“atsumu, can i ask you a question?” you asked over the phone, stopping the continued thoughts that your best friend was sharing with you.

“yeah go ahead,” he said.

“well, have you ever kissed anyone before?” you felt stupid asking — especially as you were certain atsumu has probably kissed tons of people before but just in case you were wrong, you did want to know.

“kissed somebody?” he retorted with a scoff, “no, i haven’t actually. have you?”

you shook your head and even though he couldn’t see your face, he could tell your answer by the miserable sigh you projected over the phone, “look at us, two best friends who’ve never been in a proper relationship or kissed anyone, how pathetic.”

“it’s not pathetic, we just haven’t gotten round to doing it yet, that’s all” he countered, “but…”

“but..?”

“we could. kiss i mean, each other.” he suggested and you splutter in surprise, definitely not expecting that, “it would be a platonic kiss of course, just two friends who’ve never kissed anybody before, kissing each other.”

“that would be more pathetic tsumu,” you exclaim, “it’s late anyways, i’ll call you later okay?” you hear him hum in agreement before you end the call, ready to go to sleep.

but you couldn’t sleep, it was impossible for you to do so when atsumu’s absurd suggestion lingered on your mind. when you originally asked the question, you didn’t even think about the idea of you kissing your best friend at all; you just wanted to know if he had kissed anyone.

so when he did propose that you two should ‘platonically kiss’ each other, at first it seemed wild but as you laid in your bed that’s all you could think about — how you didn’t hate the idea of kissing your best friend.

“atsumu, i need to talk to you,” you said on the phone as the clock struck 2 am.

“to what do i owe the pleasure y/n, are you calling about my previous offer?” he joked and you could practically feel the smirk growing on his face.

“yeah about that…i was actually thinking that maybe it wasn’t such a bad idea?”

“oh really?” he asked and you hum in affirmation, “well when can we do it?”

“i didn’t know we had to plan when we did it,” you teased “can’t we just do it whenever?”

“yeah whenever, sure” he agreed “anyways it’s late and i’ve got things to do, you should go get some beauty sleep not like you need it or anything.”

atsumu hung up the phone before you could even register what he said, until when you finally rested your eyes and your imagination ran wild with sights of you and your best friend together in an actual romantic relationship. it was an unsettling thing to think about, how much you didn’t hate it but there was always potential in you reading too much into this and atsumu only seeing this as a platonic kiss.

after another hour of deep thinking, you decided to call atsumu again, “hey atsumu.”

“three calls in one night, i must be special,” he said with a chuckle.

“i just wanted to say, about earlier—“

“can you hold that thought a second y/n,” he said “i just need to do one quick thing.”

you hear a knock at your door, and question who on earth would be knocking at 3 am and when you open it, you were surprised to see atsumu standing proudly on your doorstep, phone next to his ear still.

“one second tsumu, there’s an idiot at my door,” you said hanging up the phone and atsumu gasps putting his hand over his heart in mock hurt, “what are you doing here?”

“i’m here to collect my kiss.”

“but you live an hour away,” you emphasised

“and it took me an hour to get here,” he responded smartly, “you did say, we can just do it ‘whenever’ and since i’m here now we can do it here.”

“here?” you question and he nodded, “right now,” with him nodding again. “okay,” and you didn’t know why you agreed, but you knew there was no point in having atsumu travelling all this way to end up with no kiss at all.

when his lips pressed against yours, it was awkward — at first — with your body becoming stiff in nervousness, scared of doing the wrong thing and atsumu sensed that his hands moving around your waist easing you into relaxation and you both fell into a comfortable rhythm as you kissed.

as atsumu pulled his lips off yours, you felt sad already missing the feeling of his lips against yours. “so…” he said awkwardly, “how was that?”

“it was fine,”

“just fine?” he repeated with a growing smirk, knowing that the kiss was definitely more than fine.

“i’m going to bed tsumu, bye” you said quickly, shutting the front door in atsumu’s face ignoring the loud “hey!” he yells from the other side as you run upstairs to your bed.

you assumed atsumu left and you were ready to go to sleep trying to erase your brain over the best kiss you’ve ever had —the only kiss you ever had but before your head could finally rest against your pillow you get a call from atsumu.

“y/n,”

“yes?”

“answer one thing for me really quick,” he asked “was that kiss platonic or romantic?”

