It’s kinda cute that Freddy, despite being the leader of the band, is the least egotistical of the bunch. I bet that’s probably why he’s most likely the favorite of the band. Not only because he’s the face of the PizzaPlex, but he’s very approachable and doesn’t make kids question their self esteem.

Maybe that’s why Montgomery wants to be the face of the band, and why Chica and Roxy are okay with it: They are jealous of Freddy being so approachable and kind. And they also see him being too soft.

Just a personal observation I made.
