Dear Gus & Magnus,
At today's baseball game, Gus struggled at the plate. Coach John told him to keep his head in there and swing faster. On the last pitch, he did just that and hit the ball. For being coachable and making those adjustments, he earned the gameball. He couldn't wait to get home and tell Mom, who stayed home with Magnus because he's got a heavy dose of the sniffles. "Mom, I got the gameball!"
It's worth noting that Fen and Harper were on the opposing team.