“uhh,” you were caught off guard by his question and you knew your answer would definitely influence how your friendship progresses after today but you felt more confident answering knowing that it was over the phone so you wouldn’t have to deal with whatever unwanted reaction atsumu may give you in person, “romantic, it was romantic. if that’s what you wan-“

the call cuts out, and you hear the loudest celebratory cheer from outside your house and you immediately smile at how adorable atsumu was. even though it wasn’t your intention, you were happy to go to sleep having had your first kiss and getting a boyfriend all in the same day.

Gently, you pull away, cupping his cheeks while he looks at you expectantly. “Why’d you pull away?” You laugh, pecking his nose before pressing your forehead to his. “Just wanted to let you know really quickly that you’re really pretty,” you whisper. His eyes widen, staring at you in shock for a few moments before his face hardens and he looks to the side, rolling his eyes as his jaw clenches. “Yeah, okay, doll.” You force him to look at you once more, gently tracing the edge of his scar with your thumb, pecking his lips softly. “I mean it Dabi, you’re so pretty.” He sighs, eyes not meeting yours as he slowly pulls your closer, kissing you much softer than usual.

✿ 𝐇𝐀𝐖𝐊𝐒 smiles wide when he pulls you by your wrist back into his arms, gripping you tightly and pulling your closer to his chest, kissing the crown of your head softly as his hand rubs up and down your back. “Got a few more minutes before I gotta get up birdie, don’t go yet,” he insists. His face softens when your hand brushes hair out of his face, eyes bright and happy as they stare at him, scanning over his every feature. He’s not used to such a soft gaze directed at him, looking down bashfully while you stare. “You’re really pretty, Kei. You know that?” He gives you a small laugh, cheeks dusted red as he buries his face into your neck. “You’re just saying that.” Running your fingers through his hair, you kiss his head, making him melt and his hands grip your shirt. “I’m not, baby. You’re perfect.”

✿ 𝐁𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐆𝐎𝐔 buttons up his shirt, grumbling under his breath, unhappy that he has to wear formal attire for the evening. His eyes meet yours when you walk in, scanning over him really quickly before grinning widely. “Damn, Katsuki, you’re looking pretty,” you tease. He growls, swatting your hand away as you go to pinch his cheek, glaring at you harshly. “Shut up, you dumbass. Now get out,” he grumbles. With a giggle, you wrap your arms around his neck, and he lets you, glaring to the side. His arms gently wrap around your torso, hugging you close to him. “I’m serious,” you whisper much gentler this time, “you’re pretty, you know.” He scowls, face darkening to a shade of crimson, flicking your forehead as he rolls his eyes. “I told you to shut up, you idiot.” But he kisses you softly, arms tightening around you and bringing you as close as he could, not ready to let go.

✿ 𝐊𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐀 smiles giddily as you walk through the door, rushing over to wrap you in a hug for the first time all day, excited to see you again. With a laugh, you hug him back, squeezing him tightly against you. “Hey, pretty boy, I missed you,” you chuckle. Pulling away slowly, he stares at you with wide eyes before looking down at his feet, rubbing his neck as his ears turn red. “Pretty boy?” Nodding, you squish his cheeks together, making his lips pucker as you press small kisses to them, moving up and pressing more onto his warm cheeks. “Yes, pretty boy. The prettiest boy ever,” you smile, making his heart soar in this chest, eyes brightening just a tad bit more. With a shy grin, he kisses your lips softly, lingering on them as he pulls away, whispering “you’re really pretty too” before pecking your forehead.

✿ 𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐈 looks at you, eyes wide when he feels your hands suddenly hold each side of his face, pulling it closer to you as you lean in. Your thumb runs over his eyebrow, making its way to his cheek bone as it traces over it, gentle, as though he was delicate and fragile. “You’re so pretty, Denki. My pretty boy,” you whisper. His eyes widen before they gloss over just a bit, smile slowly widening as he leans into you more, seeking more affection. “Yeah, you think so?” You hum, carding a hand through his hair as he buries his face into your neck, your other hand rubbing his back soothingly. “Yeah. I love you,” you smile, holding him as he lets himself feel your warmth. His voice is quiet, barely audible as he whispers out a muffled “love you too, so much,” into the skin of your neck before kissing it.

todoroki touya isn’t a despicable man.

at least, you don’t think he is.

not as he gently holds your hand in his, applying rubbing alcohol with a cotton ball to make sure your cut doesn’t get infected — wrapping it in a bandage, making sure it isn’t too incredibly tight.

