sunderlorn replied to your post “YOU! ONCE YOU GET THIS, YOU HAVE TO SAY FIVE NICE THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF AND SEND IT TO TEN OF YOUR FAVOURITE FOLLOWERS”
I challenge your ability to eat more than me. In the best possible way. If ever you're in London, I'm taking you on a review, and we are pigging out to an unspeakable degree. (If that sounds agreeable.)
Challenge accepted. *slaps glow-in-the-dark fingerless skeleton gloves onto the table* (What? They were on sale.) And nothing could sound more agreeable, thank you! If I ever do get up to London, looks like one of us will be eating our words that day - among other things.
I want to see how many of us there are. :)
Writers who may be feeling insecure out their own writing, yet still enthusiastically reblog and comment on someone else’s fic.
Writers who may struggle to find time to write their own stories, yet still read fics and take the time to let the writers know how much they like it in tags, asks, comments.
Writers who can appreciate and share a fic even though it might not be their ship or their “thing” because they respect the quality and the writer.
Writers who have tons of followers and share lesser known fics to help them get exposure.
Writers who have a small number of followers and will still reblog the popular fics.
Writers who will help another writer brainstorm or get through a tough part of their fic.
Writers who beta for other writers.
Writers who are kind and secure enough to support other writers.
I see you, and appreciate the hell out of you.
Books!!!! I am all out of time order lately, haha. One of these, the one with white-and-gold endpapers, was mostly done before when l posted about After The Storm, but my cricut software had been giving me trouble. Well, I sorted that out, and also sorted out copies for the other coauthors as well!! I've been adjacent to these creators for... wow, many years at this point, and it's so rewarding to be able to put hard copies of their work into their hands :D
Shout out to all the people who've existed in bi and aspec identities.
All the aspecs who thought they were bi because they experienced the same level of attraction to all genders. They just figured out that level was little to nothing.
All the bi folks who thought they were aspec but later found out what they were experiencing was attraction.
To all the bi aces who figured out how to understand the attraction they feel and that sexual attraction isn't needed for romance
To all the bi aros who came to understand that being sexually attracted to multiple genders doesn't mean they also have to be romantically attracted. And that that's ok.
To all the bi aroaces that experience attraction other than sexual and romantic and find it important enough to label.
I love all of you and I feel honoured to know your all a part of this world.

"That's the last,
and you're in with the fire.
Out of the shattering finality,
the last moment,
awake or asleep;
disbelieving, incredulous.
...
Old.
He raised a hand, half-hidden.
Then he mumbled, staring,
"Mother of God."
...
Tears coursing his cheeks,
he kissed his neighbor awake.
...
In the gloom,
my eyes
and you."
It's almost Ace Week!
(Image description: a square with a gray background, white text in the center of the image says "Celebrating Asexual Awareness Week", with smaller text above that says "October 25-31, 2020" and below that says "Visibility. Acceptance. Respect." In the bottom right corner is an illustration of a brown skinned hand with purple painted fingernails holding an asexual pride flag.)
any sort of sex positivity message that refers to its readers as “dearest perverts” is invariably going to alienate ppl who are uncomfortable with sex and sexuality, and they’re the ones who need it most. “embrace how disgusting you are” rhetoric is not going to benefit people who struggle to convince themselves that they aren’t actually disgusting
