You can tell a lot about someone by the music they listen to. Hit shuffle on your iPod/iPhone/iTunes/media player and write down the first 10 songs. Then pass this onto 10 people.

“Taking The Cake” is an illustrated zine and 101 about asexuality, created by Maisha in 2012. It includes the basic definitions, some of the nuances of asexuality, explains the types of attraction that exist (not all attraction is sexual), dispels myths, includes resources and takes on the topic of whether asexuality is included in the queer community or not. Some say no, some say yes. Anyway, very helpful information and the artwork is exquisite. You see that Black woman on the cover! ♥♠
ANOTHER GIVEAWAY!!
This time, it’s Mica’s “Dad, why the hell would you give me Star Trek shirts? One has your face on it. It’s creepy. I don’t care that a con gifted them to you. You’re not going to wear them? Fine. Tumblr can have them” giveaway!! Rules:
you don’t have to be following me, but it would be awesome if you did. Also, I’ll put your name in 5 times rather than 1. I know I’m not a Star Trek blog, but I do post a lot of the reboot! Because Chris Pine’s eyes are the bluest blue to ever blue.
I’m going to regret this if someone from China wins due to my college student budget, but I’ll ship anywhere.
I’d like it if it get’s a few hundred plus notes so, you know, it’s worth it.
Reblog as many times as you want. Likes count.
Don’t be a douche bag and have a giveaway blog.
Giveaway will end on August 1st like my Supernatural one.
You shall receive:
4 Star Trek shirts shown above.
They are all various sizes from S-L
If the post gets 1,000+ notes, I’ll throw in an autographed and personalized picture of LeVar Burton. Why not? I live in the same house as him, might as well make use of it.
Good luck!

For those times J.J. Abrams Abramses up your day. Cumberkhan? You just got Abramsed. Every non-mother shown in her unmentionables? You just got Abramsed. Female characters with no names? Abramsed.
This time of year can be frustrating for people in the aro/ace community.
I will be here, whenever you need to talk.

Kickstarter time!
Currently I make resin skull jewelry which I’ve been selling in my etsy shop Skullery for a few years now. I’d like to expand and start producing a line of silver and bronze jewelry. I’ve spent the past 6 months learning how to make them and producing the examples you see here (and there’s more on the Kickstarter page).
Now I need your help! The equipment I need to cast these pieces isn’t cheap, so I need enough people interested in my work in order for me to buy the tools I need and start production.
I’d like to spread this as far as I can, so this post also doubles as a giveaway! Reblog this post to enter, no need to follow me, and when the project ends on June 1st I’ll pick three winners randomly for a bronze crow claw necklace, a bronze fox claw necklace, and a silver mini sparrow necklace (check out the project page to see them!). The first winner will have first choice, and so on. I have these pieces already made so even if the kickstarter isn’t funded you’ll still get them. And if you back the kickstart and win we’ll make sure you don’t get the same thing twice if you don’t want to.
Thanks for taking a look! If you cant back the project but want to help, spread the word! <3
I just read this super sad post about this girl who’s asexual and married and everyone is basically telling her that she doesn’t deserve her husband/she’s just a prude/she should just do it anyway. So I want to tell you all right now that if people tell you this, or if they tell you you’ll never have a relationship, it is BULLSHIT. My husband is asexual and I’m not. He’s sex repulsed, we don’t have sex, we never have. And it doesn’t matter to me. You know what does? He does. His mental health and wellbeing matter to me. Because he is my best friend and he’s one of the smartest, kindest, funniest people I’ve ever met. And he’s had people tel him that he’s broken and it makes me SO ANGRY because they are WRONG. Being different doesnt mean you’re broken. If you don’t like sex/don’t want it/etc. Do not let anyone tell you that you’re inferior because you’re not. Do not let anyone convice you that you’ll never have a relationship because they’re wrong(if you want one). You are not broken, and it will be okay.
This is the best single article I’ve ever read on asexuality. Brief, down to earth, and still comprehensive and accurate, and it doesn’t leave you with a million unanswered questions. If you ever need a basic go-to article to give your friends, this one is good!