“ya gotta be more careful,” he starts, looks up at you with such tenderness you want to be drowned in all of his love. “or what will ya do when i’m not ‘round?”

“it was an accident, i’m always careful.”

“obviously not careful enough.”

you rest your head against his chest, sigh. the sound of his beating heart blends with the sound of rain and you look down at the way touya still holds onto your hand — softly, lovingly.

todoroki touya is a good lover, you think.

and not only because he bandages your hand, but because he makes you feel safe in the wee hours of the night — when there’s thunder, when you have a nightmare. because he feeds you cantaloupe on hot summer days out on your balcony, because you feel him pour his love into your heart and soul as he holds you by the waist as you shower.

you stare up at him, sheepish smile on your face. “then you’ll have to stay with me forever, huh?” you lean back again, wrap your arms around his neck.

“yeah,” he caresses your cheek with his thumb and you feel that tender love again. “i guess so.”

it’s quiet — todoroki touya doesn’t think he deserves your sweet loving, thinks he doesn’t deserve to wake up next to you every morning.

and as if you feel his silent doubts and worries, you smile, kiss him. “i love you.”

because todoroki touya deserves the universe, not the cruel world. he deserves the moon and the stars and every flower plucked by your hands (because, you think, you’d like to give every single one to him).

his breath catches in his throat. “i love you, too.”

todoroki touya isn’t a despicable man.

at least, you don’t think he is.

not when he’s handed you his heart on a silver platter and not when he treats you with such gentleness.

“Look out!”

You spun around quickly, ready to punch whoever tapped your shoulder, but glared when you saw Dabi standing behind you while he was laughing.

“I swear if you come closer to me one more fucking time I will destroy the rest of your not purple skin”, you said giving him a death glare.

“Oh no, I got so scared my tear ducts almost started working again”, he said with a fake concerned look.

“If you don’t stop I will make sure none of the ducts on your body work”, you said as you walked away from him.

It was a beautiful day in Liyue. The grass was a luscious green and the birds were singing a beautiful song. After a nice stay at the Emerald Maple Inn, you and Mr. Zhongli decided to have a cup of tea next to the Statue of the Seven before heading on your way to Qingce Village. You were to accompany him to pick up supplies for the next funeral rite, and with the way the morning was going, you knew nothing would ruin this peaceful day.

"So how much do you want to bet that Rex Lapis was hot and knew it?”

You ignored the choked sound that came from your side as you gazed up at the picturesque statue. Though your companion would probably consider your question quite out of the blue, you couldn’t say it was the first time you wondered such a thing. Whenever you passed by one of them in Liyue, the thought always plagued your mind for a few hours after. Judging by Mr. Zhongli’s reaction, though, it seemed he did not share your sentiments.

"Ehem… That… certainly is an interesting thought. I can’t say whether or not previous records touched on such a topic."

You hummed, gazing up at the statue. Really? That couldn’t be true. Why wouldn’t anyone talk about a statue looking like that?

“Well there are many reasons why I’d say I’m right. First off, his outfit. He has a hooded cloak on while also being shirtless. There’s absolutely no logical reason to dress like that unless they’re from the deserts of Sumeru, wouldn’t you say? It obviously was a conscious fashion decision. If you pair that with the seductive way he’s sitting, I’d be inclined to assume he’s quite clearly feeling his look.”

Silence came from your side. Hm, Mr. Zhongli still wasn’t convinced? Then you would go on.

“You do see it, right? His posture is relaxed, yet confident. Not to mention the way he’s looking at that cube in his hand with practically bedroom eyes. His knees are apart too. My friend from Sumeru told me that when a man sits like that, he’s displaying his dominance.”

Still silence.

"You can't sit in a seductive pose like that without on some level being aware you look good doing it. I mean look at him! He's shirtless and everything! I've heard even macho fishermen say that they pray to the statue for a good night before coming home to see their wives. You can’t blame them, right?"

A hesitant cough.

"I-I'm sure it was a younger time when those statues were sculpted."

You groaned.

"Maybe, but you’re not even looking! If you did, you’d agree with me that Rex Lapis is clearly exuding such massive 'cocky bastard' vibes!" You countered.

