Love yall/p š
Was wishing there was a positivity post for original fiction writers since I see so many about how fanfic writers are doing so much for their communities even when they're not actively writing, and then I thought:
Be the change you want to see in the world.
I don't understand how you've made this coherent, but you have

Honestly same, but this idea is as golden as menaleas' treasure
what if. spartans who don't like how smooth their skin is. who when out of their suits are disturbed by how smooth their skin is. the texture of the bodysuit that holds the gel layer is textured and that feels better.
all the injuries. all the hits they've taken. the pain they've endured. yet no scars to show for it. it feels wrong. their skin is far too smooth.
in a way, yes, their armor is their uniform. a second skin. but it's also what protects them - not entirely physically - but also mentally. when their body isn't as mangled as it seems to be, the ridges and grooves and texture of their armor and the bodysuit makes their bodies seem a little more accurate to how they feel they should be.
Hello to you too! I'm already really interested in the books you have!
Hello!
My name is Ian and Iām a writer so I figured it was about time I joined the writeblr community.
Iām 24 and use he/they pronouns.
I have a degree in Music Industry that I am currently not using. I also have a certificate in Writing and Publishing which I am sort of using.
Iāve been writing stories for as long as I can remember, but only started pursuing it as a career about three years ago. Since then I have self-published two books that I am very proud of.
In addition to writing I have interests in music, film & television, and linguistics. I also love to read so this will probably be a little bit of a bookblr too.
As I said, I have two books currently available in paperback and ebook. Theyāre called It Could Always Be Worse and Will It Ever Get Better? They are both part of a series called the Woodview Stories, which I plan to continue. Iām currently working on the next book.
It Could Always Be Worse
After a traumatic experience in her hometown of Miami, Elena Flores moves away to live with the father sheās never met. Itās not easy starting a new school in the middle of October, so when her half sister invites her to a party, she thinks āwhatās the worst that could happen?ā Elena must learn to navigate her new life in the wealthy suburbs of Long Island and try to build relationships, but thatās hard to do when she doesnāt know who to trust and she canāt let go of her anger and sadness.

Will It Ever Get Better?
Jo Reilly has dealt with a lot of big changes lately. Sheās sharing a room with a surprise half-sister, her parents are always fighting, her best friends arenāt speaking to her, and sheās falling for someone totally unexpected. All she wants is to be normal, but what does that even mean? Jo must learn to shed her insecurities, resentments, and preconceived notions, in order to be true to herself and find the people who really care about her.

Woodview Stories
Woodview Stories is a Young Adult contemporary fiction book series. It tells the coming of age tales of a diverse group of teens living in the affluent Long Island neighborhood of Woodview. The overarching story progresses through the books chronologically with each installment switching narrator to focus on a different person's point of view. It all begins with Elena, whose sudden move to Woodview from Miami sets off a chain of events that affects the lives of everyone around her.
The majority of what I write in YA, like the books I have already written. I also tend to stick to contemporary, but sometimes drift to other genres.
I also dabble in screenwriting. Iām currently working on a teleplay as a side project. Iāll probably post a lot about that in addition to my main project.
I donāt know if Iāve put the right stuff in the intro post, but here it is anyway.
Thatās all for now. Bye!
It's new years Eve, but everyday is halloween if tou try hard enough
TOMORROW IS HALLOWEEN!!!
Just loving the adorableness of Ninma and Narul.
Hello everybody! Life has been hectic and I haven't been able to post here in quite some time. However, I have just finished the second edit of my WIP, Testaments of the Green Sea. I'm currently waiting for my editor (that is my partner) to finish their own read over of the manuscript.
Way back before everything went haywire, I commisioned a piece from @faeporcelain. It turned out amazing but I somehow failed to ever actually post it here for y'all to see it!
This is their rendition of my two MC's Narul and Ninma. Please go check out some more of their things, I really enjoy their style.
I'm not there yet but when I am satisfied with my edits, I would love to find some beta readers. And I would love discussing more about my story. Few things make me as happy as answering random story and worldbuilding questions. I used to post here relatively often, I might start doing that again if everything else in life permits it.
I'm now prepared for if I ever have the sudden urge to go swimming in winter
Anyway thatās why you wear wool and a life jacket babeeeyyyy
Anyone wanna here me info dump about the fictional city I'm worldbuilding?
