actually it IS unfair that my school don't have a sensory room because as a neurodivergent person with hypersensitivity I get very overstimulated very quickly and I have nowhere to go. nowhere that is an actual, quiet, safe space where I can regulate without being interrupted or dismissed. it's something that should be available in schools. it should be an accommodation for neurodiverse students. it's not just "liberties" or "more opportunities", it's something that would help many to do better in school and feel more comfortable in school knowing that they have a place where they can go.