For some reason, the more you spoke, the more flustered he became.

"C'mon, Mr. Zhongli! Why are you so embarrassed? It's not like I'm slandering his good name! I mean, if Rex Lapis didn't want us talking about him like this, maybe he shouldn't have made a statue with abs clean enough to eat off of!"

Okay, maybe at this point, you were piling it on a bit thick. Could anyone blame you? His face was in his hand as if he had a headache, and were his ears tinged the slightest hint of red? It was an interesting sight. Never had you seen him look so completely flustered. Sure you were rather blunt, but you didn't think your words were that provocative. Mr. Zhongli really was practically a 65 year old man.

"I thought you respected the Geo Archon…" He muttered weakly.

You gasped in offense.

"I do! I’d even consider my words the utmost of pious behavior. In Mondstadt, the sisters of the church consider themselves married to Barbatos, the Anemo Archon. So finding the Geo Archon to be a sex god is pretty much the same thing, right?”

“No, it is not.”

Bakugou:

Is at first super jealous and annoyed.

He's already gotta deal with Icy Hot.

Why this Blade-Haired Hobo Extra now as well???

It's not like he's attractive. (He totally finds him attractive. That's why he's so mad.)

Also, he's witty as fuck so he can't just talk over the dude like he does everyone else.

He hates that.

Also the kid never seems fazed when Bakugou is Bakugou.

Just shrugs and grins and says nothing. Sometimes whistles innocently. Yeah, stuff he knows is gonna annoy Bakugou.

It totally does.

Is shocked when Izuku admits to all three of them one day that he wants to date all three of them.

They all agree to dating Izuku but it's a rivalry between the three of who can be best boyfriend until all four of them start dating each other.

Who am I kidding? It's still a rivalry with these three much to Deku's chagrin.

Bakugou finds Pino very cute but hell will freeze over before he tells anyone. He calls the little soul bird "that damn feather duster" (affectionate).

Todoroki:

Is constantly taking Rody's sarcasm as serious.

Rody finds this hilarious.

Starts doing that thing that people do with little kids making them say bad words or random ridiculousness.

Izuku gets upset with Rody for this even if he is a little amused.

Bakugou is hella amused but isn't going to give Rody the pleasure of knowing that.

Once they become friends and then start dating tries to help Shouto learn the difference between face-value information, sarcasm, and joking, etc.

Still does the make him say stuff sometimes because it's fun and Shouto is a good sport.

Shouto finds Pino very sweet and often she sits on his shoulders and sleeps.

Is the one all three come to even quiet time is needed. No words need to be said either.

They each have their own tells when they need quiet Shouto time.

With Bakugou he just angrily throws himself onto the couch and glares until Shouto silently pats his lap at which time Bakugou lays his head in it and Shouto runs his fingers through Bakugou's hair. - "Only because you're taking up half the couch." "I know."

With Izuku he will just walk up to him then second guess himself and start walking off until Shouto stops him and takes his hand, lacing their fingers together. - "Let's take a walk around campus for awhile?" "... thank you~"

With Rody its a little harder what with the way his witicism and sarcasm kinda hide what he's really feeling but you know who can help with that... that's right! Pino! And boy does she! When Rody needs quiet time with Shouto she'll literally attempt to turn Shouto's head to look at Rody. He still doesn't really 'see' what she wants him to see. He's not really good with subtlety guys, give the boy a break. But he'll come to realize that when Pino is trying to get his attention where it comes to Rody, something's gotta be done and soon. Especially once they are dating. (Shouto is the best damn boyfriend no matter his partner(s) and you can fight me on this.) *after Pino has gotten his attention* "Hey, Rody?" "Hm?" "Want to get out of here? My sister invited me to dinner if you want to join me? I'm sure she'd love to see you again." "... yeah okay. Sounds good." *Rody tries to shrug it off but I've look at Pino let's Shouto know he done good. Sometimes she'll even give him a thumbs up.*

- The type to randomly laugh while praying

- Gorou or Sara have to remind him that he can’t beatbox

Zhongli

- leads the prayer

- His alarm for prayers is just his voice, he forgot how to set alarms

- Has the entire Quran memorized

- He tries so hard not to swear, it’s so funny to see him struggle

- Often tricks Childe into accidentally breaking his fast
