Good news, fellow artists! Nightshade has finally been released by the UChicago team! If you aren't aware of what Nightshade is, it's a tool that helps poison AI datasets so that the model "sees" something different from what an image actually depicts. It's the same team that released Glaze, which helps protect art against style mimicry (aka those finetuned models that try to rip off a specific artist). As they show in their paper, even a hundred poisoned concepts make a huge difference.
(Reminder that glazing your art is more important than nighshading it, as they mention in their tweets above, so when you're uploading your art, try to glaze it at the very least.)

I can write a lot but it's because I write a first, very trashy draft that is very bland and isn't very fancy or good sounding. This helps me just get whatever I'm thinking about onto the paper first, then I go over it when it's done and make it sound good! That way you have your scenes and everything that happens written down, and you don't have to worry about things like transitions and whatnot until you start editing it!
Throwback thursday to when I was like 12 and I was putting out new writing DAILY...... Like entire Chapters of my then-current wips just, over an afternoon. What the fuck was I on
free my girl. she did all that but so did a male character and nobody cared
I love krita but sometimes I want to punt my computer across the room </333
all my friends hates tomatos......(loves tomatos and is the tomato reciever for every unwanted tomato slice on a burger or salad)
I WANT PROBLEMS. ALWAYS
WRITING IS JUST 'WHAT IF I MADE UP A PROBLEM AND THEN MADE UP PEOPLE TO BE SAD ABOUT IT' BUT WHY IS THE MADE-UP PROBLEM MAKING ME SAD TOO. WHO GAVE FICTION PERMISSION TO ATTACK ME PERSONALLY.
People seriously underestimate the long term effects of constant loneliness
"why are you so weird?" Idk, maybe because being completely isolated while growing up has destroyed my brain and now I'm nothing more than a human-mimicking creature that bases all of my actions on what I think is normal human behavior rather than just doing things naturally
hating tiktok is not a "back in my day" type thing. tiktok is objectively affecting other social media platforms in detrimental ways. ux elements are being stripped and everything has to have a fucking short video clips function. it's rampant homogenization and it's a problem
