I think Leon definitely would be surprised to see his strong and buffy mentor was... Chubby punk softie?..

Also, he would mock Krauser for the hair. I mean... He gels it back, but forces Leon not to do. Does the major trying to prevent the rookie repeating his mistakes? xD

I also think that Krauser would be not really embarrassed of his childhood photos, but feeling total cringe about his teen ones

Hair. I'm more than sure that Krauser grew those intentially when he was at his teen years, and he didn't really want to cut it. So... He just gelled it back!
