he's wearing a fancy suit and tie, with either bright or cherry red converse (fancy shoes are hidden in his messenger bag), and with a stickered skateboard he takes to work, a thermos cup in hand.
He's either skateboarding in, and on the days he doesn't, he takes his civillian motorbike.
His Brentwood friends see a clip of him at some point on social media, from someone videoing the teen CEO T. D-W skateboarding to work and laugh. That's Tim alright.
Chat they made Minecraft into a silly goofy cringe movie even through Minecraft is actually about life and earth and the universe and tearing meaning out of the ground and molding it with your hands into something that you can be proud of. They made the pink sheep look ugly and funny for a cheap laugh when it should’ve been a beautiful moment where you, age eleven, come across this rarity, this beautiful anomaly and you hold its face in your hands and stare into its chocolate brown eyes and you realize what the whole world is about. Chat they made it into a joke
Ok so you know how back in the 2000s there were a few jokes about Cass's gender likely because male comic book writers thought it was funny she had muscles? I'm taking that and spinning it to villains genuinely being confused about what to refer to Cass as.
Goon 1: Cmon man she's obviously called Batgirl
Goon 2: Well last month I told him he wasn't Batman and all he said was "Try me."
Goon 1: Have you heard them speak?
Goon 2: Yep. Pure gravel. You really swear that's definitely a girl's voice?
Goon 1: Has anyone ever gotten a good luck at her?
Goon 2: At Batman's stealthier, faster shadow? Come on Doug.

Goon 1: Jerry you're not gonna believe this. The little Bat saved me from getting my brains blown out by Penguin.
Goon 2: Oh nice! Glad you're still-
Goon 1: I asked them what their pronouns were.
Goon 2:
Goon 1:... And they said "Bat"
Goon 2: Well that settles that then. Why are you still referring to bat as they? You want bat to beat you up next time bat sees you?

Cass: At first I was confused why villains I save keep complimenting me on my nonbinary swagger. But after Duke explained what that meant... I think I kind of like it. Babs am I... Nonbinary?
Babs, frantically tossing aside her prepared 10 point acceptance speech for when your daughter realises she's a lesbian and scouring her database in search of parenting guides for nonbinary adult children: Honey, you can be whatever you want to be
While children around the world are waking up to the comfort of their homes, these children are waking up to the sounds of bombs instead of birds. Here, we have nieces and nephews. 3 of them are newborns born during the genocide. They all took their first steps in a tent.
Typically, as soon as a baby enters the world, the family celebrates. my family was happy but simultaneously terrified. Terrified because they are met with a terrifying present and an unknown future.
The sounds that surround them daily are the sounds of bombs and drones, as well as the sounds of people screaming, wailing over the loss of their loved ones and the screams of those who are fleeing, rushing to a place of safety which does not exist
The smells that surround them are that of blood and corpses and burning flesh, instead of the scent of their favourite sweet treats, the scent of their mother's roses planted beautifully in their yard.
The scenery that surrounds them is the scenery of bombs falling on them as they look at the sky, their scenery of rubble and shattered memories, their eyes meeting the bodies and blood of martyrs scattered along the road, as if it were something natural. He may wonder: “Am I next?”
My family has 8 children under 16 years old. These kids aren't living their lives, they're just living.
Darkness and death surround them around every corner. But you can be their light by sharing this campaign and donating, even if it's a small amount. We pin our hopes on the free people of the world to support us.
i think tim would take bernard to a fancy event, and they would sneak out somewhere private within 5 minutes. (inprnt)
I have a folder called Time is a Flat Circle in which I collect evidence of humanity. Here is most of them.
When I say I really want a Jason adopts tim fic, I don't mean I want him to become a parent at 19 to a teen like 2-4 years younger than him, I want Jason to meet Tim and decide that he wants Tim on his side.
I want Jason to adopt Tim as his Robin, like he decides that he wants to recruit this 15 year old that is some how the smartest and snarkiest person in Gotham. I don't want infantilised tim, I want a sorta Nani and Lilo sibling dynamic, but with a smaller age gap.
Like sure, Jason sees his little brother as some sort of soggy kitten that he must protect, but also a Tim that is very capable of looking after himself.
I want Tim to look at Jason, see Bruce back when he first donned the Cape and traffic light colours. And then in true Tim fashion decide to fix him, B was being too over protective since Red Hood showed up anyways.
Like imagine, Jason meeting Tim instead by accident when he drops in on a drug trade. Tim says some quip that throws him off his game while fighting. Jason basically losing to a very deadly fifteen year old who's not slept in 29 hours, and he thinks 'f it, I like the kid'. Then trying to recruit him consistently until Tim goes 'why tf not'.
I want enemies to caretaker, but they both think they're the caretaker
Reminder that communications in all of Gaza have been cut off for the past three days. This means no one can make calls to check on family members within Gaza or to report and call for help/ambulances following Israeli airstrikes. As a result, many end up dying due to injuries or being trapped under the rubble with no possible way of notifying anyone. Of course this also goes hand in hand with Israel intensifying their bombardment of every part of Gaza after having isolated it from the world.
You can help by purchasing e-sims. I will share a long post with all the details and instructions shortly and you can also Venmo smaller amounts if you're unable to buy a whole bundle so that bigger plans can be bought for families.
