finally did a saint and enot comic since i always wanted to do that, i might add more to this since theres some back and forth i would like to do to add to their dynamic

essentially my idea for enot and saint is that saint follows the idea that existence, at least in the material plane, is like an endless play where its actors are forced to stay on stage and play forever and it is their task to relieve these actors from this endless play so they may rest

but enot loves plays especially romances and dramas

they see no issue with an endless play as the show is still ran and controlled by the actors at the end of the day so why wouldnt they just do what they wanted, the subject of the play itself never mattered anyways

plus the play would be pretty boring if there were no more actors for its two eternal spectators

tho weirdly enot with their infinite knowledge, wisdom, and power doesnt stop saint in their task, sometimes even encourages it, with no real answer to why

is it because enot knows that this task will never end and is pointless or is it because enot doesnt actually know if this task is able to be completed which excites him, offering a new experience to one who has experienced everything

or is it because hes stupidly romantic who loves the idea of them being the only two people left in the world

only enot would know

I can't promise regular Rajaniposting because what fanworks I do heavily depends on what I'm fixated on a the moment/if I'm working on my own oc projects bwahaha

BUT I do doodle them sometimes still!

Their lore isn't too complex btw, its mostly based on what I experienced with them gameplaywise, adding on some story elements in my head for fun.

Rajani is a zealot empire leader that started out as a relatively normal space explorer (as much as a zealot can be normal ig) until they learned about the existence of the Grox. In a. Rather very rough way (Yknow that one galactic adventure "Infestation"? Well he had to get that cyborg eye somewhere)

And he went downhill from there basically! :-D *tada* Huge ego and god complex issues are not a good mix with being hellbent on a mission of destroying the half-machine pests from the galaxy's center, so

Instead of being a normal, peaceful, civilized being, Rajani cooked up a plan to fight his way to the core, expand his empire even at the cost of other ones, ally the Grox to get easy enlightment at the core for himself... And backstab them a second later and go on to destroy all of them! :-D

He's a terrible person that thinks he's some sort of wrongfully hated saviour of galaxy that needed all that power to stand up to the collective enemy, not really caring that well, he is just taking the place of the Grox he swore to destroy. I hate their guts a lot </3

Also, Scrolls of Faith from the game mention that one silly figure of "The God That Will Come"?

Well I like to think that this is what Rajani basically becomes (not the literal god that the other archetypes mention, but could see himself from that lense of his religion's interpretation), someone who warped his faith so bad while gaining so much recognizability that he's left as just such a bad parody of what he was supposed to stand for and his beloved Spode

if he realizes that then he deserves all the mental damage of not being able to turn back x10 I think

I was thinking of a rain world OC in the spirit of the Downpour campagins with set plot and goals.

I first wanted to call this dude "The Craftsman/The Wright" but I think their iterator may or may not get a bit more attached to his repairman scug so they get a proper name.

The lore and the message I have in my head is still very fluid, but I wanted to think of something from a perspective of an iterator cut-off from communication that missed every transmission about tragedies all around and one of many slugcats made just to repair said communication devices. Scug existencial crisis ensues

It is a mole cricket, but you're right to think that European mole cricket must not be correct. That species is only found in Europe and a bit into Asia. Your fella here is likely a southern mole cricket which is only found in Australia :)

Google is terrible at IDing bugs btw because it does not take location into consideration. Of all the IDing apps, Seek is the most accurate, but still not foolproof by any means.

So I remember that one person who actually guessed the game for this crossover! I was introduced to Hylics only recently and I gotta say the surreal and abstract vibe are so unique that I had to draw Huzzle like that (even tho it barely changed tbh XD)
