I have… my hands empty, though my heart full of treasuries… for the woman who conquers it … “will be the richest in embraces”.

Tengo… las manos vacías, aunque el corazón lleno de erarios… para que la mujer que lo conquiste … “sea la más rica en abrazos”.

Questions I have for neurotypicals:
1.) Why do you talk on the phone on speaker in front of everyone?
2.) Why do you listen to your vids w/ others around at full volume?
3.) Why do you talk so much in the morning when others are waking up?
4.) How can you talk w/ music playing?
Not mine!
Orbea variegata
This plant is one of the many stapeliads found in South Africa, long placed in the Milkweed Family (Asclepiadaceae), but now transferred into an expanded concept of the Dogbane Family (Apocynaceae). These two families were clearly closely related, but it is still something of a shock to have the entire milkweed family swallowed up by its neighbor. In any case, the stapeliads are a notable group of succulent-stemmed plants within the family, with remarkable starfish-like flowers. Orbea variegata is fairly common in coastal areas of South Africa’s Western Cape Province, near to Cape Town. This is the second form of it that has come into flower this year at the Ruth Bancroft Garden, and its flowers certainly are attention-getting.
