I read it all in one go and ended up barely having time to draw. It took me about four days for the first two books.
When I was reading fool’s fate I just ignored everything for a few days, and it took me some time to recover after finishing it.
I think I still haven’t fully recovered. I keep replaying the final chapters in my head over and over again

Kristian Zahrtmann (Danish, 1843-1917) David at the Palace of Saul, 1878 King Saul was the first king of the Israelites chosen by Jehovah. He was disobedient and rebellious, so Jehovah said he would be replaced. Jehovah already had a replacement in mind, David. But David had to wait to rule, which was when Saul was killed.
