my favorite couple dynamic is friends to lovers to strangers bc it ends in the most brutal way. i love to see how things end. how they meet and start off strong together, friends who know everything about each other in a matter of hours but refuse to address any underlying issues of miscommunication as the relationship develops, bc friends spare each other’s feelings. then everything falls apart bc their perceptions of each other are slowly revealed and ruin things as their partner realizes they were in love with the version of their s/o in their head and not them. the reveal of their perceptions of each other not aligning in reality breaks them apart and makes them strangers, completely foreign to each other despite having known each other for as long as they did. a lesson that communication is key but also that many of their issues couldn’t be prevented due to factors outside their control so it was doomed from the start

btw if you live in the midwest (a region where a lot of the states are going to have trigger laws or ban abortion completely it looks like) and if it’s possible that you can leave ur state, get to illinois. Illinois isn’t just a state where abortion is permitted, in illinois abortion is strictly a protected right. illinois’ right to abortion is permanent and isn’t going to be changed anytime soon. in illinois your abortion rights are completely confidential. illinois is one of the easiest states to access abortion in and the process is fairly simple, and it’s going to always be legal to do so even as the right to abortion is overturned in other states. it’s very much a safe haven to anyone who needs to flee their state right now. if anyone can provide any resources and links that would be greatly appreciated.

I think that Senjuro is strong.

This guy that appears soft in the show has been trained by Kyoujuro, who is known for his harsh training that not many willing to be his tsuguko. Kyoujuro trained with Senjuro, meaning both managed to adapt well to each other skill and strength.

I think that Senjuro is strong, but he doesn't meet the qualifications to become a slayer. Maybe there's something he lacks, but I know for sure this guy ain't no weak. Maybe it's something about his emotional or mental state instead of physical that made him unable to meet the expectations of a slayer.

Senjuro grew up not having that much memory of his mother and being treated harshly by his father. What if he wouldn't stand seeing any violence a demon could do? What if his mind and body couldn't decided to flight or fight so he just freeze? Just my speculation, but maybe that's why he wasn't strong enough to become a slayer. Or maybe be just needs more time for his body to become strong enough but he decided to do something else in the end.

Different from Kyoujuro, he's not as positive as his brother is. With Kyoujuro gone, the only light in his life, it's a wonder how Senjuro isn't as broken as his father.
